0:00 Linus Tech tips coverage of CES 2015 is brought to you by Phantom glass visit
0:04 store. phantom.in screen protectors out there
0:08 as well as hyperx all right guys welcome to the meic suite we're checking out a few
0:12 different mice and some mous pads while we're here but mainly the naos qg which
0:17 is essentially the Neo 7000 but with some upgrades it now has some tracking
0:22 ability for your actions your movement data your heartbeat and even your skin
0:27 response my favorite thing about this is actually that it's running on an open
0:30 API so anyone can actually access this data at any time they even have stuff
0:35 like twitch hooks set up so that if you're streaming a game you can have it
0:38 read your heartbeat and maybe skin response on screen and even people that
0:42 you're playing with can have their data streamed to your computer so you can see
0:46 it as an overlay while you're playing pretty cool because I know a lot of
0:49 YouTubers and game streamers are doing horror games CU they're entertaining to watch imagine you could see someone's
0:54 heart rate while they're playing that game if you're in a little bit more of a
0:57 competitive mindset however you can access the logs of your data in like
1:01 time lapses and stuff like that to figure out exactly how you did during different games there's a lot of
1:05 different applications for this professional FPS players professional
1:08 mobile players to even people like poker players to figure out where their
1:12 heartbeat was spiking during previous games now it is a 16.8 or they told me
1:17 16.7 something something something something million color RGB Mouse so
1:22 just in case you wanted 16.8 million color options you can also do that on
1:26 your mouse but it is set up by default to change color based on your heart rate
1:31 which is kind of actually cool also it has a release date of August so if
1:35 you're looking for it you can pick it up then and there're still working out a
1:38 few different little things like where to place the sensors this isn't really
1:42 going to work out super great for me specifically because I actually claw
1:47 grip pretty much every Mouse I've ever used so having a sensor position for
1:52 someone who's going to claw grip everything aggressively is a little
1:56 weird now if you're palming or doing kind of like a more relaxed CLA grip it
2:01 might not be too bad I've seen two different positions that they've used that are actually pretty good for both
2:04 of those grips so hopefully their final Position will be fairly well optimize
2:08 for most people if you interested in that Mouse you can check out their Kickstarter page which should be in the
2:12 description below but there's also another mouse here called the caster
2:16 which is essentially on the inside the same as a Neo 7000 same as the last one
2:21 it has a 3310 Optical sensor 32bit 32
2:24 mahz ARM processor and has 20 million
2:28 press Armon switches on the left and right clicks that'll be releasing around
2:31 March and is mostly an ergonomics change the only actual change in buttons is
2:36 that is a six button Mouse instead of a seven button M having one less DPI
2:40 switch last but potentially not least if you're in the market for a new mous pad
2:43 is their sargus and aloth M pads their Alo mous pads are new and have really
2:48 nice stitching around the outside and a little bit thicker more premium mouse
2:52 pads their sargus mous pads which have already existed have had a few minor
2:55 changes mainly in the price Department uh they've had a massive price drop in
3:00 some regions up to 50% so the North American region it went from a $20 to a
3:04 $9 Price Market which is pretty sweet if
3:07 you're looking for a new mous pad all right guys thank you for watching this video if you want to see all the rest of
