0:07 So today we're going to be doing an unboxing of the half
0:10 932 but this is actually a special half
0:13 932 you can't tell from that side of the box but on this side you can see that
0:19 this is the half 932 Black Edition so
0:22 the half 932 is already a very well regarded wellestablished gaming case in
0:28 its own right but the Black Edition adds a few features so you've got better or
0:34 improved GPU cooling okay you have a
0:37 transparent side window remember the half 932 has kind of a h smoked style
0:45 side window you've also got uh support for two ssds and it comes with two 230
0:52 mm fans so let's go ahead get this box
0:56 open and I'm just going to show you guys the packing materials then I'm going to
1:00 unbox it and then I'm going to kind of come back so we've got your standard
1:04 kind of this is a a semi soft kind of foam so it's not super brittle but it's
1:08 also not a closed cell phone that you see on some cases so let me just dump it
1:12 out and I'll be back in a sec since the half 932 Black Edition
1:17 isn't actually that different from the regular half this is going to be more of
1:21 a look at the half 932 and uh with a
1:24 special highlight on the features that are different about the Black Edition so
1:27 we've got the large Clear Window window here so that is one of the key
1:31 differences other than that the case looks pretty much the same from the
1:35 outside so we'll start on this side okay you've got side vents here
1:40 you've got that half branding on the on the side of the case here you've got uh
1:45 on the top actually on the top is interesting because you've got support
1:49 for a 230 mm fan or you have support for
1:52 dual 120 mm fans so that gives you the
1:56 ability to add a liquid cooling radiator for example
2:00 or to use two smaller fans if you want to use your own cuz it's hard to find
2:04 aftermarket 230 mil fans here you've got
2:08 a spot for a fill Port which which is awesome I mean everyone should include
2:12 room for a fill port in their case cuz it costs nothing all you do is drill a
2:15 hole and then the water cooling guys are pretty happy and then you've also got a
2:18 little rubberized thing here for putting you know screws or bounced right off
2:23 screws or lens caps caps so they won't move and you won't get lost we have a
2:27 reset switch power switch on the front of the case we've got front USB 2 four
2:33 ports we have fire wire eat as well as a
2:36 microphone and headphone jack we've got our power light as well as our hard
2:40 drive LED so the 5 and 1/4 in bays are
2:43 removed quite easily from this particular case you just press in the
2:47 things from the side they pop out you're going to have to punch these out in
2:51 order to install drives but that's no big deal so one 65 and 1/4 in Baye so
2:56 let me just go ahead and throw that back in there there we are
3:00 and then let's see if there's any trick to the front can't remember for the life
3:04 of me how this works
3:10 H okay uh on the other
3:13 side not really much of note vents here
3:16 but that's about it actually I'm going to need a screwdriver just a second at
3:20 the back we see one of the features that's great about the half 932 that is
3:23 the option to either install your power supply in the top or in the bottom so
3:27 you can do whichever you prefer all you have to do is take out a plate here and
3:32 then you have can move it down to the other spot install your power supply
3:36 wherever you please we've also got a 140 mm/ 120 mm fan Mount so you can mount
3:41 either kind of fan you desire and 7 PCI
3:45 expansion slots which is standard so the half X actually has more and is
3:51 compatible with XL ATX motherboards whereas the half 932 is intended for
3:57 your standard ATX motherboard
4:01 all right so why don't we start from the front or rather from the side okay so
4:06 the first thing we see here is a GPU duct all right that's fairly obvious it
4:11 does come out if you don't want to use it so there's a couple thumb screws
4:14 holding it in but it's there so I guess you might as well you might as well make
4:18 use of it it looks
4:24 like you could probably put a fan in there yep it's got mounting holes for
4:29 120 mm fan so that's going to give you air flow directly over your graphics
4:34 cards to make sure that they do not overheat in any way I mean you've also
4:38 got a 230 mm fan here at the front of the case but what this does is it just
4:43 uh it it provides a push pull scenario so where if you have a ton of drives
4:47 here and it's a restrictive space you're going to be able to force more air
4:50 through the front of the case directly over the GPU by setting up both of those
4:54 fans So speaking of drives we have support for five three and a half inch
5:00 drives we have one SSD rail here and
5:04 then supposedly support for another SSD somewhere but I'll have to figure out
5:08 where that is a little bit later on in the process here because I don't see it
5:13 yet H interesting okay down here we've
5:17 got our power supply Mount we've got support for up to oh this is cool so
5:22 we've got support for up to two 120 mm
5:26 fans down here in the bottom of the case so that is if you put your power supply
5:30 here you can have that as an intake on the case we have toolless oh yeah I
5:34 should show you guys this toolless mounting for all of
5:38 our uh for all of our drives so it doesn't look very solid but as soon as
5:43 you put a drive in it it actually solids right up and uh holds the drive very
5:49 securely it's actually one of the more one of the more impressive toolless
5:52 Drive holders that I have seen in
5:55 my I guess I can say it years of unboxing products so there you go uh
6:01 tool is 5 and 1/4 in so these are just
6:04 the push button sort all right up here we've got all of those internal cables
6:09 so you got your eSATA your front power your front switches your front USB audio
6:15 fir wire everything is all right there so here's some accessories I'm guessing
6:19 we're going to find another 3 and 1/2 in to 2 and 1/2 in adapter inside here for
6:26 the other SSD and we don't okay here is
6:29 an pin power adapter this is a very very
6:32 uh thoughtful inclusion from Cooler Master because not all power supplies
6:36 reach all the way from the bottom up to the eight pin on the top of your motherboard so they've included this
6:41 just in case your power supply manufacturer has made one with short cables here's an a 5 1/4 in to 3 and 1/2
6:46 in adapter so if you want to turn one of those front 5 and 1/4 inch pays into a
6:50 card reader or floppy drive if you still need a floppy drive then you can go
6:54 ahead and do that here we have all the screws and zip ties you're going to need
6:57 to build your system as well as wheels so this is a steel case it's a heavy
7:02 case especially once you load it up with Hardware Hardware so it does come with
7:06 casters so that you don't have trouble moving it
7:10 around all right other features let's see I guess we're getting pretty close
7:14 so here's our other 230 mm fan this is not an LED one the one in the front
7:19 however is uh we do have a CPU cutout so
7:23 what that means is that you can swap your CPU Cooler even without taking out
7:27 the motherboard even if it uses a back plate you got your standard spot for
7:31 your IO here and you know what I'm going to do I'm actually going to take a break
7:35 I'm going to find out where that other SSD Mount is and I'll let you guys know
7:40 found it it's in one of the 5 and 1/4 in Bays right here so you've got one 3 and
7:45 1/2 to 2.5 in you've got one 5 and 1/4
7:49 in to 2.5 in so you can mount up to two ssds natively in the case and uh then
7:55 four hard drives and 1 two 3 four five
7:58 five 5 and 1/4 in devices all at the same time so thank you for checking out
