0:18 so and they've got a new mouse that
0:21 pretty much takes the Rock and moves it
0:25 and digs up all the Earth and completely turns everything on its head because
0:28 this right here is the g602 and it's nothing like the g600 or
0:33 really anything else we've ever seen before can you tell us what are the key innovations that you've brought to the
0:38 table with this mouse so the big thing with the 602 is uh battery life so it's
0:42 a new wireless mouse in our line it does not replace the 700s we still be have
0:47 the 700s in our line as a rechargeable uh gaming mouse the 602 is a wireless
0:52 gaming mouse that uh has 250 hours of
0:55 non-stop gaming battery life uh and so
0:58 you've got a you've got a custom proprietary battery pack in there can you show me that sure show show me that
1:02 special battery pack that you use that's a special AA twoa Duracell battery pack

1:11 what can you do to optimize the power of a mouse because when you when you think
1:14 low power you think Eco you think like if I told you it's an eco car you'd go
1:19 well then it's not very fast uh what have you done to make this perform well
1:23 and be Eco so to speak yeah so this the
1:26 sensor uh you're right we put all of our emphasis into the sensor
1:30 uh which is what draws most of the power in a gaming in a wireless mouse um but
1:34 we didn't skimp on any of the performance so it's has a a sensor that's very similar to what you have in
1:38 the 100s or the 400s very very accurate very precise um it does have a 250 DPI
1:44 uh sensor in there um did you mean 2500 oh sorry yeah 2500 uh 250 to 2500 that's
1:51 the range thank you for correcting me and um a lot of the emphasis been into
1:55 the power management on the sensor so when it's in performance mode uh you get
1:59 full full capabilities out of the mouse and that's where you get the 250 hours
2:03 of battery life and then in endurance mode uh when you're using it for
2:07 non-gaming purposes it actually will do a lot more of turning the sensor on and
2:11 off and fluctuating how the power is used and you get up to 1,400 hours of
2:15 usage with it now this to me it looks not quite like the g600 where you can
2:20 really look at it and you go yeah that's an MMO Mouse this to me looks like it's
2:24 more of a more of a tweener where it could be used for MMO use or FPS use can
2:28 you show us all the buttons and tell us about the default bindings on the mouse
2:31 sure so it has 11 uh controls on it uh when we announced this earlier in the
2:35 week there were a lot of people who were actually saying they did want to use it for MMOs that 20 buttons was just maybe
2:40 a little too much for them um we have six buttons on the thumb panel here um
2:45 and one of those is for uh uh mode indicator as the default um I also have
2:50 two buttons here that are DPI shift up and down got on the fly up to five settings
2:56 and then of course we've got primary uh keys on the the switches are one
2:59 underneath the scroll wheel so that's 11 in
3:02 all and there's endurance mode which I
3:06 mean are you realistically expect I mean if someone can game for 250 hours
3:10 non-stop is there a realistic reason why a gamer would even use endurance mode
3:14 that much uh there may be people who want to really extend the life of the
3:17 batteries um but uh you know a lot of us have been using prototypes for a couple
3:21 of months and we've been in performance mode the whole time and uh haven't
3:25 actually gotten to the end of a batter set of batteries yet now speaking of
3:28 getting to the end of a set of batteries I think a big uh a big a big problem for
3:32 gamers is often swapping batteries in and out uh can you show us sort of how
3:36 quickly you could swap a battery in and out of this bad boy sure I mean I don't
3:41 have another another set of batteries but it's very very easy to just pop that
3:44 that out battery's out now hold on hold
3:47 on this is why I wanted you to do this you got one battery in there can the mouse One battery oh no oh oh what
3:53 happens uh it keeps running right so the the the sensor uh requires so little
3:58 power that I can actually just put one battery in there and I'm I'm just fine
4:02 so I just take Take One battery out and we're ready to go now this isn't
4:06 necessarily sort I was kind of joking with them about well you can swap one in
4:09 swap in another one that's not really the point but the point from my
4:12 perspective is you look at it and you go well what if you don't want the weight of two AA batteries it's not a
4:17 particularly heavy Mouse to start with but if you wanted to lighten it up a
4:21 little bit you can actually run it with one battery and you're still looking at
4:24 125 hours of continuous gaming now when you Benchmark that you mean like uh on a
4:29 on a basis of sort of a normalized well if someone gam for 4 hours a day then it
4:33 would last approximately this many hours how are you benchmarking it now so uh we
4:37 do a run to die test and that's how we Benchmark the 250 hours so we basically
4:42 put it on a test bed that activates the sensor continuously put a fresh set of
4:46 batteries in and then we wait until the batteries are dead so you mentioned the
4:49 world record for gaming continuously was how many hours uh it's like about 143
4:54 hours straight so that gentleman would
4:57 not necessarily be able to make do with just one battery probably have to put
5:02 both of them in then yeah if you want to go for Guinness world you need both
5:05 batteries everyone else should be okay though you know what this is fantastic
5:09 you've also got your mouse pad do you want to give us a very brief run through of that before we move on yeah sure so
5:13 uh the one that we have here is the g440 this is a hard gaming mouse pad it's
5:18 semi- rigid polymer uh core uh this is
5:21 really designed for people who do a high sensitivity gaming um it has a very low
5:26 friction surface which you can see it kind of runs like a air hockey
5:30 uh table against the mouse uh Mouse feet
5:33 um the uh the 440 and the 240 which is a
5:37 cloth uh flexible uh mouse pad that's more for low low DPI gaming low
5:41 sensitivity gaming um both of them have been tested to work across the entire
5:45 line of Logitech uh gaming mice uh they actually improve the performance of of
5:49 what are already great accuracy and precision um and regardless of whether
5:54 you're using optical sensors or laser sensors either one of them is great for
