0:01 okay welcome to the W show for real
0:06 suckas at least that's what we think the USB controller show um the the USB
0:11 controller show okay okay so let's just let's just power through the intro here
0:17 uh AT&T shuts down their 2G network Trump singles.com make dating great
0:22 again Nintendo signals the end for the
0:25 Wii U and Gabe new confirms new IP in
0:30 halflife portal Universe I'm going to recycle the joke from last time IPv6
0:33 what are you pointing at everything you say is getting compressed everything I
0:36 say is getting compressed no no no this is uh maybe a little bit yeah I'm really
0:39 loud hey wait wait let me talk for a sec don't don't say anything okay yeah uh
0:45 okay yeah I do too also I think I have this a little closer than we did when we
0:48 were setting it up so cuz we I don't think we want literally everything we say to be compressed yeah that's fine we
0:53 can fine-tune that the main problem that we had with the audio before on the show
0:57 was that we didn't have everything configured correctly so that the
1:01 compressor settings would work now they will and I can I can walk you through it
1:06 all uh later but in the meantime well I think I sort of get it remember when I
1:10 like a month or two ago when I was like I don't think that's how that works yeah but you won't know which dials are what
1:15 so I'll just walk you through how the how the control the control command
1:19 station Works um let's go ahead and roll
1:22 the intro that doesn't have sound maybe we'll use this opportunity
1:27 to explain uh why were having audio
1:31 cutouts so guys I feel like we should do
1:34 a proper like once the intro's done thing you want to do it after the
1:37 intro's done all right CU like it's kind of cool let's do it after the intro done
1:41 okay I've got a lot of people asking me to finish the vasectomy story I'm
1:45 actually really surprised I um I really thought people were it's also
1:49 interesting not going to be that interested in that okay um yeah fine
1:55 okay so um well okay remember this is going up to YouTube so you should start
1:58 from the beginning okay okay I'll start from the beginning so uh I don't want to
2:02 have any more kids and there is actually
2:06 a lot like any medical procedure or medication there's a lot of information
2:11 and there's a lot of it's hard to research there's a lot of misinformation like there's people out
2:17 there that are just like okay so are you're neutered then like you'll have no
2:22 sex drive you'll have no hormones um but
2:26 actually it doesn't affect that stuff at all um all it does is cut off the supply
2:32 of actual sperm cells to the rest of the
2:36 and I'm I'm I'm just going to have to like use you know queasy words here you
2:40 guys because it's all about those are queasy words like off the Internet it's
2:43 all about it's all about clear communication okay so there's a lot more than just sperm in male ejaculate so you
2:50 know all of that uh all all the the man juices are still very much flowing how
2:55 you go from like proper medical terms to man juices well I I did call it
3:00 ejaculate and then man juices but see remember ejaculate would also normally
3:05 contain sperm whereas man juices are just the juices so so now the only thing
3:09 that has changed is he now has spermless yes ejaculate yes and you
3:14 absorb it back reabsorb the sperm cells so effectively my body just got more
3:19 efficient yeah you're less wasteful so
3:23 you're better recycling plant yeah that's right so so basically you get in
3:28 and um it was really weird because I didn't know best start to a w show ever
3:35 I I know for a lot of a lot of women
3:38 they prefer to have a female nurse or female doctor do like pelvic exams
3:43 papsmear all that kind of stuff but for me I um okay it it turned out to be a
3:49 female like nurse and Preparatory crew and a male doctor so whichever one made
3:54 me uncomfortable I was I was going to I was going to have that experience one
3:59 way or the other um but honestly like once I got there it
4:03 was just so umal like yeah like I'm
4:07 probably not the only person ever who's been like you know what if I pop a boner
4:11 on the operating table wouldn't that be awkward let me tell you there is
4:14 absolutely nothing there's nothing
4:17 exciting about this experience they're
4:22 like they're like okay um you know drop
4:25 trout yeah stand stand on the stool drop trout I'm like like everything they're
4:29 like yep okay but like get up on the table um
4:35 the the little kit says to to shave uh the area and I tried but
4:41 apparently I didn't do a good enough job so they fixed that for me okay
4:47 uh so there's that then they just like
4:50 iodine you up and then what had to be
4:53 the most awkward part of the whole experience like more Awkward than
5:01 and I'm going to try not to get too gory on this but like more Awkward than the
5:06 like 70 cm long string that was being
5:11 pulled through something and like kind of kind of
5:15 tightened okay so more Awkward than that the most awkward part of the experience
5:21 is the like it looks like just rubber bands tied together like like like on a
5:26 clipboard to hold a pen in place so they have like one of those
5:30 and they're just like okay so we're just going to tie this around your penis and
5:33 then they have a uh like to to hold it out of the way and then they have like a
5:37 safety pin and they just like clip it to your
5:42 shirt so it's like if you were to it's
5:45 like if you were to need to defy gravity for some reason heard this story and
5:49 it's still awesome you just like had to have like a like a like a penis
5:52 retention mechanism that holds it up
5:57 um and I'm just like okay sure that's fine I
6:01 guess so then they just kind of they they they leave you there for a little
6:04 bit and then the place that I went they just leave you there for a little bit
6:08 all pinned up while I wait for the doctor yeah because like the doctor's
6:11 time is very important this is crazy okay so the guy comes in he's in the
6:15 room with me for like six minutes okay and I'm like how many of these do you do
6:19 a do a day and he's like 50 I'm like what excuse me 5 Z 50 50 vasectomies in
6:27 a day holy crap crap
6:32 right wow okay um so like they got this
6:36 down to a freaking science man so he
6:40 comes in and they're like they describe the numbing process as like being
6:45 flicked in the balls with a rubber band and I'm like wow great sales pitch cuz
6:51 that sounds sounds horrible sounds terrible it actually feels nothing like
6:57 that okay um the bad news is that it
7:00 feels more like you know when they put the topical numbing in your mouth and
7:04 then they they're like you're not going to feel a thing and they inject you with
7:07 the real numbing and you're like I can definitely tell there's
7:12 like I can feel a thing yeah and it's like it's not pain but it's really
7:18 uncomfortable yes yeah so as for the
7:21 actual procedure I I didn't watch they actually had a mirror in the corner of
7:26 the room and I was just like I'm not
7:29 looking looking at that mirror fortunately they also had a TV with
7:32 sports yeah there you go on the ceiling
7:36 so I was like you know this is very similar to the world's most comfortable
7:40 gaming setup other than that someone's digging around in my spaghetti bag with
7:45 like oh man tools yeah yeah um I feel
7:49 like I I'd almost want to like record the mirror and not look at it at the
7:52 time oh Lordy know I'd want to like I'd be interested just for like educational
7:56 purposes like what goes through the procedure but like I don't want to
8:00 speaking of educational purposes they wanted to bring in a bunch of students
8:04 and I was just like you know bunch of college kids young you
8:10 know Savvy the odds of some I don't need
8:14 I don't need alius tech tips viewer like
8:18 witnessing your balls being cut open yeah I I just I don't need that
8:22 experience in my life it was bad enough that his partner so there's actually two
8:26 visectomy doctors that run this Clinic together so his partner called me up for
8:30 my morning consult and was like at the end of it
