0:00 all right guys we're here at chiro checking out a product i did not expect
0:03 to see this is not a battery bank this is something that will use sound light
0:07 and aroma to put you to sleep let's check out the sleepy on thank you
0:11 squarespace for sending us to ces 2016 this year click the link in the video
0:15 description down below i'll start off with aroma it's the most complicated and
0:18 interesting of the three they have this crazy ceramic ring which is baked at a
0:22 very specific temperature it's like 400 and something degrees or whatever
0:26 anyways it results in a whole bunch of tiny little holes being in the ceramic
0:29 that i don't even think you can see yeah i can't really see them personally but
0:33 you drop one drop of three different types of oil geranium lavender or
0:37 japanese hinoki tree that's a cypress type tree onto there it seeps in and
0:42 then you fix that onto the front of the sleeping on unlike other oil sleep
0:47 thingies it doesn't do it by heat which makes the the the aroma really strong
0:52 and aggressive and abrasive it does it through vibration so it just kind of
0:56 like shakes the oil mixture out as you try to fall asleep and it's much more
1:01 soothing and slow apparently which is good when you're trying to sleep i think
1:05 that makes sense that's one drop per 24 hours which is actually pretty solid i
1:10 think i wouldn't expect it to last forever then you move on to sound it has 16
1:14 default sounds going from things like crashing waves to just a soothing lake
1:20 or whatever that will maybe help you fall slowly into sleep you could even
1:24 start with more aggressive ones like crashing waves and eventually get to
1:28 something like the ambient noise of a lake to try to move you into that final
1:32 rem sleep or you there's an aux input so
1:35 you can play your own white noise if you want that being said don't look at this thing
1:39 like a bluetooth speaker i know it's portable it has a battery on the back
1:42 which attaches through a magnet and it has a micro usb power in so you could
1:47 power it actually through the wall if you wanted to but it's not it's not your
1:50 bluetooth speaker you're not going to want to take this to the beach and play
1:53 music on it you might want to take it to the beach and fall asleep nicely that
1:57 could be cool if you find an isolated spot but yeah i don't know
2:01 last but not least is the moonlight which is mounted on the back this is
2:05 where they kind of started to lose me but then they said it's backed by the
2:09 research institute of japan so i don't know they probably know more
2:13 about this than i do so we'll see there's a light on the back which glows
2:17 on your wall it's an arcing light so you can actually see it on a very large part
2:21 of your wall it'll glow very lightly and it will kind of breathe or pulse and
2:25 it's supposed to simulate kind of what the moon does which is pretty
2:28 interesting these three things in combination are
2:31 there to help you get into deep level three and four rem sleep which is
2:35 supposed to help with things like your immune system muscle development while
2:38 sleeping and tissue repair while sleeping which is great i personally
2:42 actually have a hell of a time falling asleep takes me like an hour every night
2:46 almost regardless of how tired i am so if this thing works that's freaking
2:50 awesome next i want to call it their danboard flower series this thing is
2:54 pretty small you can see it in the palm of my hand it's 10 050 milliamp hours it
2:58 has a combined total of 3.4 amps at 5 volts out it's pretty seriously badass
3:04 you can put this pretty much anywhere and have over 10 000 hours of battery
3:07 life pretty sick now before we go i've got two more things one is i want you to
3:11 comment down below and what you think of the sleepy on does it seem like snake
3:15 oil to you get it because oil stuff or does it actually seem like it's gonna
3:18 work i really hope it works so i could seriously use some help getting to sleep
3:22 next is if you do think it's gonna work maybe check out their kickstarter this
3:26 isn't like it's actually gonna be a thing i wouldn't worry about it they've
3:29 been in development for 15 years they're already manufacturing them if you order
3:33 in the us you'll get it in i believe the end of march beginning of april time
3:37 frame like it's actually manufacturing already don't worry about it the more
3:42 the reason why they went on kickstarter they're telling me was more just to check what the market for sleep was and
3:47 what the hype was and what their market size was probably to figure out
3:51 manufacturing quotas not to figure out manufacturing which is kind of an issue
3:55 thank you to squarespace for sending us to ces 2016 this year if you need a
3:59 website you can use squarespace to set up your website if you want to make a website about different oils that you
4:04 might want to use with the sleepy on or something
4:08 i don't know or like best sleep practices that would be a good way to do
4:12 that if you want to set up a blog you can do that with one of their template engine things and if you want to make a
4:17 commerce site because you want to sell custom oils for this or if you want to
4:21 market sleepy on somewhere that it's not for sale if you have a store or
4:24 something like that you can do that through the commerce system if you
4:28 there's tons of different templates there's cover page where you can set up a one-page site for resume or something
4:32 like that anyways sign up for a year free domain 24 7 live chat and email
4:36 support squarespace build it beautiful we'll see you guys next time subscribe
