0:00 so today on my video blog i'll be unboxing an ncix exclusive this is a
0:05 yate loon fan okay gate loon so they're
0:08 an oem these are direct from china so
0:11 you've got a couple things on the box here first of all this is a sleeve
0:15 bearing fan this particular model so this is the d12 sl12
0:21 so that's a low speed fan it's a 120 millimeter so it is large 120 by 120 by
0:27 25 okay that's enough about the packaging let's get this thing out of here okay so as i said these are an ncix
0:32 exclusive and the thing that makes them exclusive is not that they're a yate loon fan all kinds of products and
0:37 companies use a yate loon fans for all kinds of things i think Corsair uses
0:41 them for their power supplies they oem for a lot of other fan manufacturers but
0:46 we have one that has a black frame and red blades and it also spins at the low
0:51 speed so there's the fan itself the thing about sleeve bearing fans is you
0:55 want to avoid using them horizontally like this or like this you want to use
0:59 them in a vertical orientation if you're going to be doing it like this you want
1:02 to be using a ball bearing fan we also had them sleeved so you can see it's got
1:06 quite a long three pin sleeved connector on it so
1:10 it's not going anywhere it's excellent and then we've also got it included is
1:14 an adapter that goes from three pin to four pin if you want to plug it into a
1:18 molex connector on your power supply the last thing that's included with this
1:21 retail box fan is four fan screws that
1:25 you can use to mount it to your case so just wanted to give you guys the quick
1:29 heads up on the gate loon fan and thank you for checking out my unboxing
