0:00 Linus Tech tips coverage of CES 2014 is brought to you by nc.com your source for
0:05 great technology selection and service along with Corsair memory and Western
0:09 Digital we're kicking things off here in The Cooler Master Suite with the elite
0:13 110 so if you've seen their Elite Series cases before then you'll probably have
0:17 some idea what to expect except this one takes the concept of a super super small
0:22 no compromises gaming rig and makes it well super small and really not that
0:28 many compromises so let's have a look at what got in here you can see there's the
0:31 obvious stuff so it takes a mini ITX motherboard so it's usually two dim
0:35 slots and then you're going to have a maximum of One graphics card in a single
0:39 PCI Express 16x slot they've added a full-size ATX power supply so you can
0:44 actually put even quite a long power supply in here and you'll have a fair
0:47 bit of space as long as you don't also have a liquid cooling radiator so
0:51 they've gone with a v550 which more of a normal size power supply and then
0:55 they've actually got room for a single 120 mm liquid cooling radi rator for the
1:00 CPU down below there's also a little bit of space in between them for cable
1:04 management although you wouldn't want to make things too dense in there in order
1:07 to avoid restricting your air flow to the point where it's detrimental to the
1:11 system in terms of Drive mounting options around on the other side we find
1:14 either two 2 and 1 12 in Drive M mounts or a single 3 and 1/2 in Drive Mount
1:19 then there's actually a cage for the top that can support up to an additional two
1:24 2 and 1/2 in ssds now we can see the graphics card in there so this is going
1:28 to be optimized for your your sort of your mini ITX um designed graphics card
1:34 so MSI for example has an upcoming GTX
1:37 760 that is about the same length as a mini ITX motherboard which would be a
1:41 great option for this so are you building you know a dual Titan rig and
1:45 something that's the size of a couple of shoe boxes no but are you putting a very
1:49 reasonable gaming system in here the answer is yes next up we've got the novatouch tkl
1:55 and the way that they are branding this is Japanese
2:00 hybrid electrostatic capacitive switches however anyone worth their salt when it
2:05 comes to keyboard knowledge is going to take a key cap off this bad boy and go
2:09 oh these are Toppers so for those of you who have been begging Cooler Master to
2:13 bring a toer keyboard to Market your answers or your answers have now been
2:18 prayed yes that is the opposite your prayers have now been answered they have
2:23 just this model coming for now although I wouldn't be surprised to see something
2:27 like a full length with a number pad and you know who knows what other kinds of
2:30 options we might see in the future the one really key thing about this that
2:34 stands out to me is the fact that they are customizing the toer key switches to
2:40 make them compatible with Cherry Key caps so if you're really into the whole
2:45 key cap modding scene you've got a particular set of key caps that you like
2:49 and you want to move it onto your new keyboard you want to get topers this is
2:52 going to be a fantastic option for you next up and to round things out we have
2:56 the Alor and the myar so or May Miser
3:00 merer Miser anyway the point is these are two mice that have a very iconic
3:06 shape to them and we're going to get some great footage of these and I would love for you guys to guess under the
3:10 video what mouse you think the ergonomics of these mice most closely
3:15 resembles cuz that might get you pretty
3:19 excited about the shape of them there are two different options of pretty much
3:22 a similar product so they both have rubber rubbery grippy sort of sides
3:27 they're both optimized for Palm or claw depending on how you want to hold it
3:31 whatever you want kind of a hybrid grip and they the main difference between
3:34 them is they have two different sensors so they both got RGB lighting you can change them to whatever you want but the
3:39 Alor has a 4,000 DPI aago 390 sensor so
3:43 that's the one that's pretty well regarded for not having any um
3:46 acceleration issues or anything like that and then for the leite hack Gamers
3:50 actually this one has better rubberized grips than the Alor sorry excuse me uh
3:54 these are these are quite soft and grippy and this one also gets an 8200
3:57 DPI laser sensor so that gives you a
4:01 little bit more compatibility with different surfaces but of course whether
4:04 people prefer Optical or laser is something that is hotly debated and
4:08 definitely not something that is within the scope of this video guys don't miss
4:12 any of our CES 2014 coverage remember our trip to the show is sponsored by
4:16 nc.com your source for great technology selection and service and of course our
4:21 other sponsors are Corsair memory and Western Digital huge thanks to those
4:25 guys as well because without all of them there's no way we'd be able to be here
4:29 bringing you guys this content
