0:05 adata xpg V2 memory kits are optimized for the latest Intel gaming platforms
0:10 check the link in the video description for more details I don't even know what
0:14 gandas means to me it sounds kind of like an adjective like oh man that was
0:18 so gambas yeah or something anyway uh
0:22 this is the Zeus from gambas this is the Esports Edition it is a laser gaming
0:26 mouse that is capable of 8200 DPI uh
0:31 just like most of the other gaming mice these days so that particular feature
0:35 doesn't set it apart but I'm hoping that what we'll find when we open up this
0:39 mouse right here is other things to set it apart like those little things that
0:43 they thought of that someone else didn't like we saw with their keyboard not that
0:48 long ago where it was kind of like oh okay there is still innovation in the
0:54 gaming peripheral scene and there is still room for improvements to be made
0:58 so let's start with what's inside got reasonably nice packaging here so the
1:02 you know cable sits in there and the other stuff sits somewhere else they've
1:05 got the mouse itself inside as well as
1:08 documentation that uh talks about the gambas Olympics or something so has
1:13 harnessed Zeus's most powerful weapon into something but anyway uh okay next
1:19 we've got it looks like a cleaning cloth
1:22 or whatever this is what is this
1:26 accessory storage pouch okay so the weight tuning piece right here which you
1:31 can adjust sort of where the weights sit can go inside the accessory pouch as
1:35 well as extra Teflon feet okay and some
1:41 Gambia stickers which you could apply to your things if you so desired more
1:45 Teflon feed and finally an instruction manual and this is kind of unique so
1:50 most of the main points about the mouse are actually inside here so it supports
1:54 up to 1,000 Herz pulling rate which is pretty standard it has a 32bit cortex
2:00 microprocessor inside it so guys just to put that in perspective you might think
2:04 oh well it's a mouse I mean what kind of processing power does it need and you'd
2:07 kind of be right but there are things that a mouse will need to do so for
2:11 example if you're running a complex extremely long macro it might be
2:14 beneficial to have a better processor if you are trying to track over a
2:19 particularly difficult surface a better processor might benefit your mouse and
2:23 so just little things like that but I mean it's still probably a little bit
2:28 overkilled to be completely realistic about it so let's get into the mouse itself so
2:34 the first thing you'll notice about the mouse is it actually has quite tasteful
2:38 lighting effects you can cycle through profiles and you can actually see which
2:41 profile you're on visibly with an LED indicator under the mouse wheel up here
2:46 there you go we got some red some orange some blue some lots of different colors
2:50 so you can configure those within the Hera software which is I mean this is
2:54 like this is like the funniest thing I think I've seen on a product in a little
2:57 while here so check this out guys so one of the buttons on the mouse is
3:00 configured this one right here to launch the downloader page so check this out
3:05 click basically it's a macro that goes start run and types in gas.com I love it
3:11 so because the mouse has onboard memory it has 512k onboard memory you can
3:15 actually set up things the way you like it and then you can uh just use them
3:20 that way on any computer so they've of course done this at the factory so that
3:23 it's set up that way it's got nine programmable buttons so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
3:29 middle click N9 and then the left and right buttons themselves and that pretty
3:34 much does it for the top it has a nice soft touch feel that isn't sort of too
3:38 soft it still has a tiny bit of texture but it's a little bit slippery as well
3:43 which I think is going to be good for durability in the long term unlike
3:46 something like the Logitech G9 which I have an old old G9 and it basically just
3:50 peeled away and logitech's basically come out and said all of our new mice
3:53 yeah they don't peel anymore so anyway this doesn't look like it's going to have any peeling issues and now we can
3:58 move on to the bottom where we see more lighting effects these ones look really
4:02 really cool so it's like a red underglow it looks outstanding speaking of things
4:06 that look outstanding check this out so these right here are some of the finest
4:11 ergonomic adjustments that I've ever seen on a product at all so you can
4:16 actually adjust the width of the mouse in three different places here here so
4:23 this piece right here you can actually see there are gaps in the mouse okay so
4:26 here as well as here can be adjusted
4:29 either in or out with three separate wheels on the bottom of the mouse and I
4:33 can tell you guys that it is very dramatic the difference between the
4:38 mouse fully sort of clamped together and
4:41 fully extended so good on gambas for coming up with yet another Innovative
4:46 sort of implementation of something that is an idea that's been done before the
4:50 whole adjustable ergonomics speaking of adjustable things you can pop out the
4:54 back here just like that and it flips out five little weight compartments so
4:58 there's a little thing right here so you can start taking them out but I didn't have too much trouble taking it out
5:02 anyway so you just kind of pull up on them like that so they're 4 and 1/2 G
5:06 weights each there you go little 4 and 12 gr thing right there and you can
5:10 adjust them however you want the overall finish of the mouse is very very nice I
5:14 mean there's just little little touches like the braided cable I do appreciate
5:18 braided cables uh just because they're a little bit more cat proof little like
5:21 shiny gambus logo here on the top so with all of that said what do you get
5:25 for this mouse you get something that's very adjustable I want to give you guys
5:29 sort of a quick look at the ergonomics I'd say for anyone with medium-sized
5:32 hands this is going to be quite a comfortable Palm Mouse because you can
5:36 see my hands are a little bit on the small side so I'm going to have trouble reaching that last button right there
5:40 but the other three I can roll my thumb along no problem no difficulty there
5:44 these can all be easily reached but if you have medium siiz hands this is going
5:48 to be a really nice Palm Mouse and if you were to widen it fully and you had
5:51 quite large hands you could probably claw it a little bit as well it should
5:54 be noted that in spite of the adjustability here these are quite
5:58 strong so there's not much Flex to them
6:01 uh even I believe it's this one right here the bottom one that is fully
6:04 extended I can go ahead and I can squeeze that pretty hard and uh you're
6:08 really not going to see you're not going to see any give to it so good on them
6:12 for getting that right on their first attempt as well that combined with the
6:15 fact that it has a full set of replaceable feet is pretty nice to see
6:19 too so thank you for checking out my unboxing and overview of the gandus Zeus
