0:16 whatever you want to call it of what may seem at first like the least exceptional
0:21 keyboard ever all right so it comes in a
0:24 box but that's pretty much you know part for the course it's got like bubble wrap
0:28 and you can take it out there's no there's no braided cable no wrist rest
0:32 no real accessories in the Box no detachable cable although they do have
0:36 this cool little feature where you can route it around to one side if you want
0:39 and get it out of the way of your uh your monitor or whatever else it has uh
0:43 no audio pass through no USB hub and
0:46 basically just looks like the most boring thing ever so which you might reply okay lonus why am I even watching
0:50 this why did you even do this well the answer is check out the link in the
0:56 video description labeled pricing and availability and prepare to have your
1:00 eyes fall off yeah or out or whatever
1:03 your eyes do when they fall yes this is a mechanical keyboard that is actually
1:08 less expensive than many fully back lit membrane keyboards and it comes with a
1:14 full backlight in this case blue so now I'm done hating on it let's talk about
1:18 what's good about it first of all they've done nothing stupid with the layout nice standard 104 key layout
1:23 without any shortened shifts or back spaces or anything like that the LED
1:28 backlights are actually pretty darn good you only get four brightness levels so
1:31 you can go all the way down to nothing or all the way up to actually quite
1:35 bright the build quality is much better
1:39 than I was expecting There is almost no flex to this bad boy and I would not
1:43 have pegged this for such an inexpensive mechanical keyboard if someone had just
1:47 handed it to me and asked me to tell them how much I thought that it cost it
1:52 has a Windows key disable key which is sort of in a weird location up at the
1:55 top right but it has one it also has media keys that are handled with a fun
2:00 um you know secondary functionality thing but it does support play pause
2:04 forward back stop volume down up and mute so it's got that functionality on
2:09 board but other than that not a whole lot depending on where you look I think
2:13 on the box it says n key rollover but actually on their site it says 6 to8 key
2:17 rollover so it does support enough rollover that for pretty much any gaming
2:21 combination you're going to not going to have any difficulty and other than that
2:24 what can I say about it it's a better typing experience it's very solidly
2:28 built and it comes in at a very appealing price they' got nice little ergonomic you know risers at the back
2:33 here that actually have rubber tips this is something you don't see that often so it won't slide whether you have it
2:37 laying down flat on the table or if you have it raised and it's available with
2:41 at least three different key switch types so they've got Browns Reds and
2:45 blues available depending on where you look and uh so that means it's
2:50 inexpensive and there's lots of variety just like audible.com head over to
2:54 audible.com Linus to check out their monthly audiobook membership you get a
2:58 credit for one audiobook per month and the first one is free we should have
3:02 like little streamers fall down audiobooks are great for driving for
3:06 listening to when you're performing repetitive tasks or for listening to
3:09 while you fall asleep and they've got all kinds of different audio books but
3:13 the one that Brandon insists I feature is The Wolf of Wall Street by Jordan
3:18 belr you can now listen to an unabridged
3:21 audiobook version it will take about 20 hours but that's not really that much
3:26 time to invest is it wow terrible anyway
3:31 audible.com Linus to learn more and to get your first one for free thank you
