So, after I did my unboxing of the MIB T3140, I thought, you know what? I've
0:05
actually got a monitor sitting around that would be perfect to just install on
0:11
it so that we can actually see what it looks like. So, this is a it's an older
0:15
Acer 19in widecreen monitor. Uh, not
0:19
particularly exceptional in any way, but it's perfect for something like this.
0:24
Now, another thing I didn't show is the hardware included with the
0:29
the MIB series case. So, here, give me
0:32
two seconds here. I'm just going to put this down. So, really dusty. Ew. Okay.
0:36
So, then you've got some hard drive screws. Those are included. And then
0:39
you've also got all of the screws that you need to install the mother install
0:45
the motherboard. Install the monitor
0:48
onto the case. So, here, let me just check what the orientation of this is
0:52
going to be. Want to make sure. Okay, there's a little clip on the back. I'll
0:55
show you this really quick. See this? So, you just pull this aside and push
1:00
down and then the ARM extends. And then
1:03
for this one, gee, I don't actually know how to unlock this
1:07
one. Did the cameraman put this on here?
1:11
Cuz I bet he did it wrong. Cameraman always does things wrong. Oh, no. It's
1:15
just really stiff. Oh, there we go. Okay, so there. That's Oh, okay. Cool.
1:20
That's much better now. Okay. So, I just want to check the orientation of this
1:23
thing once I've got it on to make sure that I'm putting it on the right way so
1:28
that I can uh actually get the screws
1:32
through and thread them into something. So, I guess it goes Yeah, my guess is
1:36
that it goes this way and then must go
1:39
on like this. Or maybe it goes on
1:43
through it like this. Aha. There we go.
1:46
Can you tell I've never done this before? Okay. So, the first thing we'll
1:50
do is find the appropriate screws, which I believe are these ones. And then we
1:55
will Uh-oh. Don't worry, I found it. It's all
1:59
good. And I even have tools today. Check that out. And so, we'll screw this in to
2:04
the back of the monitor. So, yeah, we
2:08
got those holes lined up like nobody's business. I'm just going to put in two
2:12
so that you're not just sitting around waiting for me to install screws to uh
2:16
to find out the conclusion of the video.
2:19
So, we'll just do that guy. And then we'll do the top right
2:24
one. I think that'll be enough to hold this monitor. It's actually rated for up
2:28
to 22 in this uh this ARM here. So, this
2:32
is only a 19inch monitor. So, this is only going to be a small amount of the
2:36
capabilities of this little system here.
2:40
So, there we go. So, here I want you to
2:43
be able to see this from the back. So, I'll slide the monitor on, which will go
2:49
just like
2:54
that. That'll go kind of like that.
2:57
That's all I want. There we go. And then we take these two big screws and put
3:03
those in from the back. And that is how long it takes to
3:09
install the monitor onto this case.
3:14
takes like six screws, assuming you're doing it correctly, although I used only
3:17
four. And then just like that. So now that I've actually got a monitor on it,
3:21
it's much easier to move around cuz it's got it's got quite a bit of uh quite a
3:25
bit of stiffness to it so that when you have a monitor on and you have all this
3:28
leverage, it doesn't move too easily. So there you go. So you set this up just
3:32
like that. You got your keyboard and mouse and there's your complete PC. So
3:35
thank you for checking out my um how to install a monitor guide for the MIB
3:41
T3140. So, we showed the vertical adjustment as
3:46
well as the tilt adjustment. But wait, there's more.
