0:00 this video from ces 2019 is brought to you by Corsair their new Corsair one is
0:06 bigger better and better than ever before and that sponsor message was actually at
0:11 least 60 lie because the new Corsair one
0:15 which is actually the subject of this video is neither bigger nor better it's
0:19 actually gooder but it is definitely better which is kind of the same thing
0:23 as gooder now i'm not a huge fan of the naming scheme here because they're just
0:26 calling it Corsair one again i actually
0:30 really like george's pitch he apparently liked Corsair deuce as the name for the
0:34 follow-up but there was some internal pushback on that so this is what we've
0:38 got but they're expanding the lineup there's the Corsair one i-140 Corsair
0:42 one i-160 and Corsair one pro i-180 and
0:45 we're gonna start with that one without making it bigger remember they have
0:49 packed 12 processing cores into this thing they've got an rtx 2080 ti 32 gigs
0:55 of quad channel memory m.2 boot drive
0:58 they've got two and a half inch expansion they've got a
1:01 750 watt power supply and they've done
1:05 all of this while not only making it cooler so it's able to run they claim 10
1:10 to 15 degrees cooler on the CPU but also
1:13 making it quieter so the more efficient components along with their completely
1:18 redesigned GPU cooler means that every
1:21 component in here with a fan has a zero RPM mode now which is pretty freaking
1:26 sick so the only thing you would hear when you're idling at the desktop
1:30 is a tiny bit of pump noise now there's a couple of other changes that are more
1:34 obvious from the front they've moved the i o down to the bottom so you don't have
1:38 the cable weight kind of hanging off of your slots anymore it's a little bit
1:41 easier to reach as well on your desk they have added RGB lighting and this is
1:44 across the board for the new Corsair ones and the pro has a silver chassis i
1:49 guess designed to appeal more to the to the workstation user so that's exactly
1:53 how they've got this thing set up because if you're going to have 12 processing cores you're basically into
1:59 budget workstation territory in terms of the performance that you are putting on
2:04 the table now it's also going to come with a high price this guy's uh
2:08 5 000 us dollars but don't worry too much about that for those of you who are
2:12 like there's other Corsair ones
2:16 for you folks there's the Corsair one i-160 so we lose four processing cores
2:21 we go down to a core i9 9900k we go down
2:24 to dual channel memory though still 32 gigs of it the specs of this thing are
2:28 still pretty through the roof including an rtx 2080 ti and we drop down to a 600
2:32 watt power supply for the so for the pure gamers this one's going to make a
2:36 ton more sense because you're giving up uh only really workstation performance
2:41 in heavily multi-threaded applications but you are gaining back 1400 in your
2:46 pocket because this one is just 35.99 compared to 5 000
2:51 now i do want to take this opportunity to point out a couple of the other changes that they made in order to get
2:56 the cooling system of this thing to the point where not only do they not have to
2:59 run that 9900k in any kind of goofy like
3:02 low power small form factor mode but
3:06 even allow it to be overclocked because remember it's a standard mini itx
3:09 motherboard in here one of the things they've done is they've actually opened
3:12 up a lot more perforation on those dual
3:15 radiators that they've got on the right and left side panels so that means more
3:20 cooling more quieter and
3:23 generally nothing better about it whatsoever finally we've got the i-140
3:28 and the only differences here are that we step down to a core i7 90 700k so it
3:32 doesn't have hyper threading compared to the last one and we go from an rtx 2080
3:36 ti to an rtx 2080. it's Corsair so it's
3:40 still loaded for bear when it comes to the solid state storage and still got 32
3:44 gigs of RAM or whatever but i guess that's fine because you are gonna be paying a cool three thousand dollars
3:49 even for the entry-level model so that's it for this video in the Corsair booth
3:54 the funny thing is i think for like this sponsored ces video i'm actually it's
3:59 actually the Corsair one so i guess i could do a recap of the talking points
4:03 but maybe it'd be better for me to just say hey if the Corsair one looks pretty
4:07 cool to you either in black or silver then you should go check out the link in
4:10 the video description because it's available already like starting now this
4:14 is not just some vaporware announcement these things are ready to rock
4:19 so don't miss any of our ces 2019 coverage you guys by making sure you're
