0:00 so the cameraman asked me to do a quick video showing the Rampage 3 Extreme uh
0:05 with all of its lights and stuff so uh I
0:08 thought that was not a terribly bad idea so I'm just going to actually there's
0:12 probably one more cable I should plug in here just in case I end up needing it so
0:18 there we go plug in the eight pin so basically even when the board is off you
0:21 still got the Republic of Gamers logo which will light up um oh shoot I wish
0:27 you could see that it's so bright in here can you turn the light off I don't
0:30 think you can oh well okay so can you
0:33 see that at all there you go okay there so it has like a pulsating red glow to
0:37 it and then your start and reset switches are also illuminated so you
0:41 could see them in the dark if you were you know testing on a on a bench like
0:46 extreme benching session lead at night in the dark although I don't really
0:50 recommend that okay so then we're going to go ahead and press the button so
0:53 here's some of the other lights oh I hit myself on the fan again okay so you see
0:58 it does a quick test CPU RAM and then
1:01 it's probably going to test finish testing the RAM yeah then it moves on to
1:04 VGA and then we get a beep code because there is no video card installed so
1:10 that's one of the cool features that this board has and then other than that
1:14 I don't think we have too many other indicator oh yeah no here's another cool
1:17 one this is a good one right there you can see that the
1:21 DDR is green so it is labeled underneath
1:24 I don't know if you can read it or not but it says DDR normal and then high and
1:29 then crazy so uh that that led will
1:32 actually move up as you have your your RAM voltage higher and higher so that's
1:37 a pretty cool little feature and then this one is a Southbridge normal high
1:41 crazy then there is a North Bridge oh
1:44 CPU indicator over here so that'll show you how high your CPU voltage is with a
1:49 little uh colorcoded meter and then there's probably one for the North
1:52 Bridge somewhere yeah here it is North Bridge is right there so that's a pretty
1:56 cool little feature on this board that's also to do with all the lights and then
2:01 um oh what's this for BIOS 1 LED and then is there a BIOS
2:08 2 led oh cool so it shows you which of
2:12 the okay because this is a feature of this board that's really neat you can
2:15 actually load two separate BIOS profiles and then boot from whichever BIOS you
2:19 want so maybe I have BIOS 1 set to my 247 overclock and then I use BIOS 2 for
2:25 any like extreme testing that I want to do that way I don't have to Tinker with
2:29 any of my regular everyday settings so this led right here turns on when you're
2:34 using BIOS chip 1 and this led over here turns on when you're using BIOS chip 2
2:39 that's pretty cool too so that concludes my overview of the LED lights that are
2:45 included with the Rampage 3 Extreme oh
2:48 yeah this one doesn't pulsate when the system is actually on ow I touched the
2:52 fan again it just here I just want to do
2:55 this so you can see how red it glows yeah see it glows really good now thanks
2:59 for checking out my video don't forget to subscribe
