0:04 trusted gaming gear partner is Corsair Vengeance and our trusted retail partner
0:08 is nc.com now when it comes to sponsorships
0:14 tell me something why tastosis okay so um a lot of people know
0:20 us in the past were really involved with Starcraft like Marine King white RW sen
0:24 all those like big name players um but
0:27 when you really think about Starcraft you really think about the announcers
0:31 you think about people that are entertaining you while you're watching the game they're telling you how to feel
0:35 about the game they're telling you how to think about the game um you're you
0:38 can really relate to them on a personal level because you feel like they're
0:42 having a conversation with you every day that you're watching Starcraft so um who
0:46 else than to go with than the most famous Esports personalities out there
0:52 tasteless and artosis so that was our reasoning um to approach them but at the
0:57 same time they were really eager to develop personalized gaming products um
1:02 and that's one thing that we really specialize at tte sports is being able
1:05 to make personalized gaming gear we have a mouse and mouse pad for white raw we
1:09 have a keyboard and mouse pad for Prime team and Marine King so they've known
1:13 that we've done that in the past so they were really excited to develop products
1:16 from the ground up in the design phase and the testing phase to be able to make
1:21 the stuff that they really want to use and that's something we're working with them right now on now we actually
1:25 mentioned this in one of the episodes that we did for um uh ncx uh if you're
1:30 not familiar with them it's Canadian retailer um where I actually haven't had
1:34 that much familiarity with thermal products in the past same with tte
1:38 sports and I I picked up the white raw Mouse and I kind of went oh this is
1:43 actually designed for some dude's hand because it doesn't fit me at all whereas
1:47 I feel like a lot of the time with these gamer sponsored products it's just a
1:52 product that you then find a gamer to sponsor whereas it really doesn't seem
1:56 like you guys do that so so which ones would you say are the ones where it
2:00 really was designed for like that guy and and if you want to play like him and
2:05 and and use a a tool like he uses you're really getting that experience yeah a
2:09 lot a lot of uh companies or products in the past have just used a pro Gamer's
2:13 face to stamp on the box and endorse it um where we really started developing
2:18 products uh on a personalized level is when we started with the prime team
2:21 keyboard um you can really see that Marine King's design really went into
2:27 that keyboard it's bright red with pink Keys he's really well known for like
2:30 wearing really flamboyant clothing being like an out there personality so that's
2:34 when we designed uh we sat down in a room with them and I said okay um here's
2:38 the layout we're going to be using tell me what switch you want to use tell me
2:41 what colors you want to use and we'll make it even though a lot of people
2:45 don't like the red and the black and the pink color scheme is like whatever you
2:48 want we will make for you because that's uh the deal we have with you so that's
2:53 where we really started and then even taking it to a next level with tastosis
2:57 I sent them like the the 3D drawings of
3:00 the the mouse design and artosa would say no I want to change that so like 2
3:05 weeks later send him a new one no I want to change that it's like okay well it keeps kind of getting pushed back but
3:09 he's really like he has a big emphasis on this has to be perfect this has to be
3:14 perfect if you want me to uh sell this
3:18 and so we finally finished the design I
3:21 got a 3D printer in our office we printed out the the model of the mouse
3:25 sending it to him next week to finally to get get his final approval so he
3:29 could actually start making the mouse so um yeah that I think it started with the
3:33 prime team keyboard with the design and the color scheme and then we took it to
3:36 the next level actually just starting from the the base just 3D designs 3D
3:41 models let's get to the really barebone stuff before we uh actually make the
3:44 product a real a real product that people can go out and buy and use that's
3:48 fantastic cuz it's just totally different from what I see other guys
3:52 doing and it's one of those things where everyone's afraid to make that
3:56 polarizing product that isn't you know
4:00 good for the masses I mean you know how long it's been since I've encountered a
4:03 mouse as large as the white raw Mouse I
4:07 was like oh someone with big hands can actually Palm this whereas you see
4:11 everyone else hedging their bets they build a palm mouse that someone with
4:15 bigger hands they expect them to just claw it and you guys just don't believe
4:20 in that I mean like I said earlier something for everyone so if you want a
4:23 big mouse small Mouse we have that um I know personally like artosis likes a
4:28 small Mouse we're developing a smaller claw type Mouse for him but we have you
4:32 know a big mouse for white raw um sen our Taiwanese star he uses aurus mini
4:37 which is our really um basic small Mouse
4:40 design so we have something for everyone you like a big small um
4:45 flat I mean we could go we could go there with that but we'll leave that to
4:49 another interview maybe we'll get white raw in on that one do you have like a like a private room that we could do
4:54 that interview in well we got three three interview rooms in the back but
4:57 well we won't talk about that in public do any of them have a poll
5:01 little hot tub all right thanks man all right thanks
