0:00 So, it's day two of mineral oil cooled machineryness.
0:05 PCing. Yeah. So, today we're going to put all of the actual hardware together
0:11 and put it all in there. So, we'll be taking this out and
0:14 mounting everything onto the back of this. So, we're not really doing a ton
0:18 with the actual tank yet itself. Speaking of mounting, we'll be doing the
0:22 biggest penis TE's ever where we put
0:25 everything in there and then don't actually dump any oil into it.
0:31 Yeah,
0:39 Corsair gaming RGB keyboards feature precision Cherry MX RGB key switches for
0:44 16.8 million color per key backlighting for virtually unlimited customization.
0:50 Click now to learn more. So, I'll start on the hardware here and then I guess
0:54 Luke can get started prepping the actual tank. um air pump and bubbles as well as
0:59 rocks. And before we get started, we need to be sure your rocks are clean.
1:02 Yep. Good. We're good. All right, then. Here we go.
1:06 I'll give you this, I guess. Oh, yeah. I guess I'll leave that. Uh
1:10 why don't you leave that in there for now? Yeah.
1:15 Well, I need to be able to get inside of there.
1:19 I need to get deep inside of there. Uh I'll need these very soon. So, I'll
1:23 just hold on to the the predators. cuz I'm thinking they're not the only predators around
1:27 here. Predator memory. Predator sexual
1:31 predator. See jokes. Just some predator
1:34 mammory. Yeah, predator memory. Smoking like a true predator.
1:40 I'm prepping what we're going to have in the bottom of the tank. One thing that's
1:43 going to make this a lot easier than when I did it was my power supply was
1:47 against the bottom. In this one, there's nothing actually really against the
1:50 bottom because the power supply is going to be coming from here on the actual
1:54 it's going to be mounted in the top. So, that'll be nice because then you can lift the entire system out without
1:59 having any issues. Whenever I tried to lift mine out, the power supply would hang and I was pulling it out and that
2:03 sucked. That was not good at all. And um
2:06 it'll help with just space on the bottom having that thing actually sitting
2:09 there. So, we're going to see. I hope I'm pretty sure that these suction cups
2:14 on these are going to be totally silicon, which should be fine. and have
2:19 nothing to do with rubber because if they have anything to do with rubber at
2:22 all that will be a big problem. So you're saying that we're not gonna
2:27 use using a rubber is like a serious issue.
2:31 It just doesn't it just doesn't work. Now EVGA is the only one with a with an
2:37 MATX X99 motherboard at the time of
2:40 filming this. So that was why we opted
2:43 to go with them for this particular build. Um because we wanted to use an
2:48 oil cooled PC tank that wasn't so big
2:51 that it was going to be basically impossible to move it. And Fugit also
2:56 said that this is one of their uh this is one of their new models. So they
3:00 wanted us to check this one out as opposed to one that's been around for a long time. So uh that's pretty much it
3:05 for CPU installation. Anyway, that's why that's why we went ahead and chose this board. Now I'm going to have to remove
3:09 stuff like this. You see these? These could easily be rubber, these little uh
3:14 these little port covers. So, we're going to want to remove anything like
3:18 that on the motherboard before we submerge this bad boy. Were there any
3:23 like bolts or anything in this baggie?
3:29 Did we take anything out of it? Did you clean them? Perhaps.
3:33 Yeah. And they went somewhere. It was dry. Could it Could it be these ones over
3:37 here on the shelf in the magnet?
3:41 That actually looks like it. Oh, yeah. Well, we it's somewhere safe,
3:45 so uh that's good.
3:49 Exactly where it's supposed to be on a magnetic parts tray, so nothing can be
3:54 lost. I'll tell you what, I'll look at the picture on the front of the manual.
3:59 Yeah, it seems pretty self-explanatory.
4:04 Go like this. Can't really go wrong with
4:17 Wait, what? Oh, are you actually I don't think you can be here.
4:22 It's not working. I can't work. Yeah, this does not look like working.
4:28 What am I going to say? If that qualifies as work, then uh
4:32 you're all fired. Love that. Eight heat pipes per side.
4:37 Sexy hard mount that's going on there.
4:49 That is that is sexy. Even if you're not into computers, you have to appreciate
4:53 the the sexiness. Got a note of approval.
4:57 I even know I think it's cool. Like that. That is looking good. Hey.
5:03 All right. All right. See you later. Oh, I'll see you in a few minutes and
5:06 then later. Oh, okay. Are you scootered here?
5:12 He's not allowed to bike. I think what?
5:15 Never mind. You're laughing at me. Here's a pro tip for anyone watching.
5:20 Use your tip.
5:45 EVGA gives you like super nice included cables. They're braided.
5:49 Yeah, I know. That's awesome. I had no idea. What card
5:54 is this? Oh, damn. Okay, cool.
5:58 Yeah, 780 classified dog.
6:01 Oh, it's taller. That might be a problem. Is it by a lot?
6:11 Wow. Yeah. Not bad.
6:14 Yeah. Okay. So, now is moment of truth time.
6:20 You're a little bit down. There you go.
6:25 I don't think it's going to make it anyway. You're right up against the card. Okay.