8:35 where he's like yeah how many kids do you have and blah blah blah all this stuff and he's like okay yes you're good
8:40 candidate Etc at the end of it he's like so are you going to make a video about
8:43 it and I'm
8:47 like terrible terrible nothing against
8:51 the guy professionally I'm sure he's a great vasectomy doctor but um that's
8:56 funny but that's like I'm glad that I specifically requested the other doctor
9:01 in the first place cuz like I'd have hated for my name to come across and be
9:06 like oh yeah I watch that guy's videos I'll do that but then maybe the flip
9:11 side is would a fan of the channel be
9:15 extra
9:18 careful oh my God or they're
9:22 like yeah I don't think you should have won scrapyard War
9:31 it's like or like what if they were like cuz like we've had like really like
9:35 creepily like into US fans before what
9:39 if they were like you know I want to preserve more of your genetic material
9:43 I'm going to screw it up like you know what it's it's funny like obviously
9:46 that's ridiculous right but you hear about crazier stuff in the news yeah you
9:52 hear about like like dentists who aren't licensed at all who have been practicing
9:57 in I think it was bernabe for like 15 years and praying on like new immigrants
10:02 who don't speak English and just like practicing Dentistry out of their house
10:06 and it the whole thing's just like horrifying and there's like there's like
10:09 you know no um um wow words are failing
10:14 me here but um not actually sure sterilization of the tools and like like
10:19 just just insanity this is a very very reputable
10:23 Clinic um you know 50 vasectomies a day
10:27 you know and they're rating on um like
10:31 Google is like four stars wow which like
10:34 for me to rate someone four to five stars for cutting open my balls I better
10:38 be having a great experience that better be some fantastic
10:44 customer service comes of the mint at the end um do they give you
10:49 like no they gave me a big bag of Tylenol okay if they had Tylenol mints
10:59 that would be the next level yeah yeah four stars would do again exactly my
11:04 friends oh my god um second topic are
11:07 you ready yeah yeah we can go into other topics but hold on a second hold on a
11:11 second someone's like I mean h how how
11:15 TMI do we want to get someone's like just use a condom it's like that's not
11:19 they suck yeah there that's all that's
11:22 all I have to say about that it's like if I'm in a monogamous relationship
11:26 where there's no concerns about CDs then
11:30 like you know what F condoms
11:35 man that is like that but you went the
11:38 right route in order to say that yes
11:41 don't don't just say that if you don't get the appreciation yes if you want to
11:45 be able to say that go get the operation done yeah with that said I I am a strong
11:49 believer that many many men think that
11:54 they definitely don't want kids when they're young and can easily change
11:57 their mind later on in their lives I went the other way around I wanted four
12:01 to five and now I'm like super pleased
12:05 with three and definitely don't want
12:08 anymore I'm a hold out I'm I'm I'm 26
12:12 now for those wondering and I still don't want kids lots of guys decide they
12:16 want kids at like 40 yeah and it's like
12:20 it's like a revelation and they're just like oh and so you know don't do it just
12:26 because you don't want to wear a condom that's not a good reason kids
12:29 um do it because you're very sure you never ever ever ever ever want to
12:34 impregnate anyone ever again um and as
12:37 annoying as the like being someone who has always said for eternity that they
12:42 don't want kids as annoying as it is having everyone be like well you're
12:45 going to be older and your mind might change um it's a it's a pretty serious
12:50 surgery so yeah I would be careful that
12:53 one next topic yeah yeah let's uh okay so wait I need you to do a thing oh I
12:58 got to do a thing yes you got to look something up look up the Hot Wheels
13:01 computer the Hot Wheels computer yes you
13:05 seen this actually okay before we do this yeah and I believe I have seen it
13:09 this yeah this one right yeah okay so before we do that I want to explain the
13:13 audio cutout issues because I think yes sorry yeah our viewers deserve an
13:18 explanation and so does Focus right so Focus right came by this week and they
13:23 got us hooked the math up on our audio
13:28 gear we're going to have a full full video of like redoing the W show setup
13:31 in the next little bit here where we go through all the stuff that they set us
13:35 up with but basically we've got this uh epm6 mixer that will allow us to take
13:41 any audio Source like we could just grab a phone boom we've got a slider for it
13:45 so we can take any audio Source in now just analog audio in fantastic uh they
13:50 hooked us up with a headamp 6 Pro for monitoring the stream in real time um
13:56 which would be great you know if and when we decide to expand and get more
13:59 guests or whatever the case may be if Luke and I each want to monitor separately um if we want to monitor
14:04 separately at different levels because we have different headphones freaking
14:07 fantastic uh they hooked up our dbx uh it's a 166 XS compressor so that's
14:13 working now we still got to do some fine tuning but um they've got it set up and
14:17 like they've created a guide for me so I can make sure I can do it correctly and
14:21 they hooked us up with their 18i 20 uh
14:24 Scarlet audio interface so that we have a gorgeous preamp on the se4 4400a
14:30 microphone that they also hooked us up with like these guys came in brought us
14:34 all the gear and set it up for us and we had a bunch of audio cutouts on the show
14:38 today that is not their fault it appears
14:42 to have been related to having multiple capture cards running on the same USB
14:47 controller on the motherboard throwing an additional PCIe USB controller in
14:51 there and splitting the capture cards between the two of them has resolved the
14:56 issue and for those of you saying hey the audio is still not as good on the
14:59 show as it could be we're aware of that and we've we've talked to focus right
15:03 about it and we're going to look into getting some um there's stuff called
15:07 ultr touch that is like a denim it's a cotton-based batting that um from my
15:12 discussions with uh silent Mike the chin over at silent PC review is the bomb as
15:18 far as uh reducing those Echoes and
15:21 while still having it sound really natural so we want to get a cloud above us we want to get a couple of those in
15:26 front of us break up some of the standing waves in here and we are going to take to the next level but for now we
15:31 have a reliable setup and there's no
15:34 reason for you guys to deal with that screechy peeking anymore because our
15:38 compressor is finally working yeah most people don't host shows in like a
15:42 warehouse yeah um what yeah you need him oh you
15:48 need me for something uh okay Ed needs to borrow me so that's okay because uh
15:53 you could you got your uh your Hot Wheels computer well no I wanted to show
15:57 this is oh you want to discuss it yeah oh okay um things to say okay maybe do
16:02 uh maybe do do another Topic in the meantime I'll be right back I'm assuming
16:06 what he needs is very important I hope so oh okay I'm good this is going to
16:10 take a moment don't go too quickly yeah I'm good it's okay okay so topic line
16:18 screen there we go Nintendo signals end
16:21 for Wii U might seem a little early considering they haven't even released
16:26 their new console yet and you would be right it is rather early
16:30 apparently uh Reggie you guys know Reggie Nintendo America guy has told
16:35 polygon that Legend of Zelda breath of the wild would be the last game that the
16:39 company is releasing on the Wii U and he
16:43 is very specifically said we really are at the end of life for wi
16:50 U that's pretty much the entire topic but that's kind of ridiculous it's it's
16:56 literally like the the end has been signaled
16:59 and the switch isn't even out yet Mario
