0:00 PAX East 2017 unfortunately for the
0:03 attendees is over and with it comes the end of the Intel extreme rig challenge
0:09 all of the contestants have completed their seventh generation core i7
0:13 processor and 600p SSD powered computers
0:16 if you haven't seen the leadup videos for this project you can start with
0:19 episode one right up here but now we have the final Awards and spoils the
0:25 seven teams that made it out of 12 include Ava direct or PC iby power main
0:32 gear cyber power PC zyx and
0:35 NC and they were competing in four different categories most creative best
0:41 engineered highest performance and most
0:44 appeasing to you also known as Community Choice the first category to be decided
0:49 was most creative and the top three system builders in this category were
0:53 zyx NC PC and cyber power cyber power
0:58 went for a really unique look and they accomplished this by utilizing copper
1:02 piping and using a deframe chassis from inwind which is really rare and helped
1:07 make a pipe frame style aesthetic they also use copper and orange as their main
1:12 colors which are not very common and really help them Stand Out zidax went
1:16 with this really cool looking monochrome water cooling setup with one Loop being
1:20 set up with black liquid and another loop being set up with white liquid and
1:25 then contrasted that monochrome with possibly the most RGB enabled fan hands
1:30 I have ever seen in a single case and
1:33 three individual lighting controllers that were accessible from outside of the
1:37 case to control all of those freaking fans NC inspired by ASUS's Gladius and
1:43 spatha mice went with an impeccably detailed engraving throughout their
1:47 entire system and fully utiliz thermales
1:50 RGB water cooling fittings with white pastel liquid cooling to great effect
1:56 and it really made their system pop when the dust was set and all the votes were
2:01 finally cast The Grand winner of the most creative category was cyber power
2:06 PC with zidax and NC tying for second
2:10 next up was best engineered and the top three systems voted in by the judges
2:15 were ncx zidax and Ava direct now we
2:20 just took a look at zida and NCI so we're going to go directly to Ava direct
2:25 and clean and pristine must have been the marching orders at Ava when they
2:30 were designing this system from the color palette to the aluminium cable
2:35 Combs chosen just to perfectly manage all of their cables to the water cooling
2:40 setup in general it comes together in a
2:44 computer that is just refreshing to look at but in the end when all was said and
2:49 done NC took first place with Ava direct
2:52 coming in right behind them and zyx pulling a solid third then we come to a
2:58 category with no judges no Community judges no judge panel this is
3:02 performance you have to win with a score in this one and the top three systems
3:07 were Ava direct zidax for a third
3:10 freaking time and iby power iby power
3:14 system was the legendary snow blind which we've actually featured on our
3:17 Channel twice in the past it features an
3:21 awesome side panel which is a translucent monitor which you can do
3:25 with pretty much whatever you want you can do anything that you would do on a
3:28 normal monitor over there but it's recommended that you run a rain meter
3:31 setup which will show all your system settings which is actually pretty badass
3:35 inside that side panel you see an extremely white overall aesthetic with
3:41 very intense LEDs because they have to generate a lot of light and bounce a lot
3:46 of light around in order to have it come through that translucent side panel but
3:52 when the numbers came in for performance Ava direct claimed a strong first place
3:57 with zidax and iby Power claiming second and third respectively which leaves us
4:03 with the grand prize the Community Choice Awards there was
4:08 12644 votes cast against the 12 original
4:11 teams that were entered in this contest
4:15 but above all others was origin PC and I
4:19 get it their computer or computers should I say at this point are epic to
4:24 explain what I mean by that they're running two individual VR ready systems
4:29 within the same electric blue chassis
4:32 each system is revealed through its own translucent monitor on its own side
4:37 panel talk about using the budget I think origin really went with the two
4:41 computers for the price of Awesome on this one if you want to play VR games
4:45 with a friend or spouse at home look no further this computer perfectly fits
4:50 that albeit relatively small Niche and
4:53 with that the Intel extreme rig challenge of 2017 is concluded thank you
4:59 to all the system builders for participating win or lose you guys all
5:03 had spectacular systems thanks to Intel
5:06 for doing this again and letting me be a part of it and last but not least at all
5:10 thanks to you guys for watching and commenting and voting let me know in the
5:14 comments down below if you'd be interested in seeing Intel do this again
5:18 next year and with that I'll see you guys next time
