0:00 Lionus Tech Tips coverage of CES 2015 is brought to you by Phantom Glass. Visit
0:05 store.fantom.glass for the best darn screen protectors out there as well as
0:09 HyperX. All right, guys. Welcome to the Zotac suite. We'll be checking out three
0:13 graphics cards while we're here, but the first two will be the 970 amp Extreme
0:17 Core Edition and the 970 amp Omega Core Edition. Both of these graphics cards
0:21 are going to be faster by about 20 to 30 MHz. They're going to have about the
0:25 same cooling and temperature performance, and they'll be a little bit
0:28 slimmer. So, the previous editions were about like 2 and 1/2, three slots, so
0:33 you couldn't really SLI them very well. The new ones will be exactly two slots,
0:36 so you'll be fine. The AMP Extreme Core Edition will have a 1228 MHz base clock,
0:41 a 1380 MHz boost clock, 4 GB of GDDR5,
0:44 and a 7200 memory clock. So, a little bit faster, but not that much of a
0:49 difference. And also the 970 amp Omega core edition will have an 1152 MHz base,
0:54 a 1304 MHz boost and 4 GB of DDR5 and a
0:58 710 MHz memory clock. So, not only will you be getting the same or more
1:02 performance in terms of cooling and raw graphics output performance, but you'll
1:07 be getting it in a smaller package which is more versatile and a more affordable
1:11 graphics card overall. Last but not least is kind of a short and stubby 970
1:15 with a rear exhaust designed cooler with a single fan. and it's going to be able
1:19 to fit nicely in very small builds. And they're wondering what the interest for
1:23 this graphics card is. So, in the comments down below and maybe on their
1:26 Twitter or my Twitter, let us know what you think about this form factor for a
1:30 970. All right, guys. If you want to see all the rest of our CES content, be sure
1:33 to stay subscribed to Linus Tech Tips. Thank you to Phantom Glass for protecting our phones while we're here.
1:38 And also, there should be a video coming from them fairly soon that had some
1:41 recent developments which were quite interesting. Also, thank you to HyperX
1:45 as well. Check out their YouTube channel, youtube.com/hyperx. They're getting
1:48 close to 100,000 subscribers, but if they do get 100,000 subscribers by
1:52 January 11th, they'll be doing a pretty big giveaway. So, jump over there,
1:55 subscribe, and pay attention for a big giveaway from them. Thanks for watching.
