0:00 freshbooks is the number one cloud-based accounting software for Freelancers
0:04 check them out at the link in the video description so I have to give ASUS
0:10 credit for this they along with everyone
0:14 else and their dogs built a laptop that
0:18 is by any reasonable account not really
0:23 very portable this is the gx800 but ASUS they thought gee how are
0:30 people going to move this and they created the choice of
0:35 Champions rolling luggage which lets you
0:38 put your external water cooling solution for your gx800 laptop into a
0:44 conveniently carriable or rollable carton that you can bring
0:49 around with you wherever it is that you want to take this device now they also
0:54 thought of this unlike some of the other ones we've checked out ASUS lets you
0:59 actually disconnect the laptop
1:03 itself do I have to wait a minute just pull up there we go look at that from
1:08 the dock that contains two 120 mm water
1:12 cooling radiators a bunch of LEDs a
1:15 bunch of tubing a pump a power input
1:18 which I'll explain a little bit more later and finally check that out oh look
1:23 at that look at that sliding action right there right there is two quick
1:28 disconnect fittings that actually come off of the water cooling pipes that are
1:33 inside the laptop here to handle cooling the CPU and GPU letting it run
1:39 Standalone so it's an 18 no 18in display
1:44 4K so uh and I believe that is uh that's
1:47 an IPS display looking good you guys I'm liking it in terms of IO you get SD you
1:52 get two USB 3s and this is a funny one
1:55 they have a little spot for an external antenna Accord to ASUS you don't have to
2:01 use it again it's all about the options you can plug an external antenna in put
2:05 it like somewhere else and you will get significantly improved Wireless
2:08 performance pretty cool haven't tried it for myself but I plan to they're going to be sending one of these over right
2:13 here they have created one of the most custom power plugs I've ever seen this
2:18 is connected to a 330 W power brick that
2:21 is under the table here and the reason that you need that and the second one
2:26 that goes into the docking station is that the hardware and inside this baby
2:30 is unreal first though gigabit Lan HDMI mini DisplayPort super speed type-c
2:35 Thunderbolt type-c more USB 3 and dedicated microphone and headphone Jacks
2:39 so inside here is a core i7 7820 HQ
2:43 that's an overclockable skew 64 gigs of RAM 1 tbte of raid zero NVMe storage you
2:49 got an additional Bay for a 2 and 1/2 in Drive some of these specs might be
2:53 subject to change especially storage and RAM depending on the region because
2:56 that's how these guys roll and you've also got two G GTX 1080s running in SLI
3:02 so you get much of the performance with a single cable an option that most other
3:08 SLI 1080 notebooks do not provide where
3:11 they just have like a like a weird adapter and I don't know how they behave
3:15 if you plug only one cable in and then you get full unrestricted performance if
3:20 you plug in both bunch of other high-end
3:23 stuff on this guy you've got a full individually back lit RGB keyboard as
3:27 well as three different profile so you can save all your Macros save all your
3:31 color schemes and all that good stuff and I guess gee what else would I even
3:36 really say about it other than this thing is this thing is bananes I mean
3:40 look at that interface at the back there's that power that custom power
3:44 ring thing they got going on there's the guides there's the uh the quick
3:47 disconnects which by the way only leave a mild dampness on either side so you
3:53 can unplug and plug it in many many times over so there you have it it's
3:58 heavy but it's powerful and from my
4:02 experience with it so far it's actually quite quiet and it can be air or water
4:06 cooled that's right my ARM's
4:11 tired so thanks for watching guys make sure you get subscribed so you don't
