0:00 so today I'm going to be having a look at the Zotac Meg mini all-in-one giant
0:05 okay so that is literally what it's called the mini all-in-1 Giant M A Meg
0:10 okay so first of all this is an ion based atom based PC so you can see atom
0:16 ion GeForce Cuda and pure video HD so
0:19 the ion chipset allows this small tiny
0:22 PC much like the Acer Revo to process
0:25 1080p full HD video they're saying it's
0:28 extremely s silent includes an LCD Mount has a 160 gig hard drive 2 gigs of
0:33 memory and an energy saving atom CPU now
0:37 one thing that this has going for it versus something like an Aspire Revo is
0:41 that it does not include an OS cuz not
0:45 everyone actually needs a copy of an OS when they buy a new pc so if you buy one
0:50 of these you can use your existing operating system in order to just
0:53 install it and go okay so here we go this is the you know we can talk about
0:58 this once we open it up I seen no reason to do it now here let's have a look at
1:02 the specs there we go what's inside one Zotac Meg one stand One Visa Mount four
1:06 Mount screws an AC adapter a power cord a support CD a warranty card and a user
1:11 manual and there's the full spec so we've got the atom 330 dual core NVIDIA
1:15 ion graphics processor 2 gigs RAM uh gigabit Lan okay we've got N wireless an
1:21 SD and SDHC card reader on board 8
1:24 channel digital audio and then we have VGA HDMI spiff mic headphone 6 us ports
1:30 that's a lot of USB ports for one of these that's pretty good gigabit and
1:34 then eat so let's get this opened up and
1:37 have a look at the mini all-in-one
1:40 giant it's actually a pretty nice box I really like Zak's color scheme just like
1:45 the matte black and and glossy orange I don't I can't explain why it sounds
1:49 tasteless but I think it looks great okay so what's this say it's time to
1:54 play actually in my um in my tech tips
1:58 episode about the Evo I actually did uh
2:01 a demo where I'm playing Counter-Strike Source on the on the ion chipset and it
2:06 handled it okay so maybe you can play maybe it is time to play okay warranty
2:11 terms so it has a uh a one-year warranty
2:15 okay and then there's your driver installation CD along with the Zotac
2:19 case badge then you've got your users manual as well as a quick start guide
2:23 which is available in WoW check out all these languages look at that that is a
2:29 lot of languages good job Zotac you can really tell that they're looking to sell
2:33 this internationally like with a capital I all right in here we will find four
2:38 Mount screws and then one stand okay so
2:42 we can sit the mag on top of that when we are using it on this side we found
2:48 find one power cord and then one AC adapter AC adapter
2:52 is a little bit on the big side but it's not exactly a netbook so you're not
2:55 going to be moving around with it I wouldn't worry too much about that and
3:00 then one more piece of cardboard it's packed in here pretty pretty darn well I
3:05 actually am quite happy to see that it's not going to be damaged during shipping
3:09 and it's not going to have the Finish damaged either I really like this
3:12 particular foam okay so here we are so let me see
3:18 if I can figure out how this works okay so it comes sort of sitting on top of
3:24 the Vasa Mount so I'm going to have to
3:27 slide it out okay so that is how it
3:30 attaches it actually slides right into that and then yeah there we go I got it
3:35 off okay so that attaches to the back of your monitor or your TV and then you
3:39 slide the mag down into it that's pretty clever actually I like
3:43 it and then here we are we've got the Zotac Meg itself so this thing is really
3:48 light really small and let's have a look at what we've got included in terms of
3:52 functionality so here is your power switch there is what appears to be a
3:56 hard drive LED then there's your wireless activity LED one front USB the
4:01 front SD and SDHC card reader then you've got a microphone and a headphone
4:05 port on the front then we move around to the back and here we have eSATA a couple
4:10 USB 1 GB Ethernet two more USB uhoh I'm lost I don't remember what
4:16 that is VGA HDMI and then optical audio
4:20 out and then there's your power in so it actually sits on the stand little you
4:23 know what let's like it's peeled off here so it has a very very wow very
4:29 glossy finish on it can you see the the finger shot there where you can yeah
4:34 okay awesome and it's got like a Zotac a Zotac sort of branding label on it yeah
4:40 I mean it's a fairly non-descript looking unit to be perfectly honest on
4:43 the top there's one more USB which I had missed before and then on the bottom
4:48 we've got just some air vents as well as the little piece that slides onto the
4:52 stand so thank you for checking out my unboxing of the Zotac Meg
