0:05 massdrop find them at the link in the video description
0:09 so we are at one of the trippiest booths here at the show behind me is what is
0:14 called a hypervision display wall or
0:18 something like that it's freaking cool the brand that makes
0:22 it is hypervision and it is unlike anything else i've ever seen now to be
0:27 clear like 10 years ago i had a case fan for my computer that had leds on it that
0:33 you could program to put some text in this is like that
0:37 and it's been at the gym for the last 10 years and it's been roided up as all
0:42 hell so each one of these spinning displays
0:45 has four blades with over 200 micro leds
0:50 per blade that gives you an effective 4k
0:53 resolution per fan so you can upload a
0:57 3d movie or a 3d animated video to
1:01 create a pseudo 3d image and the crazy
1:04 thing about it is because it is lifted off of the background it's got this like
1:09 pseudo 3d effect that even like looks
1:12 three-dimensional when you look at it from the side i asked them how it worked
1:16 and they basically went secret sauce
1:20 it's amazing so each one of these fans has internal processing we got them to
1:24 admit that there's some kind of CPU memory and storage for content but they
1:30 wouldn't give us any real details about how that works it'll cost you a whopping
1:36 three thousand two hundred and forty dollars per fan so this is mostly
1:40 intended for commercial applications but
1:44 let's say you kind of goable g-liners i got a lot more than that to spend
1:47 and i want more than one fan so the video walls behind me they're just
1:51 launching these at the show here well you can rent the small one for 30 grand
1:55 and the big one for 50. in the future
1:58 they do plan to offer these to things like uh retail spaces for demonstrations
2:04 but there's no word yet on availability or pricing now in terms of the content
2:09 that can be displayed on these they have a strict certification process for
2:13 studios that are authorized to create content for them because they're very
2:17 protective of how good the content looks and i can imagine why because everything
2:22 they're showing here looks absolutely mind blowing so the way that you get
2:27 content to it is it's all cloud managed so each one of these has a wi-fi or
2:32 Ethernet connection to pull down the video that it needs so you can use any
2:36 3d animation software like maya or cinema 4d to create
2:41 massive animations like this and thanks to the way that the fan blades are
2:46 actually slightly offset on the walls the appearance is nearly seamless
2:53 speaking of seamless here's my transition to our sponsor spot the akg
2:57 k7xx from mass drop features an open back design memory foam ear pads and a
3:02 leather headband it's a great sounding headphone at a great price and for 200
3:07 bucks you can get it delivered to you at the link in the video description
3:12 so thanks for watching guys you can dislike or you can like you can uh
