0:00 so today i'll be having a look at and i'll be unboxing the imogen studio mr
0:05 robot oh webcam okay this is a fairly
0:08 unique product and their tagline is see
0:12 and control your camera from anywhere in the world featuring motorized tracking
0:16 okay so basically what that means is that you can use the motorized tracking
0:21 which goes up to 205 degrees horizontally and 140 degrees vertically
0:26 to remotely view including with the iphone
0:30 any video that this webcam is capturing it captures it up to
0:34 1280x1024 video and one of the other
0:37 things that they say is really interesting is that it mounts really easily so you can put it on an lcd
0:42 monitor a laptop an old-school old-school crt is one of the things it
0:46 says on the side i can't figure out where that is oh yeah there old school
0:50 crt monitors awesome you can even mount it next to your cat okay one of the
0:55 other things it does is it automatically tracks your movement and it has
0:59 apparently superior low light performance now we're gonna try the actual webcam
1:03 later but for now we're just gonna have a look at this thing so
1:07 i mean the killer wrap is gonna be that it's motorized right so
1:12 one concern that i had when i first saw it is that yeah you get that motorized
1:18 performance but you also
1:21 have to deal with it being quite large like it's not something you're realistically here's an iphone for
1:26 scales the cameraman's iphone it's not something that you're realistically
1:29 going to be using on a laptop okay so
1:32 let's see what's included here really quickly so you've got an image in
1:36 studios mr robot okay so there's your focus ring your microphone and your
1:39 power led all right that's pretty straightforward this is just an
1:43 instruction guide how to get started install the software connect the camera
1:46 complete the software installation and using cdunk okay cdonk i believe is
1:51 their software okay here we go this is the driver and
1:54 software installation ready for Windows xp or vista and almost anything that
1:57 works on vista is going to work on Windows 7. so it uses a standard usb
2:04 power and data cable here it's actually quite long so you have pretty good
2:09 flexibility in terms of where you'd like to mount it and i guess that's pretty
2:13 much all we can say about it for now you can sort of play around with the
2:18 mounting system a little bit here you can see it's a little loose right now but this is apparently going to adjust
2:22 both up and down as well as side to side and i'm definitely going to have to do a
2:26 video later showing exactly how that works but thank you for checking out the
2:30 imogen studio mr roboto webcam
