0:12
store Booth I'm not sure how many of you watching actually watch the live stream
0:16
um but if you do you might know that we actually run a plexor M5 in our server
0:20
that runs our Forum so I'm kind of I have a feel a nice little personal
0:24
attachment to plexor because I do use their drives in one in something that I
0:28
have to try and maintain and control all points in time so when I came to the
0:32
booth I asked if they had anything new and I expected maybe a new revision of
0:35
the M5 or something like that but no they have a new M6 coming out it is so
0:40
new that the chips don't actually even have labels on them they're using new
0:43
tashiba chips that were announced a day or two ago but I don't have tons of
0:46
information on that this is going to come in 128 GB 256 GB and 512 GB
0:52
capacities it's very fast running at sequential rights up to 540 megab per
0:57
second and sequential reads up to 4 70 megabit per second um on the on the
1:02
large model but we'll probably get the 256 GB model which is running actually
1:07
almost the same speeds I'm very excited to hopefully get one of these in and
1:10
test them on my SSD testing bench line it up against all the other drives that
1:13
we have and see exactly how fast it Compares maybe I'm in for an upgrade on
1:17
an SSD for our server so we'll see at that point thanks for checking out our
