2:20 electric cars that could produce more CO2 emissions in some provinces now for

2:25 for the Americans out there um our things aren't States no they're

2:30 provinces yep or territories depending on where they are don't worry about that

2:34 too much but certain ones of our like file folder like provinces um they are

2:40 in in some areas they are you just confused everyone that's okay sorry some

2:44 of the areas within our country it might actually produce more CO2 it's a run an

2:49 electric car than a gas powerered car crazy why does make crazy because you

2:53 try to be a good person and you try to take you take this is extra money for a

2:57 lot of people and you try to be a good person to do the right thing you're still not doing the right thing it's

3:01 true although even in those areas it might still be cheaper to fill up your

3:06 car with electricity than gas it might just be more environmentally hurting and

3:11 if you just look at it as you shouldn't buy an electric car

3:16 because you're still going to be producing CO2 emissions that doesn't

3:20 take into account the fact that we are going to run out of fossil fuels yeah

3:24 and we'll talk about that more later with Elon musk's St no no no I'm just

3:27 saying uh we'll talk about that more later with Elon Musk about how it's like

3:31 one of the dumbest experiments Humanity's ever done but we'll get into

3:34 that maybe that'll be our next topic but um the reason why is that a lot of these

3:40 states that are are noted Alberta Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia again for

3:44 people outside of Canada those are just places within Canada

3:48 um they don't they're producing a lot of their electricity by burning coal so the

3:54 act of burning coal is producing huge amounts of CO2 so I don't know how much

3:58 people should even lean towards this because if people buy electric cars and

4:03 then there's a lot of electricity being used because of that I expect these

4:06 places to modernize exactly exactly

4:11 technology in other areas should be coming along with the electric car

4:15 nuclear is a sketchy thing to talk about

4:18 in general but it produces a lot more clean energy although you have

4:22 radioactive waste so I don't know um a

4:25 lot less CO2 producing uh issues I guess

4:29 less CO2 producing we may all glow green

4:33 we might die from radiation some because they're pouring into rivers in some

4:36 areas but there'll be less CO2 yeah so whether that's important or not I don't

4:40 know that's up to debate but uh there there's also other things like the

4:44 thorium reactors that people are looking into and like interesting different

4:47 setups geothermal wind some of these provinces could super definitely take

4:52 care of uh wind energy a lot of crazy wind in some of these areas y um

4:57 especially a lot of these provinces are like Flatland put some freaking

5:00 windmills on that man um anyways this I

5:04 I think while it might be true now I don't know how much I would really push

5:09 people to in other words don't freak out that you're not necessarily doing a good

5:13 thing yeah and it's it's talked in this article which I didn't share at all but

6:46 lately like solar and wind I think the answer is to find a way to use CO2 to

6:51 power things I think there is I don't remember

6:55 they're catching it off of nuclear plants and using it for stuff or something I don't remember it was but

7:00 it's it's not a it's not super effective I think was the problem yes but they can

7:05 work on it yeah yeah yeah for sure uh the reason why I brought up the Germany

7:08 thing was I think if I remember I don't know if this is still true but I think it was like Germany is producing like

7:13 more uh green electricity than like the

7:16 whole states or something they just just it was crazy I don't know if that

9:18 not to hammer on the solo guys there's solo guys that are bigger than we are

9:21 absolutely for sure but yeah it's a very different way of going about things

14:10 and like I understand why they don't know this but a lot of people don't know how Elon will

14:13 talk uh so I think what he means by the

14:17 dumbest isn't like well some dude put 18

14:21 bottle rockets in a toilet and sat on it that's a stupid experiment like I don't

14:25 think he means in that way I think he means like it was kind of dumb and we

14:30 kept doing it and to such a large degree and like I the thing is Elon Musk will

14:35 take in so many bits of information and

14:38 slam them into a small sentence and everyone goes what it happens a lot yeah

14:43 knowing your source and how they talk yeah and I that's I'm like I don't know

14:48 that for a fact but I'm pretty sure how he's encompassing this is in from all

14:52 the different directions of how you could grade a possible experiment

14:55 including overall impact and including like uh economic levels and stability

15:02 and all this kind of stuff like I think he included all these really highbrow

15:06 ways of looking at it but then put it into a sentence with one two three four

15:10 five six words yeah and um I suspect he

15:13 was making that sentence in that way and I can't think of the word that I want to

15:17 like draw you in and have you go what probably now there's some issues with

15:22 this sure he's heavily invested in solar energy as a company called solar cities