6:29 Let's just So, I'll just calm down for a second. I think we might have to be
6:34 innovative here. Sometimes
6:39 innovation involves surgery.
6:42 I think we might be performing graphics card surgery. Yeah, we're just cuz this
6:46 is just plastic shroud up till here, right? Okay.
6:50 Okay, sure. Why don't you do that then? And I'll pull the motherboard back out because we got to do cable management
6:54 for the uh temp sensor power.
6:57 There's no way I'm going to leave it hanging across the across everything
7:00 like this. It's really ugly. Even with the kit, I'd still say this is
7:05 an intermediate to advanced PC builder project. Yep.
7:09 Oh my god. Oh wow. You got to get uh
7:12 Oh my god. Oh my god. It's a pretty sexy card. Wow. Look at
7:18 that. That is so baller. Oh my goodness. That
7:23 is so overbuilt. I guess if the idea was
7:27 for us to use like crazy overbuilt components,
7:31 then we achieved that goal. We did real good.
7:35 You guys have to circumcise a graphics card. Still functional, just smaller.
7:39 Yeah. Note that Luke is wearing the correct PPE.
7:44 This glove doesn't fit. Look at where the knuckle spots are.
7:57 It'll definitely take some cleaning up, but there's that so far. I'll have to
8:02 clean up this cuz it like melted over
8:10 now. Luckily, because of rain, it
8:14 actually looks pretty clean. All right,
8:17 motherboard in.
8:22 Okay, here we go.
8:25 Guide me, goose. No, I guess you're fine. The spot needs
8:29 to There you go. Good. It is so
8:33 Wow, that is surprisingly clean.
8:40 Okay,
8:43 24 pin and some Alexa.
8:47 That's right. I am looking forward to powering this bad boy up. Everything is
8:52 hard. Everything is difficult about builds like this. So, while Luke's
8:57 indisposed uh finding out if we can use LED
9:01 lighting in our setup here, I'm going to do a quick post cuz you you test the
9:05 hardware, of course, before you, you
9:08 know, assemble it. And then for for a build like this, it's a really good idea
9:11 to also do a test before you fill it with oil. So, it's very important at
9:16 this stage to not plug in the pump
9:20 because if the pump runs dry, which it would be because there's no oil or water
9:24 in it, then it will destroy it pretty much instantly. So, uh, our pump is not
9:30 plugged in. Also, we're not going to want to run it for a very long time
9:34 because if we were to do that, then the CPU would overheat because it doesn't
9:38 actually have a fan on it. So, onboard
9:41 power button. Moment of truth time.
9:44 Fishy work. Apparently
9:49 that post code can be caused by a loose
9:54 18 connect. Oh [ __ ]
9:59 Oh, I didn't plug in the CPU connector. Well, that would be it, wouldn't it?
10:07 Here I was all stressed out. Post code C for EVGA means CPU not getting any power
10:14 there. So, we're going to go ahead and plug that there. CPU power in. Okay.
10:19 Mhm. There. Okay. That's That's more like it. This is more like what we
10:23 expect to see. That's a good sign. I guess I shouldn't worry too much about
10:26 the CPU having overheated before because it wasn't getting any power. We thought
10:30 maybe we'd do a quick uh host test. Yeah, good idea.
10:36 Hey, wrong input.
10:39 There we go. So, I managed to not plug in the eight pin and then have the wrong input on my
10:43 motherboard. But the good news is that it all worked out. Monitor
10:46 and our system posts, which is like super important.
10:52 Yes, that's like 3/4 of the battle for something like this.
10:57 Okay. Well, we are just about uh we're
11:00 just about done here then actually. So these 30 cm.
11:05 Yes, sir. Oh. Oh, they go up in there. Okay. Up in
11:10 there. Up in here. Up in there.
11:13 Isn't it like DMX or something? Y'all going to make me light my case.
11:19 Like the least hardcore thing you could say. Yeah. Just put it in the way there that it
11:23 looks so good there,
11:26 you know? So, it's good
11:31 there. Well, what's this warranty void to
11:34 remove sticker? That's awful.
11:38 No warranty. Oh, that's even worse.
11:44 What happened? The warranty void if remove sticker is ugly.
11:47 I didn't realize that it would be this.
11:52 Hello. Maybe we can teamwork the cable
11:55 management a little bit. You want to hold it there?
11:59 It's not. Yet another thing about this build that
12:02 barely made it. Let's do this one first. I just wanted to make sure that these
12:06 were in the right spot. I think that's all we can really do.
12:12 Yeah. Stage two is Whoa. Hold on. We're
12:18 plugged in.
12:23 Stage two we think is done.
12:29 Here's the sack.
12:32 All the sex in the world for you.
12:36 Multiple sacks. Not not the other.
12:39 That is a really nice oil cooled machine
12:44 that we've got on our hands there. It's not about the back experience, you know,
12:50 other than looking at the rats. Like we're trying to get people to focus on
12:54 on the cheeks. Okay. Well, guys, thanks for watching.

13:28 I'm building castles in the sand.
13:37 Oh, fell. Is that the song? Yeah, that's a song. I'm building castles in the sand.
13:40 It's by the like the um I don't know,
13:44 the philosopher kings. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Peace.
13:48 Bye.
