0:06 with its Factory tuning and data center DNA an Intel 730 series SSD is an
0:11 amazing choice for gamers and performance enthusiasts all right guys
0:15 so as you know streaming can be hard due to stuff like system overhead and you're
0:19 not only playing a demanding game but you're encoding it and streaming it and
0:23 that's probably not all you're probably playing music programs voice chat
0:27 programs and if you're like me you have a browser with at least a bucket worth
0:31 of tabs open this can be hard on your processor enter OBS with quicksync using
0:36 quicksync instead of x264 will allow you to move your encoding processing off of
0:41 your processor and onto your igpu which is actually still part of your processor
0:46 but when you're normally streaming if you have a graphics card it'll use your processor and your graphics card and
0:51 your igpu just sits there doing a whole lot of nothing being able to utilize
0:54 this part of your processor is going to take some stress off the rest of your
0:58 processor and allow it to do other things performance- wise it's actually
1:01 pretty good but you're going to have to remember that this is called quick sync
1:05 not like looks amazingly beautiful sync it's not going to look quite as good on
1:09 the other end of the stream but it will be easier for you to run so maybe if
1:13 you're pushing some really hard to run game and doing a bunch of other things at the time and it's going to chug on
1:17 the other end if you run Quicks sync if it looks better because it's not lagging
1:22 that's going to be a big benefit but the actual picture quality probably won't be
1:26 as good as something like x264 the requirements aren't too bad
1:29 you're going going need an Intel CPU which should have probably been pretty self-explanatory you should probably
1:34 update your drivers and your BIOS as well and you're going to need OBS as
1:37 that's a software that you have to run to check to make sure that your processor is compatible with quicksync
1:42 you just Google the name of your processor so say 2600k go to the arc.
1:47 Intel.com link and then do a crlf for quick it'll jump right to it and it'll
1:51 say yes or no in a blue highlighted box right beside it pretty straightforward
1:55 at least on a Seuss motherboards how you'll set it up in the BIOS level is to
1:59 press F7 to go into advanced BIOS then go over to
2:04 Advanced jump into Graphics
2:07 configuration go down to CPU Graphics
2:10 multim Monitor and change that to enabled that's all you'll need so after
2:14 doing that just press F10 enter and you're good to go once you're done
2:17 setting up your BIOS you're going to jump into your computer right click on your desktop and click on screen
2:21 resolution then all you have to do is Click detect and find the display that
2:26 is powered by your igpu it'll say Intel Graphics whatever number tell to try to
2:30 connect on VGA anyways uh apply that
2:33 setting before you can actually do anything else jump back to your main Monitor and tell it to extend these
2:38 displays instead of just showing on desktop one after that click keep
2:41 changes and you'll be good to go doing that last step is very important if you
2:45 haven't done that last step properly OBS will allow you to select quick sync but
2:49 it won't actually work and will just spit out an error so to select Quicks
2:53 sync properly just go into OBS and then go into settings go to encoding and then
2:58 change the radio button from X2 64 over to quicksync as long as you're not
3:01 streaming at the time of changing this it'll work perfectly fine the next time
3:05 you start streaming it'll be streaming through quicksync all right guys I think
3:08 this whole setup is pretty cool I like quicksync my biggest problem with
3:11 quicksync is that it's not in enough stuff hate me as much as you will but
3:14 I'm an expit guy not necessarily an OBS guy so I'm not necessarily going to be
3:18 able to take advantage of this comment in the section down below whether you
3:21 like xplit or OBS and while you're down there don't forget to like this video if
3:25 you liked it and subscribe and dislike this video If You disliked it and also
3:29 sub subscribe because whatever we'll make one that you like later if you want
3:32 to get a little bit more of a high-end discussion be sure to jump over on the Forum you guys can talk there if you
3:37 don't like the ads that you see on the Forum you can become a contributor at
3:40 any contributor level you get rid of all the ads so don't worry too much about
3:43 that that'll just be entirely fine if you want a shirt that is not this one
3:47 and no this is not an NVIDIA shirt every single time I wear this I get comments
3:50 on that you can jump to our t-shirts link down in the description below we've
3:54 got some pretty cool stuff there and hopefully some cool stuff coming later
3:57 on thanks a lot for watching this video and I'll see you guys next time
