All right, guys. I have to kind of awkwardly admit the day I discovered
0:03
snipping tool was probably one of the greatest days of my life. I was so sick
0:07
and tired of taking a screenshot, opening paint, pasting it in, cropping
0:11
it, saving it, uploading it, and finally embedding it. And trust me, I took a lot
0:16
of screenshots, and I still take a lot of screenshots. Snipping tool allowed me
0:19
to take that sevenstep process down to about four. And today, I'm extremely
0:23
happy to say I've been able to take it down again thanks to Push to two.
0:33
The Flash Voyager GTX USB3 drive from Corsair provides SSD- like performance
0:38
and fits comfortably in your pocket. Click now to learn more. The process of
0:41
acquiring Push is quite quick and simple. First, you need to go to
0:44
push.mme, best URL ever, and download
0:48
your installation file for your preferred platform, Windows, macOS, or
0:51
iOS. Now, all you need to do is go through the simple installation process
0:54
and register on their website, which is again quite simple. Now that you're
0:58
fully installed and logged in, you can perform a range of tasks like capture
1:01
full screen. Fairly self-explanatory. It captures the full screen and all of the
1:06
screens if you're in a multimonitor setup in one picture. Capture current
1:10
window, which will capture the currently selected window. Capture area, which
1:14
will let you drag and drop a selection box for what you want to capture, very
1:17
similar to snipping tool. Upload file, which lets you upload uh any file up to
1:22
20 megabytes if you are a free user. And
1:25
one thing to note here is that if you need to upload a media file like music
1:28
or video, you'll be able to play that back in the browser, which is a nice
1:32
handy little addition. And last but not least is upload clipboard, which will
1:36
take whatever you currently have in your clipboard, that's your control C, and
1:39
turn it into a text file and publish that, which will be easily readable in
1:43
your browser as well. Speaking of which, any of these tasks can be bound to
1:46
whatever set of keys you would like. And when you press said keys to perform said
1:50
action, there will be an ever so slight delay before you hear a notification
1:54
sound. And there will also be a popup on your taskbar. Clicking that popup will
1:58
open said upload in your browser. Or if
2:01
you're just sending the push to someone or embedding it somewhere, uh push has
2:05
you covered and will automatically put that into your clipboard. So after you
2:09
push something, just press Ctrl +V and the link is already there. There are
2:12
also a few interesting things going on in general settings. As a free account
2:15
user, your files are going to be removed after they haven't been accessed for about a month. And this could cause an
2:20
issue for you as becoming a pro user is currently unimpossible. I would suggest
2:25
backing up your pushes, which is quite easy to do by simply telling Push to
2:28
save a local copy to a predestined folder. On the website side of things,
2:32
you can access an archive of items you've uploaded in either the public or
2:36
private folders. Private is the default, by the way, but you can change that by
2:39
going into the account settings. Personally, I like that. But maybe you
2:42
want all of your pushes to be public for whatever reason. Now, Push is great for
2:46
me, but it can't do everything possibly for you. So, if you're a Linux user,
2:50
maybe look into a program called Shutter. If you're looking for something more aesthetically pleasing, maybe look
2:55
into Tiny Grabb. And last, but not least, if you're an Imar or Imager user,
3:00
whatever you want to call it, check out img.com/apps and you'll be able to find
3:04
a ton of stuff there that'll help you upload things to. What I'm trying to say
3:08
is that I like Push, but there's many other programs out there that can do
3:11
very similar things. Try and find the one that works best for you. Speaking of
3:15
which, what image sharing program does work the best for you if you use them?
3:19
I'd like to know. Tell me in the comments below. Tell me on the forum. Like the video, dislike the video,
3:23
favorite the video. Yeah. Doesn't do
3:27
what I'm talking about at all, but that's cool, I guess. Also, don't forget
3:31
to subscribe. And on the forum, if you want to get rid of all the ads, become a
3:34
contributor. If you want a shirt that has nothing to do with a very old band
3:37
that I used to like when I was a kid, check out the shirt link in the description below. Thanks for watching.
3:41
I'll see you guys next time.
