0:00 so today on my Vlog or video blog I will be unboxing the antech spot cool but
0:05 before I start I'd like to clarify something we are actually shooting this
0:09 episode with a different camera than normal we are shooting it with the Samsung f30 here so we're going to find
0:15 out how good the quality is compared to just my my power shot G7 which we
0:19 normally use to shoot these videos so the spat cool is basically for cooling a
0:24 spot so you choose a spot you cool it with this so what they want you to do is
0:30 you can pretty much Mount this anywhere in your case where there is a spot and
0:36 by spot I mean somewhere where there is a screw that you can hold it down with
0:40 so I'm going to show you what I mean in just a moment here first let's get this
0:44 unboxing kind of underway here so mounts on your motherboard or anywhere else
0:48 quite flexible okay yeah the packaging is really not very interesting so let's
0:51 get rid of that here is your instruction manual it comes in a conveniently sized
0:56 tiny piece of paper which we will unfold
1:00 to something hopefully a little bit bigger ah there we go so now we can
1:03 almost read it okay so step one connect the spot spot cool step two connect the
1:09 power connector step three adjust the speed fairly straightforward so step one
1:14 let's walk you through that so here's how the spot cool mounts and this is
1:17 actually really cool so you see this little hole down here basically anywhere
1:22 where there's a screw in your case so for example if you were to cool your RAM
1:27 you see this hole right here you can stick the spot cool right there put in
1:32 your normal motherboard screw and then the spot pool will be mounted just like
1:37 that you use the flexible ARM to just kind of adjust it I want it to blow down
1:43 on my RAM and you can kind of play around with it until you get it just
1:46 where you want it or you can adjust it okay I want it to blow on the back of my
1:50 video card you can actually move it around this way as well so you can be
1:54 like really really weird and flexible with it as much as you want it has four
1:58 blue LEDs on it so it actually kind of glows and looks pretty cool it has one
2:02 three pin connector so if I were for example using this to cool my RAM I'd
2:07 plug my 3pin connector in here just like that into any three pin fan header and
2:13 then I'd adjust it just like that now RAM doesn't need a whole lot of cooling
2:16 so that's where one of the other features comes in if I don't know if you
2:19 can see this the new camera may or may not be that great but it's a lmh so low
2:23 medium highspeed settings for the fan so you'd actually probably set it to low so
2:28 you just get a little bit of air flow wherever you need it so you can also
2:31 mount it onto the PCI brackets above your cards so you could mount it kind of
2:36 right here you screw in your card and then you point it down at whatever needs
2:39 extra cooling anyway that's the antech spot cool thank you for checking out my
2:43 video blog on the antech spot cool
