0:00 ASUS has unveiled the new hardware networking ecosystem that works with an
0:04 app that will enable you to optimize your signal strength and performance
0:08 stay tuned to find out how thanks to Squarespace for sending us here to CES
0:11 2016 if you want to check them out their link is in the description down below
0:15 the app was developed in partnership with Cloud check which enables you to
0:18 kind of walk around your house with a phone or tablet checking signal strength
0:22 along the way it sends numbers and data back to ASUS where they crunch that
0:26 information and input real-time data back to you which is actually super
0:30 handy you can make decisions off of that whether you need to just move things
0:33 around your house or add a repeater here or there or whatever this can help
0:36 people like Dennis who has crazy signal problems all throughout his house and
0:40 it's weird and confusing and this would probably solve his problem outside of
0:44 that there's the ASUS router app which has real-time traffic visualization
0:47 packet prioritization Diagnostics easy firmware upgrades and they're what the
0:52 fast Suite of software stuff which helps you identify problems and prioritize
0:56 things along the way one of the cool things about the Diagnostics part of that is that it's flexible diagnostic so
1:01 you can decide what you want to troubleshoot and win so if you want to see if it's on the ISP side of things
1:06 you can diagnose just your modem that's something that I would definitely take
1:10 advantage of speaking of modems the next product is the ASUS cm32 which includes
1:15 a modem in its router package which is actually relatively interesting speaking
1:18 of being able to diagnose one thing at a time it has Mo mimo which is multi-user
1:24 mimo which is quite cool a 4x4 array it's wireless AC with a peak speed of
1:28 over 2.5 g abits which is why it is also
1:32 called an ac2600 it's certified for a 5,000 ft house but it does have an MSRP
1:37 of 299 that 5,000 ft isn't enough there's
1:42 the RP ac68u which is a Wi-Fi repeater or more
1:47 accurately in my opinion a Media Bridge it has 5 GB Ethernet ports a USB 3.0
1:51 Port which has lower overhead so it's able to act faster which is cool because
1:55 you can plug in like an external hard drive or a USB drive or whatever and it
1:58 will act as a Nas next up we have the RP
2:01 ac66 repeaters and you might be wondering why I keep on talking about
2:04 repeaters that might not seem like the most exciting thing ever but they
2:08 feature seamless transfer which is kind of the most exciting thing ever uh what
2:12 that enables you to do is you know how when you're at someone's house and they
2:16 have Wi-Fi repeaters and you have to switch which one you're on manually and
2:19 it's really annoying cuz sometimes you might be on one bar of connection to one
2:22 of them but it's not switching you to the other one cuz you have to do it and it's frustrating and annoying it pisses
2:26 you off but then you go to a school or like an airport or a hotel and it
2:30 transfers seamlessly and it's all nice and stuff now you're able to do that at
2:33 your house that's actually really sick and if that ease of use wasn't enough
2:37 for you they also have their wall plug built into the unit so you can very
2:40 easily just plug it in or even just plug a power extension to that if you decide
2:44 that isn't exactly what you want it to do but I don't know it's pretty simple
2:47 to me anyways thank you for checking out our ASUS networking content at CES thank
2:52 you to Squarespace for sending us here this year check out Squarespace if you want to make a website for I don't know
2:56 maybe a company that sets up networking for people you can set up seamless
3:00 connections and seem like a badass by just using as Su stuff I don't know it
3:03 works it's cool you can use their template engine engine to create a
3:06 website that looks super slick and you can even use a cover page thing if now
3:10 you need a job because ASUS just took yours from you because their networking
3:13 is too easy I don't know whatever works for you that's fine squarespace.com
3:17 Linus use offer code Linus to get 10% off Squarespace build it beautiful
