0:06 With the purchase of a qualifying Intel processor, SSD, or Knuck, you could
0:10 instantly win an Intel gaming jersey and be entered in the draw for the Ultimate
0:14 System. Click now to learn more. This is a momentous occasion. We actually
0:18 haven't done an unboxing in this calendar year, but this is it. This
0:24 will be a dual unboxing, special edition unboxing to promote an extremely
0:28 exciting series of videos that we have coming over the next little while. Our
0:32 whole room liquid cooling project, which you can actually see we are in the
0:37 middle of implementing. So, we've got hardware here. We've got Luke modding
0:41 cases out on the porch. Uh we've got hardware for five rigs all over the
0:46 floor over in the uh Techquickie set.
0:50 So, um, yeah, let's unbox the main event
0:54 as far as the actual water cooling systems go. So, yes, we are going to
1:00 have radiators hanging off the roof of the house. And, uh, that's how we're
1:04 going to take care of actually dissipating the heat, but you have to connect something to the six core
1:08 extreme editions, or in the case of Edel's rig, a 12 core Zeon. You have to
1:12 connect something to the CPUs and something to the GTX Titans to remove
1:17 the heat from the cards and put it into the water. So, that will be handled by
1:22 on the CPUs an Apple G XL CPU block. So,
1:26 let's go ahead and have the unboxing experience, shall we? First thing inside
1:29 is an installation guide, which is pretty typical of SwiftTech. They
1:32 provide it in a bunch of different languages. They're honestly their
1:36 mounting system is pretty self-explanatory, so you probably won't need it. But it does include some
1:40 important steps like removing the plastic film and how to install thermal
1:43 compound. No, you do not spread it out. Even cooling experts agree. There you
1:48 go. You install it a little something like that. All right, then. Ah, yes,
1:52 color plates. So, you actually get a variety of different color plates. And
1:56 because we're building five systems at once, we are going with blue because
2:00 that's what's on by default. But you can swap it out and you can put in red,
2:04 white, or green. Christmy.
2:08 All right, next layer. We get some Swifttech branded thermal compound
2:13 Timmate. All right, Tim, good eye and all that
2:17 noise. And then you also get some mounting hardware. So, this is for AMD.
2:21 And you'll actually swap out the stock.
2:25 That's funny. They individually package
2:29 each of the AMD pieces, which I guess
2:32 shouldn't surprise me because they also individually package their compression
2:36 fittings. There's our pile of them for the for the setup here. L All right, so
2:42 we've got our AMD mounting hardware. Then we've got the pre-installed
2:47 Intel mounting hardware for LG 1155, 1156, or 1150 there. So, there's a back
2:52 plate and then spring-loaded screws on here with these uh with these nuts
2:58 keeping them from uh you know, just spinning infinitely. You can swap that
3:02 out with LGA 2011 mounting hardware,
3:06 which is what we're going to need to do because that's what our rigs are going to be using. So, those are the blocks,
3:11 and I actually have one. So, this is Edel's machine with the 12
3:16 core Xeon already installed. We are going to install compression fittings on
3:20 here and then it's got 64 gigs of Kingston HyperX memory on an ASUS X79
3:24 Deluxe. And this lights up blue and it's going to look all sweet and it's going
3:27 to be awesome. All right, so next ah yes, this is the big kahuna. This is the
3:33 Komodo NVLE, which normally stands for light edition
3:37 or loser edition or lame edition, but in this case it stands for luxury edition.
3:42 So same thing, you get some pretty rudimentary instructions. Put the screws
3:46 in the thing. Use the back plate for the other things. Okay. It's compatible with
3:50 780 780 Ti and Titans as well as Titan
3:54 Blacks depending on the PCB being used. And man, is that a beautiful water
4:00 block. Look at this thing. So, you've got an acetal as well as brushed metal
4:05 and acrylic construction. You've got uh this one also has replaceable uh light.
4:11 Here we go. Here's the replacement ones. It also has replaceable lighting. So, it
4:14 comes with blue and red, and I believe they have green pre-installed, although
4:18 don't quote me on that. You get an Allen key for going ahead and installing uh
4:23 things and stuff, taking it apart and all that noise. On the back, a Yeah,
4:28 that nickelplated. Everything is good. You're going to want
4:32 to take these off before installing the block. And uh then it also comes with a
4:36 nice thick, one of the thickest I've ever seen, actually. This comes with
4:40 some more thermal compound. Comes with stop fittings as well as all the screws
4:43 you need. I'm surprised those aren't individually packaged. Like one bag per
4:47 screw. All right. And then it comes with one of the thickest back plates that
4:50 I've ever seen that has a nice brushed aluminum finish to it. Very nice. And
4:56 then they've also they've done it so that uh the Swifttech logo will be right
5:00 side up once the card is actually installed in your system. I can show you a finished one. So this one I have
5:06 already assembled and installed the compression fittings on. So that's what
5:09 it's going to look like on the Titan Black Editions that we are using for
5:13 this whole setup. So that's what it'll
5:16 look like actually installed in the system. Gorgeous. All right, so thanks
