0:07 okay so this is to you guys have been asking me forever for multiplayer
0:12 Battlefield 3 benchmarks and since I suck at video games I'm getting slick to
0:17 handle this for me so he's basically on
0:20 map Firestorm Firestorm thank you and he
0:24 is going to rip along the same path in this Jeep and hope he doesn't die for a
0:29 two minute run he's going to sort of head into some more intensive areas than
0:33 just being out in the desert I hope at some point uh yeah he's heading over to
0:37 like some yeah stuff's going down now see you can see he's going to like smash
0:41 into a car you have to hit that car again next time I hope you know
0:50 that if you can hit the same mine again next time then we're
0:54 okay Slick's trying again he's sort of
0:57 saying that maybe the Jeep wasn't the greatest
1:00 oh no three
1:03 tanks the point of this video is for Battlefield 3 multiplayer users who are
1:09 are want to know whether to get a GTX 660 Ti or what by our Reckoning is the
1:15 most equivalent card the radon HD if I
1:18 can find it 7950 so this guy right here
1:22 so we are just going to be doing a head-to-head showdown of 660 Ti power
1:26 Edition from MSI versus Sapphire 7950 OC
1:31 with the dual fan cooler these are going to be running at their stock overclocked
1:35 settings so we're not overclocking them further but they are going to be running
1:39 at slightly overclocked settings so slick is doing a two-minute run in a
1:43 tank since the Jeep thing didn't work out very well for us in order to give us
1:48 some real gameplay sort
1:52 of uh is that normal under attack under
1:56 attack okay see I haven't played Battlefield
2:00 anything really much at all and he's apparently getting pwned in some way
2:05 maybe he should just do this on foot this time we're going to go in the tank
2:08 for a little bit and then uh Slick's going to get out and just go on foot in
2:13 order to infiltrate the enemy base because we haven't gotten anywhere near
2:17 the enemy base yet we've been in their base apparently the mine was something
2:21 to do with their base he's nodding but I don't believe
2:25 him so fire the cannon like isn't that
2:28 what people do NVIDIA games we're trying to have like gameplay footage
2:32 here or not footage but like you know real world gaming performance of this
2:36 graphics card so we're recording with fraps this is going to be a really long
2:40 video just due to all the epic failures that are in it but uh I don't know
2:44 you're you're probably going to get pwned again here unless you can see see
2:49 you're going to die I'm not going to die you might
2:53 die you're basically dying now no every
2:56 moment you stay alive is one minute closer to death
3:00 okay you killed a guy that's good you got 100 points that's probably more
3:04 points than I have on my Battlefield 3 account so we're going to do two runs
3:07 one with this card one with the other card and we are going to bring you the
3:10 results incidentally this is a very full server so this will give us a realistic
3:14 idea of how our 3930k and these video cards will perform with 16 gigs of RAM
3:19 in Battlefield 3 in a real game if we can ever get the Benchmark done if slick
3:22 can stay alive for two minutes so slick took so long to manage two runs where he
3:27 didn't die that I got food uh if you can
3:31 call that food uh so basically what we concluded is that in Battlefield 3
3:35 multiplayer at 1080p at all Maximum settings Ultra presets is that the GTX
3:41 660 Ti achieves well I don't know if it
3:44 was their goal or I don't know what they were trying to do but at stock speeds it
3:48 comes in and eats the 7950 is lunch
3:52 they're very very close they both had exactly the same minimum FPS in the game
3:57 doing approximately the same run with nice full servers
4:01 and the 660ti is cheaper so there you go
4:05 also you get support for all those NVIDIA Technologies like 3D Vision as
4:08 well as fizx which this game doesn't care about but some of them do such as
4:12 Borderlands 2 or Batman Arkham City or whatever else and I think that pretty
4:16 much wraps up this video so slick do you want to give them a nice good view of
4:19 the graph where you can see the approximately sort of 3% difference in
4:25 performance between the two cards showing you that the 660 Ti is pretty
4:29 much a a beast don't forget to subscribe to L's Tech tips from unboxings reviews
4:33 and other computer videos and
4:37 cross no I'm just kidding it doesn't work like that but what it does work
4:41 like is results for you guys whoops so slick did finally manage
4:46 to get some benchmarks done and what we discovered is that the 7950 and the 660
4:51 Ti are basically neck and neck when it comes to Battlefield 3 Performance so
4:58 there you go thank you for coming along
5:01 with us on this wild ride of learning which one actually performs better in
5:05 multiplayer you know what I didn't do is I didn't compare these results to our
5:09 single player performance because I've had people complaining bitter to me
5:13 bitterly to me that I only Benchmark singleplayer performance and that
5:16 multiplayer is much more demanding and much more different so the
5:20 7950 was within a couple percentage points and
5:25 the 660 Ti looks like was within a
5:29 couple perc so in future I will continue
5:32 to Benchmark Battlefield 3 using single player and you guys will all like it
