thank you to Logitech and Discord for sending us here to PAX East 2016 check
0:04
out their stuff in the links in the video description down below all right guys we are at the Logitech Booth one of
0:09
our sponsors that brought us here this year and they don't have any new products but I want to do a video
0:13
anyways cuz they have some pretty badass stuff regardless this is a wall of 160
0:19
keyboards which they have used the 18,400 LEDs of which to make a pixel
0:24
wall that runs at 30 FPS right now it's
0:27
just playing back a video in the future they're planning on running like old NES
0:31
games and stuff off of it it's pretty sweet they're actual keyboards you can
0:35
type on them I did ask however that I don't see how they're going to get 160
0:39
keyboards usbd into a system so I was like how are you actually doing this
0:43
they are all networked together with individual IPS and work through a
0:47
network mesh to recreate the video they couldn't use any pre-existing software
0:52
to do this because there's no proper grid for the pixels to line up on
0:55
because as you probably know on a keyboard your keys are on like angles
0:59
and stuff they're not in a perfect grid so they tried some pre-existing software
1:02
it ran at like 4 FPS they had to write their own stuff this wall is awesome
1:07
today here at the show if you come check it out it's not going to be playing video games it's just going to be
1:11
playing a video but maybe at like E3 and other events in the future you'll be
1:14
able to play a game on it pretty freaking cool next up is one of my
1:17
favorite things in science and that is the blind taste test so this is two g900
1:22
both of which look like they are wired into the computer one is actually going
1:26
to a wireless transmitter which then goes into the computer and the other one
1:29
is plugged directly in and you have to try to figure out which one it is I I I
1:34
love this kind of stuff because on the g900 video from Switzerland and the g900
1:39
video from back home everyone's kind of guessing if it's actually true is
1:42
Wireless actually finally just as fast or faster than wired and now you get to
1:47
try it yourself because I would be skeptical too and skepticism is a good
1:50
thing speaking of skepticism being a good thing if you watched my testing
1:54
video from Switzerland and didn't quite believe it come down to Logitech Booth
1:57
try the click latency test yourself they have have a Razer Death Adder chroma and
2:01
the g900 lined up beside each other the chroma is wired into the computer the
2:05
g900 is Wireless you can try the whole click latency set up all on your own all
2:10
right guys thanks for watching don't forget to check out Logitech click in the video description down below to see