17:03 Kart 8 was wi use bestselling game 8 million copies sold you didn't do that
17:10 amazing oh Nintendo that being said the
17:14 end of life thing is only being quoted
17:17 for Nintendo games but Nintendo games
17:22 are pretty much the only thing that
17:25 matters in terms of like really large selling titles on the Nintendo platform
17:30 so I don't know I'm really excited for people to watch
17:35 this I kind of want to go get my ice pack before I sit down you I would get
17:40 someone else to get your ice pack uh H okay yeah fine uh I mean I kind of
17:48 have to put it on in private anyway but oh yeah okay
17:55 ice than is it weird like getting someone to grab a nice pack that you
17:59 like has been it hasn't no skin to skin
18:02 skin skin contact okay okay it's also probably very
18:06 clean uh do you want to grab it for him there we
18:11 go anyways lonus will be here in a well you got to remember yeah that's okay
18:16 I'll just you do it behind the
18:24 chair this is awesome okay the next
18:27 topic that we will be funny thing funny thing I was like so
18:31 what about stairs and they're like oh your house has stairs and I'm just like
18:36 what how am I supposed to do
18:40 anything yeah my house has
18:46 stairs and they give you like a jock strap but without a cup to uh kind of uh
18:53 lift support and separate kind of thing mhm
18:56 mhm okay that is cold
19:00 that is cold some cold relief right there okay oh hold on I just got
19:06 to okay just getting down here yep so here
19:12 one second okay we need to I'm having fun hope everybody's having fun can I do
19:16 this yeah go for it okay okay ah yes the
19:20 good old Hot Wheels PC yeah so I can't
19:23 claim complete credit for this someone sent this to me on my stream thing and
19:27 was like you should do a mod like this and I took that very
19:33 literally instead of as a joke and have been trying to figure out some way that
19:37 I could do a modern version of the Hot Wheels PC for a little while now and
19:43 decided eventually like you know what maybe I should just sit Colton on it so
19:47 Colton just messaged Hot Wheels
19:50 seriously and the YouTube Partner of
19:54 Mattel messaged back and was like hey cool yeah we should get on a call no so
20:00 we might legit be making Like An approved like Hot Wheels is in on it
20:05 with us no way
20:08 mod like like this but for like a modern
20:11 computer so I'll get like a modern keyboard that and like de it out like
20:15 that ba yeah that would be absolutely
20:19 bananas and now now that they're in on it I'm going to try to do like the
20:22 racing wheel and like yeah the mouse pad
20:26 and the speakers we could probably get like guys like dbrand involved we could
20:30 probably get um oh who do we know I don't you know what I wonder if like
20:35 neighbor Steve would help us out with some of the Flames oh my God probably so
20:39 he'd like he could like paint it properly yeah like I'm I'm thinking like
20:44 sky's the limit for a project like this I want to make it like super awesome
20:48 that's sick should we still have a CRT just for fun I don't think so okay
20:54 because I think cuz I think the idea should be like this is a pretty wicked
20:57 like mod Hot Wheels kind of deal I'm down what we
21:03 should try to do though is if we can we should try and get the original tower
21:08 chassis I think that's going to be n impossible you think so and again that
21:13 wouldn't be a modern thing it has like a floppy Drive area no it does it yeah but
21:18 we could no we could modernize it modernize so we could use so um there
21:23 was a really cool mod on the Forum not a moderator a really cool like computer
21:27 mod on the Forum all the on the where a guy built a um an SD card reader where
21:33 you load your SD card into a floppy disette and pop it into a floppy drive
21:37 that was modified to read SD cards that's pretty cool so like we could but
21:43 ah I want to make it like I don't want to just like recreate the old thing I
21:46 want to make a cool new thing okay all right straw pull straw pull straw P
21:50 straw pull yeah we got to straw pull that of course we got to straw pull that
21:55 let the people decide let yeah we're
21:58 giving the decision back to you the people yeah um sorry that I don't
22:03 remember who recommended it on my thing this was like many months ago and it's
22:08 just coming to fruition now all right okay getting the old
22:12 chassis you're you're talking uh old school versus new new school I think is
22:17 like what's going
22:20 on okay there we go so I've got what chassis old One modded or create
22:24 something new and getting the old one like might not even be possible so we
22:28 just have have to keep that in mind so even if you guys do vote for the old one
22:31 we might have to go with a new one just cuz it's like literally not a thing
22:34 twitch chat's like build a fomy PC it's that's just like it's half a PC
22:39 it's a PC without the without without the potency no Venom you have two
22:44 separate water cooling Loops one is white one is
22:48 red and what the white one just goes
22:51 nowhere well yeah you still it's just not it gets reabsorbed there just well
22:57 there isn't there just isn't like like 3D particles inside of it right lordy
23:02 it's a clean Loop yeah okay John's like
23:07 no h okay so overwhelmingly twitch chat
23:12 is like they're with you okay they're with you on this I clearly lost um so
23:17 there you go and like one thing I'm wondering about too is like you want to go to Hot Wheels website real quick
23:21 which I don't even like I'm assuming they have one they must have one yeah of
23:25 course they have one hot wheels.com NCA yeah
23:29 wow whoa there you go okay so they still
23:32 have like the Flames kind of brand so their branding hasn't really changed and
23:36 it's still blue and yellow and red yep okay so I was wondering if we would have
23:40 to like change the design but I think the general design can stay the same but
23:43 we just do it with modern stuff those are some actually pretty cool looking
23:47 Super Mario Co I like how they still have the mustache Hot Wheels yeah that's
23:51 awesome okay anyway this is not a uh this is not like a sponsored by Hot
23:55 Wheel stream we're just excited to uh to be working with them that's pretty cool
23:58 but yeah I think that's going to be pretty wicked it's going to be a little hard for certain components like the
24:01 monitor cuz the CRT has way more bezel
24:04 to play with um but I think I can make the back look really cool yeah that we
24:09 could probably find something with like a cool stand that lends itself well to
24:14 yeah to modification like I think we can find a way to work work with it like I
24:18 think if we just go hardcore with like try to stay true to the original idea
24:22 instead of like the exact layout of the original one then I think it'll be good
24:26 I still do have to check like if you can get a Hot Wheels PC on you I can't
24:30 imagine they sold a ton of them Hot
24:33 Wheels PC um oh it's going to be a lot of Hot
24:38 Wheel PC games okay micro Racers yeah
24:44 they say computer in them or do they just say PC because you could try Hot
24:47 Wheels computer sure or Hot Wheels desktop computer or something um well
24:52 here we've got categories no toys and hobbies video games and
24:57 consoles uh
25:00 yikes oops zero results for Hot Wheels
25:04 computer okay all right well that's fine
25:08 I'm over it I'm over it yeah no problem
25:12 okay uh speaking of things that I'm
25:16 over two what oh did you find one $500 someone
25:22 found one 500 bucks that's not even that bad someone was it whipped by on Twitch
25:26 chat a few people people have posted it
25:30 I'm trying to I'm trying to oh were you onca oh possibly look at that dude Hot
25:35 Wheels desktop computer system monitor
25:39 speaker steering wheel keyboard I wonder if this thing
25:42 works that would be a really cool prop for the video but it would cost 500
25:46 freaking dollars the auction is for and
25:49 floppies if you have questions feel free to message me everything has been tested
25:53 to the point of powering ontop monitor with base base needs to be
