0:07 today I'll be doing an unboxing of the sedo wireless 3D mouse keyboard so this
0:13 is a company that's based in Taiwan they're calling this the Air keyboard
0:17 let's have a look at what else they have to say about themselves it is okay
0:20 Beyond limitation easy installation good Wireless life Plug and Play okay
0:26 interesting let's see what else we got here same kind of stuff uh operating
0:30 voltage 2 to3 volts two AA batteries is what powers it it supports pretty much
0:35 every OS Under the Sun including Linux look at that interesting effective range
0:39 of up to 10 m hot keys for controlling Windows multimedia functions motion
0:44 sensing air mouse now that is cool left
0:47 and right Mouse button so here we go let's go ahead and I'm
0:52 just going to grab a little screwdriver here cuz I lost my unboxing Knife yet
0:56 again and let's open this thing up and have a look it looks pretty cool based
1:01 on my analysis of the outside packaging
1:05 but remains to be seen how good the product looks so comes with a couple
1:09 ablea Energizer batteries very nice
1:12 those don't expire until 2017 so those will last you a little
1:16 while okay and then we have the oh
1:21 that's a clever way to store the dongle look at that so the dongle plugs into a
1:25 dummy USB port on the back for storage and then you just unplug that
1:29 plug plug it into your USB port and off you go it's Plug and
1:33 Play the batteries install here as well
1:37 as here so the weight of the unit should be pretty even to the left and the right
1:42 and let's have a look at the overall layout of it so you've got a full quiry
1:46 keyboard layout yeah almost everything no compromises being made here so all
1:51 the number Keys uh the tab you've got
1:54 all your letters you've got like your brackets and your backs slash and your
1:59 semic colon your apostrophe so you can
2:03 you can actually type let's let's have a look
2:10 okay personally I would have preferred
2:14 if the letters were a little bit more centered on the layout because what I
2:17 find myself doing is um gravitating
2:21 towards here as kind of my home row spots when actually they're more like
2:25 sort of here so it's a bit of a reach for my right hand so
2:31 yeah the spacing is feels a little funny but I think you'd get used to that
2:35 without too much difficulty now it's got a space key that actually has three
2:40 points under it I can feel three distinct switches down there so what's
2:43 nice is that means if you hit it with your left hand or your right hand you're still going to get it to uh register got
2:49 your backspace key here you got your delete you got your calculator search my
2:54 computer email and internet hot Keys
2:58 then you also have media Keys mute volume down volume up stop back forward
3:02 pause play and Skip as well as a hm
3:06 that's kind kind of a mouse pointer key and a Windows key now you can use the
3:09 mouse like this or you've got oh
3:13 interesting so all right you have either the option of the air using these as an
3:18 air mouse or you can move the pointer around this way there's your middle
3:21 click there's your left and there's your right click I'm going to have to try this as an air mouse to see how it goes
3:26 though so the air mouse actually works
3:30 surprisingly well so um check out the
3:33 computer screen basically here I'm going to lean forward a little bit so you can
3:36 kind of see what I'm doing but all I have to do is aim it around kind of like
3:40 a laser pointer at the screen and I can
3:44 move the mouse cursor around now in terms of accuracy let's go ahead so I
3:49 can double left click using the shoulder button here and uh don't ask me again I
3:54 can go here and I can go to youtube.com
4:02 enter and my cat is drinking my water
4:06 can you believe
4:09 this oh my internet connection's down okay give me a sec guys sorry about that
4:13 guys okay I got my Internet working now so we're going to go ahead go to
4:17 youtube.com here we go so I'm going to type in oh I don't know line
4:24 T oops
4:28 tips enter and then I can find oh the
4:31 channel line is check so looks like a good Channel just going to maximize my
4:36 window here scroll down so the accuracy is actually good enough for me to sit
4:40 here and so 13 years you guys wait that's enough of that and use my
4:44 computer as I normally would see pesky ads go away there you are so there you
4:49 go that is the Air keyboard thank you for
