0:01 NZXT brought us to Exotics Racing Las Vegas why why does that make any sense
0:07 stay tuned to find out thank you to Squarespace for sending us to CES 2016
0:11 this year check out their website squarespace.com Linus and use offer code
0:14 Linus to save 10% so NZXT brought us here to check out
0:19 this case it doesn't have a name it doesn't have a price point um but that
0:24 part of it was designed after a car a nice car that's why on the top of the
0:28 case you'll see a little bit of a divot um personally that's all I can find in
0:33 terms of why it looks like a car but there's some other cool things about it
0:37 as well all of the panels are curved steel they're saying that this is the
0:40 first time this has happened with a computer case I don't know of any other
0:44 ones that have curved steel I know some ones that have curved plastic so they
0:48 may be right that kind of a window not really a window cuz it's solid black
0:52 will eventually be either a clear window a tinted window or no window at all
0:56 depending on what model you get the crazy NZXT deck all over it that makes
1:01 it look like a new car announcement uh will be removed on the model that you
1:05 buy and it will be a very solid color and they're also going to be launching
1:09 in a potential matte white look which could be pretty cool the front and right
1:14 hand side of the case are fairly self-explanatory the bottom has two
1:18 bowed legs with some rubber feet on it to help it so it not slide around your
1:22 table the back of the case is fairly self-explanatory again but we learned
1:26 some information here again enxt told us basically nothing but you can see it's
1:31 probably an mitx board with a standard ATX power supply peering in through the
1:36 back I learned a few things that I can make as assumptions but one disclaimer I
1:42 have to put here is one of the reasons why they didn't show us the inside of the case is all of this is subject to
1:46 change it did look like there was a basement it did look like there was two
1:51 140 mm fans in the front and maybe
1:54 mounting holes for 140 or 120 in the top
1:57 I definitely saw mounting holes for 14 40 and 120 but no fans up there and in
2:02 the back there was mounting holes and a fan which was 120 mm also on the back I
2:08 see a little switch that leads right to a circuit board which I'm going to
2:12 assume is for maybe a mini Hue
2:15 controller so you can control lighting inside the case although I'm not
2:18 entirely sure that could also be for a fan controller but I don't it's just
2:22 click in or click out I'm not sure we'll have to see once they actually announce
2:26 it on January 26 just as a note for you
2:29 guys also so I think that I saw some header cables for fans just laying
2:34 inside the case meaning that they probably have some version of a grid I
2:37 wouldn't be that surprised if they included other things that they've made
2:41 within this case jumping back to the outside there's a removable fan filter
2:45 for the power supply just in case you want it to be intaking from the bottom
2:48 up on top of the case there's two USB 3.0 ports a power button on the left
2:53 hand side and two audio jacks 3.5 mm
2:56 ones for headphone and microphone just ahead of those headphone and mic
2:59 microphone jacks there is also a little bit of a covered part which is probably
3:03 going to be impossible to really pick up in the fancy b-roll here but there is
3:07 probably going to be a little activity light there whatever they decide to call
3:11 this thing it's fairly interesting it's not the standard take that we've been
3:15 seeing lately for an ITX case traditionally with ITX cases we've been
3:19 getting smaller and smaller this one actually takes it up a notch is that a
3:24 good thing I don't know I see a lot of people these days going for ITX because
3:28 they don't need any more that and it's totally fine for everything that they
3:32 need because there's no overclocking differences or anything else this seems to be an interesting take on an ITX case
3:37 I'm definitely going to have to see it more properly Hands-On in the office
3:40 when I can actually look at the inside of it but just by looking at its size it
3:45 could maybe be a little bit smaller especially because it doesn't have any OD slots but that could be a stylistic
3:51 thing for you people lately are going for ITX systems not necessarily just
3:55 because they're small but because they don't need any more than one expansion
3:59 slot so we'll have to see what people do with it it's an interesting case
4:02 nonetheless and Z xt's take on an ITX case is actually kind of interesting
4:07 lately what we've been seeing in this department is just smaller and smaller and smaller and cram everything in as
4:11 small as a space you can and hopefully it can cool itself uh but the cooling on
4:16 this guy is supposed to be comparable to some of their other much larger cases
4:20 and if you're someone who's going for an ITX system just cuz you don't need more
4:23 than one expansion card you might still want a big nice window and a fancy
4:28 looking case and hey maybe that's applicable we'll have to see on the 26
4:33 thank you to Squarespace for sponsoring us here at CES 2016 this year just a
4:37 little tidbit our company website is hosted on Squarespace so we also
4:41 wouldn't have that website if it wasn't for Squarespace I don't know if whatever
4:45 you can host your company website on Squarespace pretty easily it's not a
4:49 hard system to use and if you need help they have 247 live chat and email
4:54 support they have a whole bunch of different templates they also have
4:57 Commerce modules so if you want to post a website where you put car-like deal on
5:02 computers you could do that through Squarespace that would be fine you could
5:06 sell your services it's it's no big deal Squarespace build it beautiful go to
5:11 squarespace.com Linus use offer code Linus for 10% off thank you guys for