25:57 repaired original floppy disc for 93 Camaro and rigger
26:01 motor oh wow Hot Wheels interactive
26:05 tattoo designer hell yeah wow all right
26:09 so there you go you can apparently buy one and if uh if our previous experience
26:15 trying to buy something on the W show is anything to go buy by the time I refresh
26:20 this page someone will have already bought it it's gone yeah 11 watching 11
26:25 watching Four viewed per hour at thing's
26:28 hot folks It's Hot
26:32 Wheels this guy had no traffic on this thing at all for months and then it's
26:36 all of a sudden it's like whoa that's the wow effect my friends
26:41 yeah all right so AT&T shuts down their
26:45 2G network they announced yesterday that
26:49 the 2G wireless network will was officially shut down on January 1st
26:54 2017 after 4 years of planning for its
26:57 discontin continuation um so what that means is
27:01 that the original iPhone will no longer receive cellular service from the AT&T
27:06 network effectively shutting it down so if anyone was still using the original
27:13 iPhone which I sincerely hope they were
27:17 not um then your I find it interesting
27:20 that their first sales note for the iPhone was a widescreen iPod not that it
27:26 was a revolutionary phone
27:30 yeah that is interesting breakthrough
27:34 internet device high technology high technology high technology is that like
27:39 a laser or something I think so I think it's a laser I don't think it had laser
27:42 beams I feel like we would have made fun of it for having high technology if we
27:47 were doing wow way back then it's funny though because like they would have had
27:51 to have such a simple message behind it
27:55 in order to have anyone have a chance of understanding what it was that actually
27:58 makes sense CU nowadays like how do you describe something kind of like an
28:01 iPhone but whatever like how do you describe a phone yeah or or maybe not
28:07 today because now there are other good phones but back yeah yeah yeah yeah
28:13 interesting um so there's not really much else to say about that they're just
28:17 looking to free up some more Spectrum for future Network Technologies
28:20 including 5G and I guess that's yeah
28:23 really all there is to it this is awesome so they were talking about this
28:28 on my favorite um morning Sports show
28:31 cuz the time that I'm driving into work is actually when they do a segment
28:34 called crossover where the morning hosts
28:37 and the uh the brunch hosts like the lunch hour hosts are overlapping in the
28:43 studio for 30 minutes and they almost never talk about sports it's always just
28:47 like a bunch of kind of jocks Brewing out about ridiculous nonsense yeah so
28:53 they were talking about the Trump singles.com website
28:58 that promises to make dating great again
29:01 uh so the site experienced a membership
29:05 Spike um apparently they've racked up around
29:08 24,000 members since the official launch
29:12 in June and David Goss the site's founder told Fox News this is fantastic
29:17 that membership jumped by about 5,000 after Donald Trump's shock election
29:21 victory in November with another wave of new members that just signed up so the
29:27 basic premise of the site is that
29:32 um he Goss was upset about the
29:35 divisiveness of the election season and
29:38 uh wanted a place where people could go
29:42 to meet people who um especially folks
29:46 in more liberal areas where they could have a a a community to go where Trump
29:50 supporters wouldn't get hated on he said for example it's hard being a republican
29:55 in the LA area it's not an easy thing
29:58 one interesting little tidbit here if you go back is that oh is it gone now
30:03 yeah uh oh do you need me to go back to it yeah oh wow oh my goodness this is
30:09 great um so okay hold on a second okay
30:12 where do you want me uh keep going a little bit okay right there
30:18 uh Perfect Right Here Trump signals.com
30:21 is not the only dating site to emerge from
30:25 the uh of the
30:29 Maple match helps Americans fleeing the Trump
30:33 presidency find a Canadian soulmate okay
30:37 I got to open is that even
30:40 okay what the heck that's a
30:43 print uh okay Maple match is this is
30:48 this real maple match.com this can't be
30:51 real again the dating app that makes you
30:54 better at dating Free iOS dating yeah this doesn't seem to actually say
30:59 anything about that um with the goal of bringing
31:04 Americans and Canadians together in a fun meaningful way when will I be
31:10 matched um I can't imagine this is real
31:14 this is a really basic site there's almost no copy on it they keep talking
31:18 about the app I'm going to see if it's available okay in the meantime though
31:23 this is where Trump singles.com goes maybe the account was suspended just
31:27 just because their traffic has been too
31:31 high that's possible actually suspended from what contact your hosting provider
31:36 for more information I don't know but um
31:39 make make dating grade again is going to have to uh it's going to have to wait
31:43 Maple match is not on Android okay maybe
31:47 it's iOS only that's okay I got an iPhone I got an iPhone it did say something about iOS on there yeah okay
31:53 Maple match I feel like this is one of the
31:56 most disjointed w shows we've ever had
31:59 okay mle Jak okay hold up Jake is like is the W Show sponsored by durx or
32:03 something did you not hear any of that he's avoiding using them yeah I'm trying
32:09 to not give my money to uh
32:15 yeah all right uh no speaking of sponsors though we should probably uh we
32:20 should probably do our sponsor spot so freshbooks yeah are you a small business
32:24 owner are you a freelancer are you looking to get organiz
32:28 and get paid faster and basically are
32:31 you frustrated with trying to track all your expenses and your hours in a way
32:35 that is easy to understand hosting fees yeah like like all that kind of stuff
32:40 see fresh books is all about making your
32:44 life easier as a small business owner or a freelancer they've got simple to use
32:48 invoicing tools they let you track your time with their time sheet function they
32:51 let you manage your expenses and keep track of who owes you what they also
32:55 have a feature that tells you if if your client looked at the invoice you sent
33:00 like it's one thing if you're like um let's say you do electrical work or like
33:05 small time contract you know handy man handy lady woman whatever um handy
33:10 person type work and if you got like one client per day at a time it's relatively
33:16 straightforward but let's say you ran a yoga class out of your garage or
33:21 something like that and there's like 20 people in a class at a time being able
33:26 to send out every invoices and be able to tell who saw it that way when they
33:32 come in for the next class there's no oh yeah sorry I I didn't see it freshbooks
33:36 takes care of all that stuff and they even have a card reader now so visit
33:40 freshbooks.com when and enter when in
33:43 the how did You Hear About Us section when you sign up for your free 30-day
33:48 trial try it out speaking of free 30-day trials
33:54 Squarespace offers I believe it's a 14-day trial which is not 30 days but
34:00 but for those 14 days you have 247 live
34:03 chat and email support and if you buy it for 365 days you get a free domain
34:08 thrown in for the entirety of those 365 days yeah uh it starts at only 12 bucks
34:14 a month and you get uh I was going to do the free domain talking point you you're
34:18 killing me here responsive design wrecked all of their templates feature
34:22 responsive design your website scales to look great on any device and uh actually
34:27 you know you know this funny my uh my brother wanted to create a website for
34:31 his small business that's actually doing really well I had no idea that I go I
34:37 gotta get him on Fresh books as well now that I think about it cuz um basically
34:42 he breeds aquatic animals and plants for
34:48 um like aquarium enthusiasts yeah so
34:51 things like used to breed betas or whatever um so Axel oh he does like okay
34:56 like like a different stuff like I actually went to like the local lizard
