this is probably the weirdest product uh unboxing request that I've ever received
0:06
uh this is for The Cooler Master CLE flow I think they're called the R4
0:11
series fan so I have the blue one as well as the green LED one I'm going to
0:14
start by unboxing the green one although you can see pretty much what it's going
0:18
to look like now and oh looks like this
0:21
packaging is completely sealed they come in h I'm breaking everything they come
0:25
into completely different packages despite the fact that they are the same
0:28
product except a different color and I'm not really sure why that is but
0:32
they do uh but anyway yeah so someone sent a message to my employer of all
0:39
people to ask me to do this unboxing so
0:44
he sort of send he forwards me this email and he's like oh lonus someone
0:47
wants you to do this and I'm like oh okay I mean you could always just send
0:50
me a message on YouTube it's uh a much faster way to get in touch with me but
0:54
either way yeah here you go for whoever requested this unboxing I unboxing the
0:58
fan you can see that it has one 2 3 4 5 6 nine blades and they're kind of a
1:03
unique swept shape I'm guessing that's why it's called sickle flow on the back
1:07
you can see that we've got our three pins for the power ground and RPM
1:11
monitoring and then separately around this side you can see the black and
1:16
green ones that are powering all of the LEDs it's got kind of a unique
1:20
construction it looks like you could almost take this apart and put in different LEDs if you really wanted to
1:25
like they're not just glued in they're actually they have little housings that they sit in okay well here why don't we
1:30
plug it in they run at 2,000 RPM and I'll show you the specs in a minute oh I
1:34
unplugged my power supply no here's a tech tip for you if you
1:40
short out the green and the black pins on your power supply it'll run even
1:44
without plugging it into a computer see it's on so I'll plug my fan in
1:49
here and it is green look at that how
1:53
surprising so it has a black frame uh black clear uh blades that's the word I
1:59
was looking looking for not fins blades and the cameraman's pointing at
2:02
something I have no idea what he wants he wants me to hold it here oh okay let
2:06
me see how quiet it is okay it's about what you would expect for a 2,000 RPM
2:10
fan but it looks pretty cool so I'll leave that there and then I'll work on
2:15
unboxing the other one so this is the Blue version it looks basically the same
2:20
except blue and
2:24
uh there we go oh yeah I should probably
2:27
also show you the specs here cameraman come stare at the specs for me
2:30
okay so uh there they are okay oh I did
2:34
that thing again everyone gives me a hard time about it when I'm in the middle of unboxing and I'd like make
2:39
that weird like you know what maybe I'll just do it
2:43
just to spite
2:49
everybody okay here let's plug in the blue one oh yeah yeah yeah yeah here go
2:52
look at the specs while I plug in the blue
2:57
one so the blue one looks much the same
3:00
except blue I think I like the green one better
3:05
but I always like green better than blue anyway so it's exactly the same fan you
3:09
got your shiny plastic you got your uh shiny LEDs and here you can see it
3:15
blowing the Post-it note no no other angle you can see see it blows the
3:19
Post-it note pretty good so thank you for checking out my
3:23
unboxing of the Corsair R4 series fans and I hope you've enjoyed it don't
3:27
forget to subscribe to lonus techtips and and also don't forget to check out
3:30
my other channel ncixcom
3:33
so this is for a couple of reasons first of all I called these Corsair fans
3:38
they're Cooler Master that was a mistake and second of all I wanted to show them
3:42
together in the dark this is under my desk so I'm kind of camping here and uh
3:48
this is what they look like they look a lot more impressive from the front than
3:51
from the back so I would recommend using them as like an intake fan on your case
3:56
and um yeah those look pretty sweet
4:00
that was it don't forget to subscribe
