0:00 so this is the crisis time demo the GPU test running on the SLI performance
0:06 package version of the Vesta 3050 Series so this one is
0:12 actually $1.99 so it's around $1,200 Canadian dollar uh compared to the other
0:16 one which is around $900 Canadian dollars but you do get some pretty cool
0:20 upgrades for your extra 300 bucks I mean I had people saying oh well that's not a
0:24 very good gaming machine blah blah blah I mean well it's $900 what do you expect
0:28 so for a few hundred more you get uh an i5 760 quadcore you get an additional
0:34 GTX 460 you get an upgraded power supply
0:37 so the actual one on the Builder is is a
0:40 cic 600 wat which is actually is this
0:44 plugged into the power meter right now yeah right now we're pulling 371 Watts
0:47 from the wall so it's more than enough and then you also get an upgrade to a
0:51 1.5 TB hard drive so I want to emphasize
0:55 that this is Crisis running at 1920x 1080 so you can see up here in the
0:59 corner our average FPS is just under 40 and uh
1:04 and we're actually running this with all of the details options maxed out as well
1:09 as 2x anti-aliasing so this is pretty
1:12 much the highest graphical quality that you can get out of
1:15 Crisis and I think that's pretty much everything I wanted to say so I'm just
1:19 going to quit the time
1:23 demo aha there we go and then we can close that close this anyway so if you
1:28 want to find these uh you can either click the link under the YouTube video
1:32 that works or if you go on the NC site you can either go to buy a PC and then
1:37 navigate through NX Fusion to either the
1:40 Vesta I 33050 SLI base so that's the
1:44 basic package which we already showed the performance of the other day and
1:47 then there's also the I5 3050 SLI performance so that's the the $1,200
1:52 package that we're showing right now
1:55 so uh actually you know what I showed 3D Mark for the other one which was around,
1:59 ,000 points and this one scores about 24,000 points so for another few hundred
2:04 bucks you actually get a lot more gaming performance for your dollar uh something
2:08 else to bear in mind we had a lot of people comparing their rigs against what
2:11 we're doing here and saying oh well I've got a quad core but then they would say
2:15 things like oh but I have a 5770 it's like that's great but a 5770 is going to
2:20 get absolutely curb stomped by gtx460 so
2:25 the reason that we took the G that we took a lower-end processor in this case
2:29 a dual core or if you get the performance package of quad core and
2:32 paired it up with a high-end GPU is in games running at HD resolutions or
2:37 higher even you always get more benefit from a premium graphics card than you
2:42 would necessarily from U more cores on your CPU especially with current games
2:47 now if you're moving forward yeah you probably want to have a quad core but if
2:50 you're just thinking in terms of the next couple years a dual core is going to be sufficient for sure anyway this is
2:55 the little uh ad that you can see if you
2:59 navigate to it the other way so that's if you click the little link on the
3:02 right hand side of the page ncpc Vesta 3050 gaming systems you get dropped on
3:07 this page where it actually talks about some of the other cool things for
3:10 example it comes with a free Starcraft 2 trial it comes with a copy of Metro 2033
3:14 it comes with a copy of Just Cause 2 and that's both of the packages come with
3:18 all of those games uh and game Trials cuz Starcraft 2 is a trial it's silent
3:23 so you can I guess you if you wanted to you could click the links here to see
3:27 the other videos we already did and then you can see the Vantage run that we did
3:31 on the base package where it scores about 14,000 points here there's a
3:35 little thing where you can Mouse over and see all of the uh special call out
3:39 features that we're talking about I mean this is mostly about how it's silent and
3:43 how you're getting high gaming performance out of either of these two
3:47 machines for the dollar and then there's a couple other things down here so you can add a 3D Vision bundle so it's
3:52 actually 3D Vision ready with the single card and then it's even 3D Vision
3:55 surround ready if you have two GTX 460s in here so you can see back there you've
4:00 got all four DVI outputs that you would need to run 3D Vision surround and then
4:05 you've got a Logitech gaming bundle if you need a keyboard and mouse and then
4:08 you can also throw Office 2010 on there if you uh had the need for that because
4:12 remember these are for back to school right so you need office because you're
4:16 doing lots of work on your computer that
4:19 is clearly a work computer thanks for checking out my video blog and I hope
4:23 you've enjoyed it oh yeah I should probably also say if
4:27 you actually click on either of these links it takes you to our PC Builder
4:31 where you can make any changes you want so you can pick a different color case
4:34 although the special pricing only applies to the default config so if
4:38 you're going to change anything you probably want to uh you know bear in
4:43 mind that you're going to be paying a little bit more because these are priced very aggressively with the uh the
4:48 components that we've selected so you can upgrade to 8 gigs of RAM you can uh
4:53 you can change to 1 gig series video cards if you want anyway you can play
4:57 around with it get it exactly the way you want it and and then all you have to
5:01 do is check out pretty cool