35:00 Expo thing just to kind of like be a supportive older brother and I was like
35:05 holy crap there's like this is sort of a bigger deal than I thought apparently
35:10 plants are like know huge cuz there's
35:13 lots of different benefits of having different plants in your um in your
35:18 aquarium and I was like oh that's that's really neat so anyway as kind of like a
35:23 late Christmas present I hooked him up with a year of Squarespace I actually I
35:28 actually paid for Squarespace for the first time I have never paid for
35:31 Squarespace before um but I hooked him up with a year and he was like oh this
35:35 is great I thought you were going to and I'm not going to name any names because
35:39 that's not what this is about but I thought you were talking about the other
35:43 one but I heard from everyone that Squarespace is the good one so I'm glad
35:46 that's the one you got me and I was like
35:49 oh well I'm glad too we only like
35:53 endorsing the best so there's that um
35:56 but anyway he was like yeah it's like pretty easy to use so he's working on uh
36:00 working on creating a site and everything right now um I kind of got
36:04 sidetracked there you can also have cover pages if you have a relatively
36:07 simple site that you want to make and you need like a onepage kind of design
36:10 yeah but like my brother wants to sell stuff and so he will use the Commerce
36:14 mod the Commerce module which is nice and adjustable and setable and whatnot
36:19 anyway free trial 14 days no credit card
36:22 required try it out you know whether you just want to have a presence for your
36:26 you know local sport team that you coach or like a small restaurant that you help
36:30 manage um I there's a lot of people out there like total cottage industry out
36:35 there of people using Squarespace as
36:39 resellers basically someone coming to them saying can you build me a website
36:43 and they just kind of go yeah I'll build you a website they use Squarespace and
36:47 they just customize it so that it looks really beautiful for them and like you
36:50 can be 100% transparent and you'll have to be because that person is ultimately
36:54 going to need to be able to sign in to admit it but like
36:59 there you go not a not a bad little uh not a bad little Biz and if you're
37:03 thinking like man I need to build something pretty beautiful you should
37:06 probably use offer code W to save 10% off your first purchase damn straight
37:12 all right Nintendo signals the end of Wii U did you do that already there
37:16 really isn't much to say there here we go pcgamer.com is the original article
37:20 here it was posted by top war gamer on the Forum my balls are really cold that
37:25 was a very Frozen ice pack I generally have haven't been leaving them in for
37:28 like an entire day because I'm rotating between them pretty quickly okay and
37:32 that is like super Frozen does do that
37:36 like add to the pain or are they numbed out um they're cold okay all right not
37:43 very painful right now though okay that's good Gabe Newell valve is working
37:46 on single player games open to
37:49 revisiting the halflife universe yeah so the title of like Gabe
37:55 new confirms new IP in the half life portal Universe might be a little bit of
37:59 a stretch it's a quote from his Reddit AMA that I had actually read all he says
38:06 is yes when asked if they were developing any fully-fledged single
38:10 player games he actually had said nothing about it very specifically being
38:14 a portal or halflife game I just want to put that out there real
38:18 quick uh when asked in a different thread if they would revisit that
38:24 Universe he answered in the affirmative it's not half 3 confirmed but it is
38:29 possible that it could be a halflife related game not out of the question
38:34 okay I hadn't actually read that quote that's cool um so there you go um
38:38 they're using Source 2 but seeing that like Titanfall 2 was in Source 2
38:43 engine that's not a bad thing Titanfall 2 looked good and it ran really well
38:50 this is pretty cool the century small form factor case that we actually
38:53 reviewed an early prototype of a few months back just for the few people that
38:58 do care as well before we go here um he has also said that they're designing VR
39:03 Games first party and they're designing a Knuckles controller which is cool um
39:08 oh fantastic so to complete with the OC complete compete with the Oculus touch
39:12 yeah so we've we've seen a little bit of that in my in my review that I did of
39:15 the Oculus touch we saw a little bit of the knuckles controller but um I'm sure
39:19 it'll look a lot better than what I had called it so the sentury crushed their
39:24 crowdfunding goal within a matter of like hours
39:27 and uh yeah it seems to be well on its way these guys are I mean I can't say
39:32 that they won't sort of run away with everybody's money it's an Indiegogo
39:36 campaign and I you know can't personally guarantee them but from my interaction
39:39 with them they seem like good folks and
39:43 uh the product that I had in spite of being very early a very early sample um
39:49 was something that I would have been if I wanted a console in this a console
39:53 shaped PC in this form factor something I would have been comfortable spending
39:57 the money they're asking on so uh great
40:01 great job those guys congratulations huge huge shout out um
40:05 Seagate Closing one of its largest hard drive manufacturing plants this is from
40:09 tech power up hosted by numlock 21 on the
40:13 Forum wow it's located in suu hopefully
40:16 I'm saying that right China the closure will significantly reduce the company's
40:20 hard drive output they're looking to optimize their production reducing hard
40:25 drive production capabilities from 55 to 60 million hard drives per quarter to
40:29 around 35 to 40 million wow and seagate's laying off 2,200 employees wow
40:37 so basically what this means is not necessarily that Seagate expects a huge
40:43 dip in the business for high capacity
40:46 hard drives those I mean we met with them back at CES those whether you talk
40:52 to Seagate or WD they are pretty bullish
40:55 on shipping 10 terabyte plus hard drives
40:59 to cloud storage providers um Facebook
41:03 data centers yeah Facebook Google those
41:06 are not going away hard drives are not going away but what is going away much
41:12 more quickly than like I remember talking to Folks at WD and seate you
41:17 know back three four years ago um for
41:20 consumers as like the the main Drive in a computer or even as a secondary Drive
41:25 in a computer they went away a lot faster than I think they saw coming well
41:30 like every single laptop basically used to come with like a 500 gig or one tab
41:34 hard drive and now they don't and if they do come with a hard drive it's a
41:39 500 gig or a one terabyte because not
41:43 like that two or three range that should be kind of the low end now like if we
41:48 were still scaling The Way We Were and the the reason for that is that I don't
41:52 whether it's a end user or whether it's the manufacturers they don't want to
41:57 invest a bunch of money in the hard drive and for most people I believe one
42:03 terabyte is that magical number where
42:08 realistically the majority of people don't need more than that
42:13 because especially with a lot of stuff being Cloud now there's a considerable
42:17 amount of people that don't really save much on their local computers yep and
42:22 there's an argument to be made for once you reach a certain amount of storage on
42:26 a device that can fail um should that even be done or
42:31 would it be safer to just take that 500 gigs or whatever and throw it up in the
42:36 cloud now the cloud has its own sort of issues I personally don't store anything
42:41 incriminating in the cloud I'm I'm having troubles uh finding a way to like
42:45 make a video that people will actually watch about it so I don't necessarily know if I ever will but sonology is
42:50 doing some really cool stuff they for your private Cloud so their Nas has
42:54 always been solid enough but now they
42:58 making Beyond like uh your own kind of
