0:05 want a portable power bank Wireless AP SD card and USB reader for your mobile
0:09 devices check the link in the video description to learn more about the ada8
0:13 DH Drive air ae400 now the obvious thing
0:16 the obvious misunderstanding is the Logitech g602 is a followup to the g600
0:21 it is not in fact Brandon was asking me
0:24 before we started so for those of you who don't know Brandon is b-roll
0:28 everyone's decided that they want to use the names now so there you have it so
0:31 Brandon was asking me well okay what's it like how does it compare to that
0:35 other one we have and I kind of went I don't know like I don't know what to say
0:39 because the g602 is so different from
0:43 any other product like what is it is it an FPS Mouse is it an MMO Mouse is it a
0:49 wireless mouse is it a gaming mouse is it this is it that it's a lot of
0:53 different things and I really feel like particularly with logitech's pricing of
0:57 this mouse they've made um a lot of other products in the market from other
1:02 product lines and from their own product line kind of irrelevant um which is both
1:07 a compliment as well as something you know kind of kind of scary because from
1:11 a business perspective you want you know better average sale price you want you
1:15 know better margin you want this you want that and this is a very value
1:19 oriented option that appeal should appeal to almost anyone so without
1:24 further Ado this my friends is the g602
1:30 buckle my shoe anyway uh so it takes their new science winds approach to
1:34 design which means a couple of different things well most importantly very very
1:38 rugged materials so the finish on the top is a slightly textured hard plastic
1:44 finish for the left and right Mouse buttons a rubberized textured finish
1:48 here for the Palm rest and then a more textured matte black that goes all the
1:53 way around the right side of the mouse all the way to the back and then around
1:57 the left side where your thumb rests so this kind of reminds me of their older
2:02 like their really old performance MX or like uh like their really shapely
2:06 Wireless mice a little bit in terms of the shape but much more Sleek more
2:09 streamlined lower more optimized for gaming okay so that the whole idea
2:14 behind science wins is these materials aren't going to wear out the next idea
2:18 behind science wins is other things aren't going to wear out so these buttons here are rated for 20 million
2:23 clicks each which is outstanding the feet on the bottom are rated for 250 km
2:29 of travel and you can tell there's quite a large surface area to them both around
2:33 the outsides of the mouse as well as around the optical sensor yes my friends
2:37 this is an optical Mouse it is a sort of
2:40 closer to $100 than it is to $50 Optical
2:43 mouse that only runs at 2500 DPI and you
2:47 might kind of go oh well I could get a higher DPI Mouse for that money yes you
2:50 could but would you need it this is a return to practicality is the DPI race
2:54 over Logitech g602 says maybe uh which
2:58 is fascinating to me because 500 DPI is more than I've ever used in my life and
3:02 some people do particularly like very high sensitivity but many don't and some
3:07 people are noticing issues particularly with laser mice which the very high DPI
3:12 Mouse tend to be and acceleration issues
3:15 and we shouldn't see any of that although I haven't tried the mouse yet but I'm stoked to turn it on so also
3:20 here on the bottom we're going to find a power switch so you can turn it off or
3:24 you can turn it on but I can't imagine why you'd want to turn it off more on
3:27 that in a moment as well as check that out double a batteries gone are the
3:33 proprietary battery packs and what's even more impressive about this is the
3:36 battery life of this mouse Logitech is quoting
3:40 250 hours if you have both batteries
3:44 installed of continuous gaming in gaming performance
3:49 mode so like if you could actually game for 250 hours straight then you could
3:54 probably drain both batteries you don't have to use both batteries if you want
3:57 to adjust the weight and the weight distribution you can install Just One
4:01 battery either in the right or in the left and you'll get about 125 hours it
4:06 actually says 240 hours on the box 250 on their website so let's just assume
4:10 somewhere in that range and then half of somewhere in that range you can also
4:14 switch it to endurance mode using the switch right here and then you will
4:17 actually get see green and blue uh so in like green endurance mode you can get up
4:21 to 1,400 hours of battery life on a
4:24 single charge so this is a prime candidate for just having a couple
4:29 rechargeable batteries nearby and basically not even worrying about the
4:33 wireless aspect now they've they're claiming that it is gaming grade
4:36 Wireless so no perceivable latency however it should be noted that this
4:40 mouse only does 500 Hertz so 500 reports
4:44 per second we've seen gaming mice that are capable of a th000 but that really
4:48 raises the question can people feel the difference between 500 HZ and a th000
4:53 and um how would that affect battery life and all those other things so is
4:56 this the reasonable trade-off in much the same way that 2500 DPI is I'll let
5:00 you guys be the judge of that because while I haven't used fire higher than
5:04 2500 DPI on a regular basis I do tend to crank my mice up to as high a refresh
5:10 rate as I can so now let's go ahead and have a look at the actual Mouse because
5:14 we've talked a lot about the technology and not a lot about what's on here so it has 11 programmable buttons so you can
5:19 see that there are some very sensibly laid out G keys this is again where I
5:24 find this mouse to be kind of in between FPS and MMO if you look at the layout of
5:28 the buttons on the left there's enough that you could you know get some you
5:32 know to some tool belt or whatever bindings going on in there and there's
5:36 sort of more than you might need for a typical FPS you know if you just need
5:40 push to talk throw grenade melee and that's about it but I I personally think
5:45 there's a really good balance because I can actually reach them all so while an
5:48 MMO Mouse might make might you know you you might want more buttons the reality
5:53 of it is you're not going to be able to tacti feel a lot of them anyway and this
5:57 even with my smaller hands is very comfortable and very reachable which is
6:01 uh which is cool so it's up to you guys whether sort of again the race to more
6:04 actually makes sense or whether it doesn't on the top two more programmable
6:08 buttons up here so these are by default bound to DPI so you have five different
6:12 DPI settings right there 1 2 3 4 five
6:16 works just the same way as many other Logitech mice do but of course you can remap them to macros or other
6:20 functionality or whatever else the case
6:23 may be oh yeah accessories right I guess
6:28 that matters so there's there included wireless dongle which is extremely low
6:31 profile not their universal receiver which can have up to six different
6:35 devices because this is a gaming grade one and then you've also got a little
6:38 extension Dad here so you can plug it into your USB port and then have it sit
6:42 somewhere a little bit closer to your mice if that makes you feel better for
6:46 whatever reason so that's pretty much it
6:49 guys I mean the only thing left is what do you
6:54 oh yeah there's a battery indicator apparently right that would be here of
6:57 course um so the only thing left is what do you guys think what mouse is
7:02 this most similar to what would you compare it to and are you looking real
7:06 closely at the g602 right about now don't forget to subscribe to lus Tech
