0:07 lus Tech tips is getting an upgrade folks if you haven't already seen my
0:10 videos where I unboxed the fs700 camera
0:14 and our new man fro tripod and head you can watch this one where I'm unboxing
0:19 our Blackmagic intensity Pro HDMI
0:23 capture card so what this is going to allow me to do is use a high quality
0:27 camera to do even things like live streams and webcasts and stuff like that
0:33 so HDMI capture okay well let's see what Blackmagic has to say for themselves
0:37 okay HDMI analog htsd video editing card okay uh includes onair video mixing
0:42 onair software allows real-time mixing between multiple video sources such as
0:45 cameras requires intensity or intensity Pro installed in a fast host system for
0:50 each video input and onair software will auto sync video cameras display
0:53 monitoring and record to dis cool stuff HDMI analog components that's great for
0:57 HDTV or standard definition editing editing UNC press video because remember
1:01 guys when you have a fancy pants camera like an fs700 you can record to SD you
1:06 can record to memory stick but you're going to be recording an abchd you will
1:10 not be recording uncompressed video so that's what um video capture is
1:16 fantastic for okay compression C displace friendly professional
1:19 compressor is required intensity includes the same black magic design
1:23 video technology used on Hollywood feature films so quality won't limit
1:26 your creativity cool stuff all right let's
1:30 open this up have a look at what we've got in terms of accessories I actually have two of these cards coming uh well
1:36 two of them are here see there's two um and these will be used to run a
1:41 multicamera setup using xsplit and uh
1:45 record live to tape for things like
1:48 unboxings so you can see oh look at that they're using a zyink Spartan chip on
1:53 there they've got what appears to be some ddr1 or ddr2 memory that's either
1:58 way it's not DDR3 can tell from the package size um H are they using a PCIe
2:04 bridge chip no looks like this is a native PCIe 1X card very short card so
2:09 on the back all you've got is HDMI in HDMI out and then the adapter for analog
2:15 so this is not a DVI connector even though it kind of looks like one see
2:19 kind of looks like DVI but it's not this is a breakout cable so you just go ahead
2:23 and plug that in there we won't be using any of the analog though analog is for
2:28 hosers at this point well maybe it isn't I don't know maybe
2:32 you have a very good reason why you still capture analog video maybe you
2:35 have like a fantastic analog video card so it looks like these are a full set of
2:40 in andout for component and audio so one
2:45 of these Reds over here there's your audio one and then you have a RGB and
2:50 then some kind of okay whatever that is
2:53 so yeah so two sets one in one out and we won't be using any of it cuz we don't
2:59 care oh what's this nope I don't know what this
3:04 is this oh like an S oh is that like an S adapter or something that look like
3:09 that'ss video I think so that's probably for like two of these like two of these
3:12 are probably labeled in some way so that you can use them for whatever this is oh
3:17 maybe it's composite or something I don't know what they're doing here but it doesn't matter it's an HDMI capture
3:22 card it captures it up to 1080p 30 FPS
3:26 so that'll be perfect for like a dual cam setup where we want to capture 1080p
3:31 at 30 FPS it can also do 720p at 60
3:34 FPS and uh what else have we missed here switch between HD and inst instant oh
3:38 yeah works on OS 10 as well as Windows uh works with Final Cut Pro Premier Pro
3:43 After Effects Photoshop lots of other cool stuff and that's pretty much it so
3:47 we've got two of these now which is very exciting times for lus Tech tips don't