43:03 hosted off your own server style Google Docs and Google Sheets okay so it's not
43:07 Google at all but you can have collaborators and multiple people can be
43:10 editing at the same time and you can see people editing and stuff and it's hosted
43:14 off of your own server docs and sheets and chat okay so a slack
43:20 styled they they use that and it looks like it now I should maybe use some
43:26 different design cues but yeah I would like to see functionality like that in
43:30 something like a Docker container so that it could be used across platform
43:35 but I know sonology does support Docker so is that how they're implementing it
43:39 or is it going to be like a syy proprietary I Haven played with it myself much um I'll be keeping an eye on
43:45 it because right now to my knowledge there still isn't a super simple uh like
43:51 Dropbox ease of use equivalent way to back up photos that you take and videos
43:55 that you take on your phone um it used to be that uh Code 42 had
44:01 like a like a personal cloud type product of some sort that had an app
44:05 don't don't quote me on that though I don't remember who it was but there used to be something it ended up getting
44:09 discontinued um and it would be great if
44:13 you could create something a little bit easier to
44:17 use yeah yeah we'll we'll see I know
44:20 right now like it's a little junky like when you set up your thing it doesn't
44:24 have a friendly URL right off the start y so it has like a really messy URL to
44:29 get to your thing you can you can change it and you can like make it so that it's
44:33 clean but you have to go through another one of their apps in order to do that
44:37 it's not automatic right because they're not like a low-end client company
44:42 they're like a you know what you're doing kind of company AC says Google
44:47 Google Drive no no Google drive is not the solution I'm looking to store the
44:50 stuff on my own thing apparently owncloud uh owncloud got
44:55 forked um yeah maybe I'll play around with
45:00 it and someone says code 42's crash plan Enterprise does I called them like a few
45:04 months ago back when I was looking into um what I was going to use to
45:08 synchronize our on-site server and our off-site one uh I ended up with Beyond
45:13 Compare running as a scheduled task in
45:16 like with like a script uh because
45:19 basically they I think they had removed that functionality and there were a bunch of other reasons that it wasn't
45:23 going to work but um but crash plan is a really good solution for just kind of
45:28 backing up an image of your hard drive offsite actually this is kind of a cool
45:32 thing that I hadn't really talked to anyone internally about but as part of
45:35 the server room reorganization so it was the the old way
45:41 was wanic was SATA ssds okay and then it
45:45 had a a a real-time synchronization server that was mechanical drives so
45:49 wanic is moving to NVMe and the realtime sync is probably going to be SSD SATA
45:55 ssds and I think I'm going to purpose that like 25 tbte um mechanical one as
46:02 like a crash plan Target that everyone who works here can use oh that's cool
46:07 which would be kind of cool because the way crash plan works is everything that people would sync to the office would be
46:12 encrypted as like a in a in a container
46:15 file um so I would just create like a generic account that everyone can create
46:21 their own accounts and then sync to yeah um and like I I paid the $30 a month
46:27 to freaking tell us and now I have unlimited data nice so I would just sync
46:32 like everything that's the way to be man yeah
46:37 um the month after cuz I I kept on
46:40 hitting my data cap like within a gig every single time and then eventually
46:44 they called me and they're like you're like metering yourself and I'm like yeah
46:47 I'm I'm not going over because you guys charge a lot they like would you like
46:51 unlimited we'll give you like a discount nice and they give me a discount for
46:54 like a year so I'm not technically paying 30 right now but it will go back
46:57 up I was like yeah sure in the very next month it was like massive amounts of
47:02 data they're like we don't regret this at all I mean you're on a fiber line
47:07 anyway like and I'm I think I'm the only one around on it realistically it costs
47:10 you nothing so um yeah so many people
47:14 are asking me this like for our setup
47:17 here why don't you build a sand because I'm not going to build a s
47:25 like everyone suggesting that have you looked into the cost yeah of a s you
47:32 think what we have is expensive like yes the gear we have is like kind of
47:35 expensive I spent like $20,000 on NVMe
47:39 ssds that is a drop in the bucket
47:42 compared to what I would spend on a s not to mention having someone come in
47:47 and set up which would require ongoing maintenance because I'm not familiar
47:51 with it on a s and for what
47:58 why everyone's like it would be way better way better in what way we don't
48:04 have 300
48:09 employees no I'm not going to run out
48:13 and buy a sand it's storage area network right yes
48:18 yeah yeah yeah so there's some people in chat asking what s
48:22 um yeah basically it uses different it
48:26 uses different networking Hardware like you would end up building um some kind
48:30 of like fiber channel type of like interconnect you would have multiple
48:36 boxes you would have things like uh failover so that if one box just failed
48:41 out right the whole thing would keep on keep on ticking you know what we don't
48:45 have that many people enough people to justify something like that and the
48:50 performance of that NVMe box for all the
48:53 criticism in the video that just went up about how man it was oh man it was just
49:00 kind of endless why didn't you do this why didn't you do that this is stupid
49:04 there's a lot of things people don't consider why am I running Windows Server
49:07 because we have all Windows clients and
49:11 SMB 3.0 runs best on Windows had a lot
49:16 of people asking why I was using Hardware raid I am not using Hardware
49:21 raid there is no Hardware RAID controller for 24 NVMe drives what
49:25 Hardware RAID controller would I be using I had a lot of people saying that
49:30 the performance would be bottlenecked by the four 10 GB network
49:34 connections um why I mean sure if I was hitting the
49:39 whole thing sequentially from one client then I guess I would need a 100 gigabit
49:45 client what what would I need 100 what would I need 10 gigabytes a second for
49:50 it's for multiple clients when you have multiple clients it is just fine to
49:56 spread out over multiple network interfaces and when especially when none
50:00 of those clients will need more than one Gigabyte per second at a time all our
50:04 all my clients are either gigabit or 10 gigabit and the other factor to consider
50:09 is that unless you are hitting it basically purely sequentially you're
50:12 never going to see 10 gigabytes a second
50:17 anyway and when we've got multiple people playing back say for example uh
50:22 red footage at 8K each of those clients can do like 3
50:28 gbit it's pretty heavy and then if someone's ingesting footage over there
50:32 then they could be they could be writing at about 4
50:36 gigabit and all of that stuff it makes
50:40 makes the makes the interaction with the data more random and less sequential so
50:45 could there be a bottleneck sure am I concerned about it no so far it has been
50:51 operating extremely well thank you very much
50:57 the chat is like oh my God lus is so mad
51:02 I'm not mad my balls just hurt uh okay ZTE project CSX phone
51:08 handsfree ey tracking device so this
51:14 portion of the Indiegogo pledge goal that they have
51:18 reached is everything or Kickstarter
51:21 sorry Kickstarter pledge goal that they've um that they've reached is
51:27 everything that big companies need to know about crowdsourcing the ideas for
51:32 your products because people have
51:38 ideas but that doesn't mean that they
51:41 would actually pay money for a
51:44 product that had that idea
51:48 implemented what basically they so they