15:27 I believe it's called solar cities I could be wrong that one and he's heavily

15:30 invested in solar energy because he has a company called Tesla is it do

15:35 completely no it's it's still an interesting conversation this was on a I

15:40 believe Star Talk radio with Neil degrass Tyson who's freaking awesome

15:45 he's so he's the he's the dude we got a badass over here and he's also like a

15:49 fantastic scientist and I know him because somebody um asked for his book

15:55 for Christmas oh yeah I did so it's great too yes so I had to

17:10 that guy that you talked to forever ago

17:14 was this story were I was really young I just remember like being like that's a

17:21 yeah seven eight nine years old something like that and I was just reading the local paper and it had an

17:26 article in there about a young man who converted his truck into battery power

17:30 and only battery power and I just thought that was the coolest thing ever

17:34 so I did a little investigating we had no Google back then no so I actually

17:38 worked you probably had to like call the newspaper or something yes I must have

17:41 done something like that and we tracked him down and we went to see him and

17:45 looked at his truck and that was a long time ago oh yeah and he was making it

17:51 all the way to Vancouver and back from Langley so he was getting obviously at

17:56 least an hour yeah right he had a he had a he there was a lot of car batteries

18:01 right yes I think it was a lot of strung together car batteries lined up in the

18:04 back of his truck yeah but he had to have that noise maker thing well that's

18:08 interesting because when I was reading this article it it makes a big deal

18:12 about how the car is silent and I'm not sure that's a good idea and that's what

18:16 made me remember going to see this young man in his truck because legally he had

18:21 to rig it somehow that the truck made a noise noise yeah um and when you think

18:26 about it that's a big deal like how many people people uh are now especially

18:31 looking down at their phones and texting and crossing streets and things if

18:34 you've got silent cars this is not a good thing that's another thing though

18:38 is a lot of gas powered cars are getting really quiet too that's true yeah gas

18:42 like petrol diesel Diesel's pretty loud and not just people but what about

18:47 ducklings and animals in general exactly

18:50 yeah it's interesting there's The Pedestrian horn in a lot of cars where it's like a quieter horn but you be like

18:56 right I'm here please move but see when cars make a lot of noise if the driver's

19:01 not paying attention the other person can be paying you know what I mean and

19:06 one thing about a combustible engine is it can often just sound scary yes which

19:11 on the other hand would would our world be better if we didn't have the noise of

19:19 duckins seriously wouldn't that be cute instead of like you hear oh and big semi

21:50 fully unlocked chip they out of names in

21:53 this category don't don't worry about it um so now people are bringing up if

21:57 they're going to release a 980 TI which they shouldn't because it's already a

22:01 fully unlocked chip and usually TI means that it's unlocked but then not always

22:06 because of other TI versions have been

22:09 different ah confusing it can't really be a 990 because that usually means a

22:14 dual GPU card so it can't really be any of those

22:19 they could bring that back the 85 it could be a 985 what about GTX

22:25 sunflowers I don't think why I don't I

22:32 quack that would be great because we have one computer in our house that just

23:12 okay anyway uh any wise anyways it should have 372 Kuda cor 6 GB of memory

23:18 compared to the 12 gigs on a Titan X um same memory bus width of 384 bit and AIC

23:26 Partners like EVGA and ASUS and whatnot will be able to make custom designs for

23:30 it which is huge because if it is the same chip as a Titan X and people will

23:34 be able to have custom power delivery options and custom coolers on it and

23:38 stuff that would be great picture duck

23:42 you you know what there's there's people that can make uh acrylic back plates for

23:47 your graphics card that can have whatever you want on it so you could get you could get uh one of a duck that

23:52 could totally happen um and yeah they could have other Factory overclock

23:55 speeds and stuff because one of the big problems with the Titan X as you guys saw saw in my video on it is it thermal

24:00 throttles like immediately so if you have that same chip maybe at a different

24:04 level of unlock or something less memory whatever this card comes out with it

24:08 wouldn't thermal throttle it might not

24:12 because people might be able to come out with custom cooling solutions for it

24:15 which could be fantastic I don't know that makes me pretty excited I clicked

24:19 on the wrong thing again gers gers I'm still getting used to this

24:25 um I love how my auto auto sensor comes

24:44 are one of the only like super exciting things in computers right now seriously

24:49 CPUs seem to be like

24:57 applications aren't really using them properly like we don't have properly M

25:02 like okay with with a CPU you have cores right so you have an i7 2600 K yep um

