0:07 slick and iron agreement on this this is magical this is like more magical than
0:12 the iPad which the late Steve Jobs
0:15 declared to be magical therefore it is magical this is magical this is a
0:20 powerline AV wireless network extender
0:23 an existing inhome powerline network is required for use okay understood the
0:28 plw400 what does it do it easily extends your
0:32 wired and wireless network coverage in your home yes your wired and wireless
0:38 network coverage in your home you know I'm going to go find that okay so if you
0:43 already have one of these where you got like you know your power line like
0:47 somewhere you know this is where where your router is in your modem this is in
0:51 like Johnny's room to power his computer because you know the walls are made of
0:54 lead or the paint is lead or you know you know you really shouldn't use lead
0:57 paint your kids will be like damaged by that okay so Johnny's room is painted
1:02 with lead and wireless doesn't work so we have power line running to there so
1:06 we buy this third adapter which just automatically like syns up with the
1:10 other guys you might have to press the sync button whatever no big deal what
1:14 this does maybe we take this down to like the media room in the basement okay
1:18 so you use the network Jack here to plug
1:22 into okay we'll let we'll just start this looks like trying to look closely
1:26 at the tiny picture on the box it's like why are we doing this we're just going to open it anyway there we go there we
1:31 go so we use the Ethernet port on the bottom to run to like a switch which
1:35 powers like the the media PC and the TV
1:38 with Ethernet and all the gadgets that I'm sure you can all you know have and
1:43 in your media room that everyone has a media room I don't have a medor room but
1:50 um right so that goes there and then because it's in the basement it's far
1:54 away and you use lead paint in your house or for whatever reason you don't
1:57 have good Wireless reception it also extends your wireless network so it's a
2:02 range extender that doesn't have your bandwidth because it's using half of its
2:07 signal to send and half of it signal to receive and it's like bridging these two
2:10 zones this is a range extender that has
2:13 wired essentially as the backbone and then it just has a wireless like it
2:18 creates a little like Wireless extension Hotpot wherever it happens to be so this
2:22 is the most magical thing ever because now instead of going you know trying to
2:27 boost the signal to your antenna or like Buy a wireless extender you just throw
2:31 these all over your house and you'll have like just the most Beast possible
2:36 wireless coverage throughout your entire house just by using little guys like
2:40 this and because Wireless bandwidth is so inconsequential even though these are
2:46 only 200 megabit per second that wired
2:49 connection it's still more than enough for anything you would do wirelessly on
2:52 something like a tablet or a phone or whatever else the case may be we have an
2:56 Ethernet cable that is included we have a setup to CD which you should no I
3:01 don't know go ahead and use it actually Link's stuff is pretty good like it
3:05 doesn't waste a lot of your time and it's pretty straightforward okay package
3:08 contents wire transfer speeds up to 200 it's 2.4 GHz so it's not dual band or
3:13 anything fancy like that but it gives you extended home coverage and it has a
3:16 1000 Ethernet port which is all it really
3:20 needs supports WPS I think that's pretty much it so if
3:25 you guys don't understand yet how magical this is like like Post in the
3:29 comments and let either me or one of the other users to uh like help you
3:35 understand that it's magical because it really is there's a reset switch here
3:38 protection button WPS all your indicator LEDs onoff switch
3:44 and your Ethernet port and the plug that goes into the wall thank you for