51:51 crowdsourced a bunch of ideas for this phone and people were like oh we want it
51:56 tracking scr you don't mean the funding you're talking like they they had like a
52:00 site that you could go to and suggest features so they crowdsourced ideas for
52:05 the phone and they've like I didn't even know that they've set themselves down on
52:09 this path where they've committed to build it and the ideas are terrible like
52:14 they're just terrible uh scrolling based
52:17 on eye tracking so pages should scroll automatically up and down or left and
52:22 right based on movement absolutely hate it horrible terrible uh voice command
52:26 can be used to navigate between Pages voice commands are already bad enough I
52:32 don't think voice commands need to get any worse do you know I swear Siri has
52:37 gotten worse um I've been on the iPhone quite a
52:40 bit lately because I've been waiting for an unlock code for my S7 a lot of people
52:44 have asked why I'm wearing an Apple Watch lately the next one sticks to
52:48 walls and surfaces with self- adhesive case that's going to get so gnarly just
52:52 to bring back an old word like that's going to get really gross really fast
52:57 and not work immediately like Dennis bought one of those iPhone no he has an
53:02 S7 Edge I think he bought one of those cases that has that micros suction stuff
53:07 it'll work a little bit he's like oh lonus this is so cool you should make a
53:10 video about this case I was like no
53:14 because I'm plenty familiar with that stuff and within like eight applications
53:20 it's not going to stick to anything not to mention that it barely sticks to anything in the first place anyway
53:24 unless you're sticking it to a window there is no reason to use it whatsoever
53:29 now to be clear I love that stuff so I did a handy tack under 100 where I
53:33 featured that stuff um oh that would have been great for your sticky stuff
53:37 one but I'd already done it yeah you don't you don't have it as your case no
53:40 I don't have it on my pH stuff on something yes yeah so I have a strip of
53:44 it on my nightstand next to my bed where I lay down any devices that I'm charging
53:50 so that they can't get pulled off if I or one of my kids grabs a
53:54 cable that's what it's four yeah or
53:58 didn't you have some in your car before uh no that came on a chi charging dock
54:05 um that ended up melting because I got an early prototype that was 3D printed
54:08 yeah so that's hilarious yeah it's expected to ship in September and it has
54:13 all the most generic specs ever Qualcomm 625 3 gigs RAM 5 1 half in 1080P display
54:17 3,000 millah battery 12 megapixel plus
54:21 13 megap optical zoom rear camera 32 gig
54:24 storage USB type c wow I'm so board $200
54:28 though cool
54:33 um wow uh Reddit user this is cool so it's
54:38 posted by good good T Fu fry good tofu
54:42 Friday that's a great username uh Reddit user posts a picture of an am4 bracket
54:49 so here's the EK water blocks am4 versus am3 bracket demonstrating that they
54:55 appear to be compatible although I probably could have told you guys that
54:58 from looking at am4 boards at uh CES it
55:01 does look like AMD is keeping the existing mounting holes wasn't that
55:07 definitely public knowledge already I certainly didn't think it was a secret
55:12 um but there you go reddit's happy about it so good for them okay you did it
55:17 Reddit I I I thought I thought has just
55:20 no one said it because we just all assumed that everyone else knew maybe
55:24 because I that's pretty funny ASRock is
55:27 showing off a new
55:30 desktop form factor so check this thing
55:34 out so it spreads the io out quite a bit more uh it looks like we can put an mxm
55:39 here and I was I honestly thought it was like a matter of time before we were
55:43 going to see something like this and I am super excited for the kinds of
55:47 designs you could build with a board like this soda memory and uh front IO
55:52 right here actually wow the closer I
55:55 look at this article from an ontech this posted by ah my good friend Dr cutus um
56:01 this looks amazing
56:05 so wow I'm actually like super stoked on
56:08 this basically this would allow you tiny
56:12 computer to build effectively like a
56:16 laptop thinness desktop with like a
56:22 7700k 32 gigs of RAM and like a g TX
56:28 1080 that'd be pretty sick this would be
56:32 bananas um do you see any power connectors so power is probably DC so
56:37 probably external power if I had to guess I would say that's a power in okay
56:42 yeah that's probably it I was looking for circular and you can see a little bit of circular black on there it could
56:46 also be up here based on that that's where this comes in but I would assume
56:50 Central more so so that it can feed the slot here yeah um I'm also not sure
56:56 exactly how they're planning to handle mxm cards that require external power
57:01 like it's possible that this is just one of yeah but oh man an Enthusiast grade
57:07 desktop that's like look at the size of this thing it's like this big by like
57:11 this wide with like a 1080 in it cuz like that's like I look at laptop
57:15 Hardware I'm like yeah that stuff's like awesome I'd love to like use the crap
57:19 out of that stuff um except that it's
57:23 got a display and a keyboard and like a bunch a bunch of stuff that adds cost
57:27 and complexity that I don't need whereas
57:31 oh man like the kind of chassis you could build around something like this
57:34 where you could have like a mono block style cooler for the CPU and the GPU so
57:39 you can uh man I'm I'm excited about this thing oh there's some more pictures
57:45 so there's a good uh good sense of the size right there yeah and that does
57:50 indeed look like power in although I could be could be wrong look at all that
57:56 m.2 on the back that is
58:01 ba very cool oh here we
58:05 go what's that what are both of those uh he
58:11 probably says yeah he probably says front part blah blah blah yeah DC and
58:17 Jack okay there you go yeah so that
58:21 looks fantastic I'm excited this could turn into uh into some very very cool
58:27 form factors I just want to see if there's any other no okay stoked on that
58:31 I'm adding that to our uh we have a we have like a a weekly meeting now where
58:37 we where we like go through like what's cool what's coming are you going to talk
58:41 about the which the three the three the
58:46 two three yeah the three I'm trying to not say anything
58:54 uh oh ah um sure
58:58 yeah so this is interesting we have
59:03 completed call for writers 2016 I know
59:07 it's 2017 now but we started it in 2016 and that's how the that's how the N
59:12 clature Works y um and we are hiring
59:16 three people so a I wouldn't say their
59:20 names but um I could I could say first names
59:26 okay yeah I mean they've got their employee agreements where they agree to have their name and likeness signed them
59:31 technically they haven't signed them yet so maybe okay so I'll stick with not
59:34 names yet names soon but uh we are adding three people to the writing team
59:39 here which is going to I hope
59:42 dramatically increase the cohesiveness of the content coming out
59:48 of this place um it's no secret that for a long time um I've been overworked it
59:54 is no secret that Luke has his tension split between content and development of
59:59 float playing Club our Early Access platform um and we've been in desperate
60:04 need of help for quite some time more help than we can get from Brandon with
60:08 his camera reviews and Taran with electric bikes truly had a
60:13 pre-production higher for line ofes no
60:16 that was sort of the intent with John but he bid into Techquickie and became
60:23 the Techquickie guy in a way that great which is great
60:26 in a way that no one anticipated and he only rarely finds time to to pitch in on
60:31 the LT side of things so we said we were going to hire two to three and we
60:37 decided uh we decided to go with three the decision's made and those folks will
60:42 be two of them had to relocate um but those folks will be heading out here
60:45 sometime in the next actually about three weeks yeah yeah so and that's
60:49 exciting cuz like overd doubling the
