0:00 Hey guys, Brandon here. So, many have asked in the past what we bring to cover
0:03 shows like PAX and CES. So, since NAB is
0:06 one of the biggest shows for production gear, I thought it would be fitting to show you guys what Brooklyn and I will
0:10 be shooting with for the show. So, let's get into
0:21 it. The Cooler Master Nova Touch TKL
0:24 utilizes genuine Topra hybrid capacitive switches and is now available at a more
0:28 affordable price. Click now to learn more. Starting with my camera backpack.
0:32 This is the TBA ROI video backpack. I absolutely love this thing as it stores
0:37 an enormous amount of gear while also protecting all of my gear when we need
0:40 to be on the move. In the top pocket, we have all of our audio gear. We always
0:44 bring along Sennheiser G3s as our wireless audio solution. These little
0:48 packs have been the main reason we can get any sort of quality audio while on
0:52 the show floors. For monitoring audio, we have a set of Sennheiser HD280s.
0:57 These will be great for when we're back at the hotel editing as well as
1:01 monitoring audio while we're on site for that nice reference sound. Moving on to
1:05 our main mic for NAB, the Sennheiser MK4, which is what I'm actually using to
1:10 record this video. This is the first time I am using this mic in the field,
1:13 and so far it's been great with a very radiallike quality to it and a handy XLR
1:18 input on the bottom allowing me to record directly into my Zoom H6
1:22 recorder. Moving into camera setups, I will be bringing my Blackmagic Pocket
1:26 Cinema Camera in a View Factor cage with a Metabones speed booster in order for
1:31 me to use my Canon EFmount glass on it. Burkel will be using a Panasonic GH4, a
1:37 4K shooting powerhouse of a mirrorless camera with the YA GH attachment for
1:42 when we need to run audio on site. For lens mount, the GH4 has a standard
1:46 Metabones adapter for using electronic EF lenses. Speaking of lenses, here are
1:51 the two lenses I will always bring for shows. The Tamron 24 to 70 f/2.8 and the
1:57 Sigma 18 to35 F1.8. Between these two
2:01 lenses, they strike the right balance between versatile zoom range and fast
2:04 apertures for all different kinds of lighting situations when we are on the
2:08 show floor. For power, I have three intocircuit power banks that I mount
2:12 onto my cage with this little Cclamp. I love these battery banks since they last
2:16 forever and are a lot cheaper than other battery solutions for my Blackmagic. For
2:20 the GH4, Burku will be using a Anton Bower Gold Mount battery to power the
2:24 GH4 with the audio solution attached. For stabilization, I will be using a
2:28 Manfrotto MVM500 video monopod. This is
2:32 the monopod of choice for many content creators on the move. It's a great way
2:36 to stay quick on our feet while still getting some solid shots I wouldn't be
2:40 able to get using the camera handheld. Brooke will be using a similarly
2:43 lightweight setup with the Carry Speed Mo Pod with a Manfrotto 701 tripod head.
2:48 Last, but certainly not least, for camera media, we are using Kingston 64
2:52 gig SD cards, which are great because they give us the necessary right speeds
2:56 for both cameras and will prevent the need for changing out cards too often
3:00 when we're shooting on the floor. For editing, I'll be using our MSI GS70,
3:04 which I really like thanks to its lightweight form factor but reasonably
3:08 large display for use with Premiere. Burke will be using a Venom black book,
3:11 an equally capable notebook for our needs on this trip that will not weigh
3:15 us down too much in travel. And that's everything. Nothing too crazy. We like
3:20 to keep ourselves fairly lightweight for show coverage like this. I hope you guys
3:23 enjoyed this video and be sure to look forward to all of our upcoming NAB
3:27 content. Please like, dislike, comment below, or even better, comment on the
