0:07 welcome to my unboxing and first look at the accessories for the epad Transformer
0:12 TF uh 300 so we have a couple of
0:17 different things here one is their Versa sleeve which is apparently wrap up in
0:22 elegant functionality your TF 300 dual
0:26 positioning multi-angle cover for the EAD okay that is it that's the whole
0:31 description so hopefully once we actually put an e-pad inside it it'll
0:35 become somewhat more self-explanatory that's kind of nice actually so the
0:39 outside actually has a similar finish to the original
0:44 Transformer sort of looking thing okay
0:48 um and the inside uses like a microfiber
0:51 feeling very very soft uh fabric we've
0:55 got like sort of this going on whatever that is I guess you can store like a
0:59 microwave SD card in there or something that's kind of cool okay we've got this
1:03 is kind of a um like a dely type thing
1:07 okay so you throw your tablet in there so we're going to try putting an actual
1:11 tablet in it but the first we're going to have a look at the Transformer Pad
1:14 mobile doc so since the first Transformer ASUS has been doing this
1:19 whole keyboard docky expansion IO
1:23 battery expansion thingy that makes the Transformer tablets really set apart
1:28 from their competition so in terms of stuff that's included you got a user
1:33 manual which is probably unnecessary for this particular thing because it's
1:37 really easy basically what you do is you
1:40 plug your TF300 into it you just line it
1:43 up using the little arrows oh can you see the arrow anymore sorry I already to
1:47 put it in there see lined up using little arrows plug it in it clicks into
1:51 place turns your tablet into a netbook
1:54 so basically the netbook um is dead unless you really need like a much lower
1:59 cost solution because this isn't really that cheap still um but you get all this
2:03 functionality so you get a keyboard and or you get a touchpad you get a full
2:08 keyboard including all this all these
2:11 hot keys and all this good sort of uh here hold on let's go back to home there
2:16 we go so is is that on yet not sure okay
2:19 so you get all of these hot Keys related to Android functionality full keyboard
2:24 numbers arrows everything that you need so it turns the it turns the tablet from
2:29 sort of of a cool video watching web browsing device into a legitimate note
2:34 taking productivity device that is still
2:37 super portable and still touchcreen so just because you plug this in doesn't
2:41 mean you can't still use the touchcreen as well now what else does it have it
2:46 also has what the heck is this oh right that's for charging it haha so that's
2:51 ASUS's proprietary do connector on the
2:54 front not a whole lot on this side uh
2:57 we've got an SD card slot as as well as a USB port so you also add IO
3:03 functionality to the tablet now the tablet already has a micr SD slot so you
3:07 can ad add add an additional SD card for
3:10 a like whopping on a on even on a 16 gig model so let's say on a 32 gig model and
3:15 you throw a couple 32 gig SD cards which were like 25 bucks each these days for
3:20 50 bucks plus the cost of the tablet you've got whatever 32 gigs * 3 is 96
3:26 gigs of storage on this device I mean
3:29 that's getting up there laptops with ssds that's awesome uh on the bottom you
3:33 got your rubberized grippies not to
3:36 mention right the last but not least part the Transformer keyboard is not
3:41 just a keyboard in IO it is also a battery expansion pack so when you're
3:44 running low on battery you pop it into the bottom piece assuming the bottom
3:48 piece is charged and you can actually run for up to 15 hours on the two of
3:53 them combined if they both have a full charge so that is pretty cool as well I
3:58 think that pretty much cover it now let's have a look or a closer look we
4:03 already took a look but it was a very brief look at the versus sleeve so I
4:08 don't know if it fits it with the keyboard dock but apparently it does
4:12 okay so there you go that's what it looks like with a keyboard dock on
4:17 it however I don't think that is necessarily the intended use what it
4:22 looks like to me is and oh here's how you undock it it's really easy okay to
4:27 me it looks more like see they've got got some like usage scenarios here so
4:32 let's figure out how this works so you store it in
4:35 here okay so that's pretty straightforward looks like
4:39 that okay and then you can also prop it
4:44 up apparently so let's figure out how that works shall we
4:48 aha mhm
4:51 aha mhm
4:56 mhm mhm
5:10 mhm that doesn't seem right wait really
5:13 I think this is how they have it set up like uh it's folded once and then it's
5:18 like holding it like that no
5:21 way see that's how the DI that's how the diagram it's like a oh no no no the
5:25 diagram is a little triangle like that there we go okay yes success
5:30 that is how to do it in sort of one minute or less how to
5:37 how to prop up a tablet on a thing oh you can do it the other way too okay so
5:41 you can also set it up uh oh wait no that's the same way as well okay
5:48 so no there's video config and typing config so you take it out you prop this
5:54 thing into here and then you put
5:57 this there aha now now we're in typing
6:00 config so now you can you have a bit of a aure wrist rest thing while you type
6:05 and then the other solution is putting this into here and now it's propped up
6:08 more for viewing videos yes thank you
