0:00 welcome to another update from the Crazy Russian laboratory so we've actually got
0:06 a production model of the Vesta i1 and I
0:09 just wanted to sort of run you guys through it in terms of the key
0:13 differences between the Prototype model the one here that was on display at the
0:18 NC Tech fair and the actual production model so the one on the tech fair I
0:22 already covered this has the vinyl uh
0:26 blue rainbowy stripey thing going on okay so we had already said that the
0:30 production ones weren't going to come with that it also has an underg glowy
0:33 thing going on that isn't available yet but hopefully will be coming at some
0:37 point in the future other than that
0:40 except for the hardware choices that the customer makes they are the same darn
0:44 thing so come here and check this out you can see that the carbon fiber vinyl
0:49 wrap is actually of exactly the same quality done by the same shop with the
0:53 same procedure as the one that was in our you know special golden sample unit
0:58 so you can see same all the details are
1:02 very well detailed and then when it comes to the internal cabling so the
1:06 Prototype was built by the Crazy Russian himself with the utmost care and
1:10 attention because it's our prototype and we do all of our marketing based on that
1:14 prototype unit all right so there's that
1:18 see pretty tidy looks pretty good looks pretty clean okay and the production
1:23 system was built by a random one of our
1:27 techs downstairs in our production facility and you can can see once again
1:31 pretty tight pretty clean looks awesome so we're just showing you guys the key
1:36 difference between a production system and a non-production system which
1:39 evidently is not a whole lot so this
1:43 particular customer has gone within ASUS direct cu2 graphics card that's got
1:47 their thick heat pipes on it and there're this is actually a special
1:51 configuration where they're using an S shape on the heat pipes in order to get
1:54 the best efficiency possible out of them that should be a 670 I believe is that a
1:59 that's got to be a 670 okay so oh yeah there right on the back GTX 670 uh he's
2:04 also decreased the RAM down to only 8
2:07 gigs of RAM or maybe potentially 16 gigs of RAM yep 16 gigs of RAM and then you
2:12 can see the Sabertooth uh placeholders are in their well their place that is
2:17 being held by those uh we've got the Corsair h100 in here everything else is
2:21 pretty much exactly what you'd find in the uh in the Prototype system except
2:27 you know okay well know that's the same SSD except he's added an optical drive
2:31 which you can see doesn't decrease the sexiness factor of it and uh I think
2:36 that's pretty much all there is to say about it you can see it's uh being
2:40 burned in for um billion hours on Prime 95 just because that's how the Crazy
2:44 Russian rolls we want to make sure that whatever happens with these uh sort of
2:49 letter number systems these are our premium premium systems so they do go
2:53 through extensive validation to make sure that they are 100% ready to rock
2:57 before they ship out and I think I think yeah that pretty much covers it so thank
3:02 you for checking out our little Showcase of a fresh off the production line ready
3:06 to ship to a customer Vesta i1 oh and
3:09 also the carbon fiber case is going to be available on a couple other systems
3:13 including the G2 and the Corsair dream machine so if you do want one of these
3:17 carbon fiber cases and you don't necessarily want the Vesta I one you
3:20 will be able to get one hopefully very soon