25:10 that has four absolutely that has four

25:13 cores and four hyper threads four and four y um so you have kind of eight

25:18 Lanes think of it like a road mhm um but

25:21 a lot of applications are only programmed to use like two to four of

25:25 them so it's a waste so they'll just not use the it's not very well balanced no

25:30 or they'll be like yeah we're going to use core one and two a lot and core

25:34 seven and it's like what yeah know

25:37 spread it out exactly but they're not that good at that yet so it's frustrating so upgrading your CPU like

25:42 crazy often doesn't even help that much memory like a lot of it can be somewhat

25:47 boring and then every single time that a new graphics card comes out it's like

25:51 yeah because graphics cards affect your games a lot like a lot a lot a lot of games lean

25:57 heavily on graphics cards and then even stuff like folding the our folding team

26:00 currently is like number three in the world in terms of active folders and our

26:05 boink team is awesome too we just need you have cheering for

26:09 everything um no I know about these yes

26:13 I'm aware my dad is super hardcore and it's very cool and that's why I have

26:17 computers in my house that make atrocious noise because they're doing

26:21 the folding right cuz that computer's MH

26:27 yeah graphics cards often push a lot more in those fields as well so like and

26:31 if something doesn't look good it takes a lot away from it yeah yeah yeah if

26:36 you're if you're trying to play a game and it's like not even not even gaming

26:41 like everybody watches videos everybody goes on YouTube that will usually be

26:46 more determined by your monitors quality

26:49 so if you have a monitor that's really good has a nice resolution good contrast

26:53 ratio although that's a really sketchy topic uh is an IPS panel like all those

26:58 kind oh okay okay good point that's why you walked by my desk a couple of years

27:02 ago and went that's a crappy Monitor and swapped me a new one yes okay gotcha

27:07 yeah because when I looked at it on the side it was like it's it had what's

27:12 called color shift so like it it looked all the colors were weird and off and

27:16 stuff if you look at it right in front of it it can maybe look fine but when

27:20 you look at it on an angle at all it'll look really garbage so when I walked

27:23 past your computer I was like that looks gross and I got you an

27:29 IPS panel monitor it's very nice yeah speaking of which I need to get your an

27:33 SSD yes she's been having a lot of how fast should loote get me an SSD

41:47 subscriber only chat so only their subscribers can talk and like all these

41:51 like there's a bunch of different benefits potentially for streamers for uh subscribers and I don't don't really

41:58 see the YouTube one doing that they might there's already streaming on

42:03 YouTube yeah it's just kind of crap to be completely honest and like another

42:07 problem with that is it uses your real

42:10 name and stuff like if you want to talk in chat which is always gross although I

42:14 think they're being more lenient about that now I don't know I haven't been saying on top of that they might not be

42:18 doing that anymore but it's just it's the YouTube streaming platform in my

42:22 opinion has never really been as good as twitch is and twitch has super good game

42:26 integration and stuff like I'm sure it's Google they could do something exactly

42:31 they could make things better and they probably will because it's Google so

42:34 they'll figure it out but subscriptions are a super and not YouTube

42:38 subscriptions they're very different twitch level paying subscriptions are

42:42 super important for high-end streamers who want this to be their job yes yes so

42:49 I and like I know YouTube is going to try try to acquire people and like I'm

42:57 already working on little packages let me see Google wants to do it bigger and

43:01 better with major sponsorships and exclusive events that's not too

43:05 surprising and there will be huge opportunities for established streamers

43:08 and organizations soon and I would say that record numbers of Esports viewers

43:13 are only going to grow when Google starts partnering and promoting these

43:17 events I agree with that I I agree that it'll probably grow the huge

43:21 opportunities for established streamers I think people are going to be fairly

43:24 careful about that because because their

43:29 subscribers on Twitch are extremely important and if they're already really

43:33 established on Twitch and already have a huge subscriber

43:36 base it's extremely risky because you're probably going to be picking one or the

43:40 other we have the nice advantage of

43:43 being able to upload our archived videos

43:46 all over the place right we upload them on vessel YouTube uh Facebook Facebook

43:51 gets like 30,000 views every time we upload it we upload them on Daily Motion

43:59 just so that if someone wants to be able to watch a l stick tips video on a platform they can generally the idea but

52:58 drive no we'd have to pay for the service and it would cost huge amounts

53:02 of money or we could have our own off-site server which is more likely at this point right

53:13 not making it available to businesses because businesses will have way more
