0:00 hey guys we're all wrapped up CES 2017
0:03 we at the airport okay that's okay we
0:07 trust me we're at the airport it's that way and we're back with our top five
0:11 laptops from the Show sponsored by Intel
0:14 we've got some real doozies in the lineup this year so without further Ado
0:18 let's get started first up is Samsung's
0:22 first ever gaming laptop The Odyssey 15
0:27 now Samsung isn't a thing that you would immediately think of when someone says
0:31 gaming system unless maybe you're thinking of mobile but the Odyssey 15
0:37 looks like a capable performer it comes with an Intel 7 stand core i7 processor
0:42 an NVIDIA GTX 1050 GPU and a 1080p
0:45 display which makes sense given its mid-range Graphics chip the bottom has
0:49 an interesting design that Samsung calls dragon scale its version of a vent and
0:55 heat sink to keep everything cool and you can pick up an odyssey for around
0:58 $1,500 Bucks moving right along is a
1:02 laptop that is impossible to ignore this
1:06 Behemoth is the Acer Predator
1:10 21x this thing tries to recreate the
1:13 high-end desktop battle station experience in laptop form with features
1:18 like a curved 2560 x 1080 120 HZ
1:22 ultrawide display with g-sync dual
1:25 NVIDIA GTX 1080s and overclockable core
1:29 i7 7820 Toby ey tracking support for
1:33 four ssds Cherry MX Brown fully mechanical key switches a touchpad that
1:38 flips over to become a number pad and all of this can be yours for the
1:42 value price of only $9,000 starting in February and while
1:47 that's awfully steep you probably won't be wanting for anything either except
1:52 for maybe some external monitors since you're a baller next up another model
1:56 rocking the GTX 1050 is the inspiring
2:00 157,000 gaming from Dell which comes in an attractive red and black design
2:05 without being too over-the-top gamer tastic along with the GTX 1050 you get a
2:10 7th gen Core i5 processor and a 1080p screen the base model comes with 4 gigs
2:15 of RAM and a one tbte hard drive so not exactly the highest end config you'll
2:20 see out there but the good news is this laptop starts at 800 bucks and if you
2:24 save a few more pennies you can outfit it with more memory an SSD and even a
2:28 GTX 1050 TI next we've got the Lenovo
2:31 Legion y720 it packs a bit more punched than
2:34 the Odyssey 15 with an NVIDIA GTX 1060
2:38 for VR support and an optional 15.6 in
2:41 4k display it's got an RGB keyboard and a PCI Express SSD but perhaps even more
2:48 interestingly it has an integrated Xbox
2:51 controller wireless receiver so if you want to use a separate controller for
2:55 gaming you don't have to mess around with plugging in a dongle even if you're
2:59 playing with three friends there's also Dolby Atmos support and it should be
3:03 available starting in April at around 1,400 bucks last but definitely not
3:09 least is the Dell XPS 13 2in1 this
3:13 pretty little number Bears a lot of resemblance to its non two-in-one cousin
3:18 and that's a good thing it features a carbon fiber and aluminum construction a
3:22 y series 7th generation core i5 or core i7 processor up to 16 gigs of RAM a back
3:28 lit keyboard a fingerprint scanner Windows hello for easy signin a 1080P or
3:33 3200x 1800 High DPI virtually borderless
3:37 touchcreen display and the ability to operate in any of three different modes
3:42 depending on what's most ergonomic and convenient Dell even managed to pack
3:45 Thunderbolt 3 and an additional USB type-c connector making this a
3:50 lightweight and very solid feeling Powerhouse so thanks for watching our
3:54 top five laptops of CES 2017 this will
3:58 probably be one of the last videos from the show this year so I bid you all ad
4:03 until next year that is to say unless you watch our other videos as well in
4:06 which case I'll see you tomorrow
