0:00 thank you to dbrand for making our coverage of CES 2017 possible check out
0:03 their awesome skins down below what we have here is the Gigabyte PC that's its
0:09 name it's the GT series Gigabyte PC has
0:12 a 6700k in it which is last gen but that's probably fine if you've seen our
0:16 kbl Lake video it has a 1070 in it although that could be swapped out and
0:20 configurable by the user because it is a full-size card now the power supply in
0:24 the bottom of the unit is 400 wats which should be able to handle what's
0:28 currently in it just fine but if you want to upgrade to say a 1080 TI which
0:32 we have no information about yet at all they do have a solution for you this guy
0:37 it's an extra 135 Watts that can feed right into the motherboard and will free
0:41 up some extra space on the power supply just in case you need to add that to the
0:45 graphics card you'll be completely fine or if you need extra power for Paul I
0:49 mean just plug this in and more power supply space will be freed up for Paul
0:53 on the front of the unit we have two USB 3.1 gen 1 ports a microphone and
0:57 headphone jack and a power button on the back kind of if you remove this side
1:02 panel here you have more ports you have four type a 3.1 gen 1 ports one type-c
1:09 3.1 Gen 2 ports and HDMI to the
1:13 motherboard along with the in connection for this additional power it comes as a
1:18 barebones unit meaning you have no RAM no ssds no NVMe drives no hard drives
1:22 none of that kind of stuff you can upgrade it yourself there's two sodm
1:25 slots and there's at least two 2 and 1/2 in drives and at least least 1 m.2
1:31 spacing but I'm not entirely sure about all those we'll get more information
1:35 later on in terms of cooling as far as I can tell just from feeling around
1:39 there's one spine on the back of the unit that seems to pull in your cool air
1:43 and then these big panels on the top kind of corners and the Very actual top
1:48 and the front of the unit all seem to be exhausting hot air and then last but
1:51 apparently not least if you look at the entire market right now as a whole is
1:55 the RGB LEDs which happen to go in a ring around the top of the unit that
2:00 look pretty cool because they go through this weird meshing which gives them a
2:03 little bit of uh I guess you could say texture just above those you have these
2:07 two panels that like click when you press them so at first I thought they
2:11 were weird buttons for some reason but they're not when the unit gets too hot
2:16 these will pop up and it will allow for even more external venting but I don't
2:21 know if we don't have the driver or something right now we can't actually make it happen so I'm just going to give
2:25 you a representation of what would happen if uh if it was properly set up
2:29 all right guys thanks for for watching let me know what you guys think about the Gigabyte PC down in the comments
2:34 below I just I love the name uh would you prefer this to be a barebones or
2:37 would you prefer it with memory and storage on it I'm a little conflicted
2:41 let me know down below also of course thank you to dbrand
2:45 for bringing us the CES 2017 this year we use their stuff on our phones I have
2:49 one right now I've got the marble skin on my phone we also have them on our
2:53 blades that we got for Christmas they ship worldwide you can use their
2:56 configurator to make your device look like your own device one of my favorite
3:01 ones that we made was this old weird funky looking iPhone anyways check them
3:04 out description down below I'll see you guys next time
