The Arc midi R2 by fractal design features massive air flow and highly
0:09
flexible liquid cooling support click now to learn more welcome to an unboxing
0:14
of a fairly eclectic set of uh products
0:18
here these are from bangood.com which uh is not as bad as it sounds so you can
0:24
safely go there however it should be noted that the name isn't entirely
0:29
misleading because they do sell Intimate Apparel and sex toys and all those kinds
0:33
of things but that is not don't worry no no don't navigate away from the video
0:37
yet that is not what we're going to be talking about we're going to be looking
0:40
at a few of the different things so they have kind of weird Electronics uh they
0:44
also have some keyboards okay so like
0:47
some gaming gear and stuff and other just completely random stuff so of
0:51
course you'll have been LED here by the thumbnail of me with like boxes being
0:58
like Oh I got a horse head on and uh
1:01
anyway they actually contacted me about taking a look at some keyboards and I
1:05
was like oh well um can you send me a horse head as well and they're like yeah
1:10
I guess anyway let's start with the
1:14
flashget g600 keyboard so this is just one of the keyboards that they have I
1:18
picked out this one because I thought it was kind of unique compared to what we
1:22
can typically get our hands on here in North America so it's not the highest
1:27
end keyboard by any stretch of the imagination so it does not unfortunately
1:31
have back lit keys but what it does have is an aluminum back plate so it actually
1:36
feels extremely solid so here if you guys check out my Flex test I mean
1:41
obviously there's almost none even with me wrenching on the keyboard which is
1:46
what you've come what you'll come to expect from an aluminum built keyboard
1:50
it also has a very unique color to the key cap so they're translucent red key
1:55
caps with that said they do have printing right on the top so I wouldn't expect the numbers and letters last as
2:00
long as some of the other technologies that are available for printing key caps
2:04
this particular one has a 10 keyless design although there are a number of
2:08
other unique keyboards that they have available there so there's rubber feed
2:11
on the bottom this I like to see this so rubber feed implementation on the risers
2:17
at the back that allows it to still stay attached securely to the table whether
2:21
they're in the down or up position it's got a removable cord so you can actually
2:26
decide how exactly you want that cable managed whether you want it coming
2:29
Direct out of the back of the keyboard or if you want it to go somewhere else
2:33
all you got to do is plug this in and then it has a little piece right here
2:37
that sits wherever you might happen to want it to come out so let just go like
2:41
that and that'll lock it in place real nice just like that my friends all right
2:47
so now is where we get into the next selling point of this particular
2:50
keyboard and that is the fact that it comes with a full set of replacement key
2:54
caps which is this is the first time I've seen this again it's sort of those
2:59
differences between the different markets where who knows in Asia maybe
3:03
this is a common thing that you get a full set of black key caps with your
3:07
silver and red keyboard maybe it isn't a common thing I have no idea what I do
3:14
know is that it has built-in media controls and other than that not a whole
3:18
lot of extra functionality like programmable macros or anything like
3:22
that but there you have it we could completely replace these if we so
3:26
desired just go like that unfortunately oh look at that it doesn't include a
3:30
keyc cap puller well hopefully if you're a keyboard dork like me you already have
3:33
a keyc cap puller but oh yeah I guess another idea is you could we could make
3:37
like a Canadian keyboard you like put a bunch little bit of black accents and
3:41
getting a red and white thing going on anyway next up so they do have some
3:45
other sort of weird cool Electronics so this is the w100s QR Series this was
3:51
actually one of the other things that they actually wanted me to talk about
3:54
and this one can be controlled the reason I picked this one is because it can be controlled with uh supported
4:00
device I believe yeah so there's an app available on the App Store so I'll show
4:03
it off with the iPad but it is also compatible with Spectrum based radio so
4:08
I have a spectrum a crap what is it
4:13
dx6i or something along those lines the X7 something something like that anyway
4:17
I have a spectrum radio so I've never actually flown a quadricopter other than
4:21
the AR drone so I've certainly never flown one with a radio I've always or
4:25
with a transmitter I've always used a tablet or smartphone so I just kind of
4:28
wanted to try it out so I said yeah sure sure I'll uh I'll have a look at this
4:31
one so it supports iPhone iPad products with the required with the Wi-Fi module
4:36
supports uh okay yeah yeah yeah oh yeah and it has a built-in camera with a
4:40
firstperson view functionality so let's go ahead and pop it open so obviously
4:44
it's no AR drone but what it does have
4:47
going for it is that it is smaller and lower cost and of course due to its
4:52
smaller nature it has less momentum when it crashes so I would expect it to do