60:52 team essentially and and we've we've
60:56 grown these other sectors of lonus Media Group a lot and never touched our side
61:01 ever um and this doesn't necessarily mean that like we're just not going to
61:06 show up on camera as much or almost at all anymore that's not the plan um John
61:11 has already done a bunch of line secutive scripts like if you've seen any
61:15 of our console stuff the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 Xbox One S and
61:20 Playstation 4 Pro yep to be more specific those were both largely John
61:24 scripts and what what this will do I've got a lot of people asking about more
61:28 content no no I do not intend for us to
61:32 release more than a video per day but what I do want you guys to see is more
61:37 stuff like PlayStation 4 water cooling
61:41 great video yeah but a video like that
61:44 is extraordinarily time consuming and
61:47 the guys that we're bringing in will not only have more time but they also have
61:51 very unique skill sets yes so one of them I would consider to be kind of an
61:57 allrounder um kind of similar to me in
62:00 that way like pretty selftaught except that he also has some coding
62:04 experience one of them has an engineering background yeah dude's got
62:09 an engineering degree so if we wanted to create a trebuchet for Channel Super Fun
62:14 we finally have someone on staff who can have us not get killed yeah while we're
62:18 trying to do that um the other one has
62:21 over a decade of like it background and like has has like
62:27 replaced electrical components on board
62:30 and has gone around like fixing SNES and Nest systems and like all this other
62:34 kind of cool stuff and is very interested and good at that so we're
62:38 bringing in three very different people
62:41 um at least one of them has a fair bit
62:44 of experience with uh 3D modeling and 3D printing uh so so we're bringing in a
62:49 bunch of different skill sets that are going to unlock a lot of ideas that we've had on the back burner for a long
62:53 time and just haven't had the time to learn how to and this shouldn't just
62:59 make it so that there's more like really awesome cool in-depth projects but it
63:03 should also free up lus and I to do things like scrapyard Wars yes it's been
63:08 a long time since scrapyard Wars uh season 4 it's it's it's difficult to do
63:15 it's extremely difficult to do when you have two people that can do the pre-production for projects and you take
63:20 both of them out so I've got a lot of people speculating no Jerry is not
63:25 coming to work here they're all Canadian so I'll put to rest any speculation
63:29 about Jerry um and because we just said
63:33 they're all Canadian it's not like it's not lend yeah he's also American though it's
63:38 it's not like we didn't we didn't plunder like Hardware conducts we didn't plunder anyone these are all new guys
63:43 these guys are fresh blood and we're really excited to bring them in and uh
63:47 and and really ramp things up in the next little bit just so everybody knows
63:50 Wendell like has a real job like I don't I don't know if people know this cuz a
63:54 lot of people and like the existence of level one Tex yeah and I I like what
63:59 he's doing over there and I don't yeah
64:02 yeah if you guys actually could help me out a little bit I'd appreciate it if you can ask Wendell when the crap he's
64:08 going to come on Wow with us and talk about level one text cuz that's been
64:14 that's been on both of our calendars for quite some time just tweet that guy be
64:18 like yo hey lonus is like why aren't you on my show and you'd be like we want you
64:23 on the show because it's been a long time no excuses
64:28 Bruh Bruh
64:32 Bruh what else we got bruh um PC one your test how's it going
64:38 it is going it's going I I checked in on it a couple days ago have you been back
64:43 there yeah yep it's going they're all running uh next doc turns Intel's
64:49 compute card into a two-in-one laptop this was posted on the Forum by Dawson
64:54 wage and the original article here is from The
65:00 Verge okay oh yeah this thing yeah looks
65:04 pretty cool so they announced the compute card at CES uh which was uh back
65:07 in early January so a credit card sized computer so this is the followup to the
65:12 compute stick which was a stick siiz
65:16 computer and it's essentially a full computer so it's got CPU GPU Wireless
65:21 connectivity and it's designed to let Hardware manufacturers easily add
65:25 computer internals to Smart devices so it's all built around a single
65:29 upgradeable standard so the next Doc is one of the first products announced that
65:33 looks to take advantage of the compute card uh the company is listed as one of
65:37 Intel's Regional partners for the compute card and it's a touchscreen device with two slots on the side one
65:42 for the compute card which contains the actual computer of the device and one
65:45 for a larger custom USBC module for
65:48 swapping in andout ports and Battery as the situation requires I'm not a huge
65:53 fan of that I wish it kind of just had ports in a battery apparently it can be converted
65:58 into different form factors using a keyboard and kickstand accessory so they
66:03 hope that by separating the OS and the processor from the rest of the hardware
66:07 they can prolong the lifespan of the computer and help reduce the environmental impact very
66:14 cool um what else we got here I guess
66:18 that's pretty much everything from my side uh Opera neon is Opera's New
66:23 Concept browser so that's cool cool and
66:26 um thanks for watching The W show do you have anything else that you want's playing video games right now yeah it's
66:32 like he's not even doing anything more important than being on the L show with us so what okay what what's his twitch
66:37 what's his twitch get this pgp okay so
66:43 twitch.tv Team pgp guys we got to fix
66:48 this okay so everyone get over there and
66:51 like cause a cause a riot okay everybody
66:55 cause a riot you can tell him I said so no don't tell him I said so actually
66:58 that would be better let I want to see a riot in Wendell's twitch chat in the
67:02 next 30 seconds or I'm ending the
67:06 stream actually I'm going to end the stream in 30 seconds anyway there it
67:09 goes okay do we have a riot yeah okay
67:13 very good okay the riot level is about a four out of 10 I need to see about a 12
67:17 out of 10 here guys come on Riot Riot it's team pgp team pgp

67:50 conflict resource conflict that was causing our cutouts um oh this is really
67:55 important if you guys are not already subscribed to Channel Super Fun I'm
68:00 linking that in the chat right now all the episodes of nerd

68:29 of amazing I mean do do we want to tell people like how many people are

68:42 hundreds I guess so we've got a lot of people I'm
68:48 going to post this uh post the link to where you can join the float playing
68:52 Club the video and audio quality is quite wonderful yep we've got a lot of
68:56 great great feedback from tremendous
69:00 tremendously knowledgeable people that the video and audio actually the audio
69:04 is one of the biggest differences for me because I'm usually watching on like a
69:08 laptop or a um or a phone so small
69:11 display anyway um but listening with in
69:15 one of those things that you've been asking for we tried it and it like works
69:19 but it's like really scary for the servers so like no but later yes does it
69:24 have three letters the first of which is h no oh don't I
69:29 don't want to I don't literally don't want anyone to know oh okay but it's two
69:33 it's two oh okay I think I know which one oh wow uh
69:40 okay um all right so guys go check out
69:43 uh go subscribe to Channel Super Fun go check out Flo playing Club yes um audio
69:49 quality really is better you guys are doing almost no compression right I like
69:54 they change things all the time thank you I appreciate it I'm not
69:57 complaining I'm just saying I don't really know what's going on all the time uh so like a while ago yeah no not
70:03 really um okay all right good night
70:08 everybody bye oh yeah the outro oh which has no
70:14 music so whatever right