4:57
reasonably well in crashes with nice flexible propellers as well as this is
5:01
actually kind of smart colorcoded front and back propellers this is going to
5:06
allow you to clearly and easily Orient yourself against sort of where the
5:10
device is probably pointed when you're under it or looking at it from far away
5:14
so you'll know which way is forward and which way is back it charges using I
5:19
have no idea because I haven't gotten that far yet this is the first time I've
5:23
taken it out of the box and I'm not making any progress while I sit here and
5:27
try to stall for time and and we figured
5:30
it out so there's a little panel in the top here or in the bottom rather that
5:33
just pops out like this well whatever it's popped out now so don't worry too
5:37
much about it here's the antenna for the
5:40
receiver and then also in here we find a battery 3.7 volt 600 mamp power battery
5:46
that slots into here when you're running and then an included charger for said
5:50
battery all right and finally whatever the devil this is bind
5:56
plug oh okay and then also so full
6:00
instructions including look at that a user's manual on disk so much like other
6:04
Wi-Fi enabled remote control devices you connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot that is
6:08
actually created by the quadricopter so in this case it was WK 0971
6:14
0108 then you can launch the
6:24
app all right so we got the uh we got the aircraft put together with some
6:28
helpful Googling we were able to figure out that it's the WK remote app because
6:34
it doesn't say anywhere on the packaging or anything it should be noted that I got a little bit confused by some of the
6:39
documentation because there are two separate versions one is the Wi-Fi
6:42
version which you can only fly with an iOS device the other is the fpv advanced
6:46
control version so I don't think without changing over the module I can actually
6:50
fly this with the Spectrum remote like I was hoping to so there you go the camera
6:55
in the front is actually better than I expected so there's a pinhole camera
6:59
right there and I've got the app open right here so you guys can have a look
7:04
at approximately what it looks like so
7:07
yeah it's it's only an iPhone version of the app so you have to run in 2x mode
7:11
here look it's b-roll um but yeah let's go ahead Let's Take It Outside and go
7:14
for a test flight well let's see if I can handle this you can apparently
7:18
either use gyroscopic control or joystick control
7:22
so no apparently that's not it okay so
7:25
take off is here oh y Barb my throttle
7:33
H fascinating do I need the power button
7:39
perhaps heard something over there
7:44
okay uh whoa there it goes all righty
7:48
then okay let's set her down for a second okay it took a little while to uh
7:52
to connect there evidently okay so this guy right here is there we go going to
7:56
be throttle let's go up a little bit shall
8:00
we let's go a little to the that's oh hey okay so I've got the oh so I've got
8:06
the gyroscopic control going on now which is going to make this a lot easier
8:10
to fly however you're still going to want to be careful with the uh the
8:14
throttle there because unlike the AR drone this does not have height adjust
8:19
so you got to you got to find your own neutral point when it comes
8:23
to um lifting off or coming back down
8:26
and it can pretty much go as high as as
8:30
it can go I can tell you already that the the white and orange propellers are
8:35
definitely important for orienting this device visually so let's go ahead let's
8:39
have a look at what kind of speed we can get out of it so there's forward there's
8:44
back oh please come down not that fast you got this you got
8:49
this buddy okay let's go visit
8:53
Boll heyo okay we're not going to quite
8:56
quite visit him that close whoa please don't crash
9:00
oh okay huh pretty
9:04
intuitive pretty uh interesting to fly
9:10
whoa well I imagine it would take me a little while to get the hang of it but
9:13
there you have it guys um I don't know why don't we crash it and see if we can
9:17
break it I mean that's what you guys pay me
9:21
good money to do right break things come on buddy you can do it so
9:26
there is a power button so you do have to actually power the uh the
9:30
quadricopter on in order to get it to go
9:33
I wonder if I managed to break it already let's oh wellow that flipped the orientation of the uh thing here so a
9:38
quick reset and we're back in Action still using the gyroscopic control so
9:42
let's go ahead and I don't know let's give her about a 10t fall and see what
9:48
happens cut the power oh didn't cut the
9:51
power good enough okay let's try that again oh I flipped the orientation again
9:54
so power onto the device and boom go go
9:57
lift off
10:01
and oh don't go over the neighbor's yard cut the
10:04
power all right not bad it manages to stay up right so I think that pretty
10:09
much wraps it up thank you for checking out my unboxing and overview of the well
10:15
variety of things that we got from bangood.com thanks to bangood.com for
10:18
providing this stuff to be perfectly honest with you guys I was in it for the
10:21
horse head so there you go now you know my filthy secret don't forget to

thought that is just more complicated than liking and disliking something
