0:08 so here i am at ces and once again razer has an utterly
0:13 crazy prototype project linda thing that
0:17 they're showing off that actually really isn't that far out there so in
0:23 front of me i have what appears at first glance to be three razor blade stealths
0:28 but one of these things is not like the other
0:31 or in sort of different terms two of them are
0:35 not like the other this is a regular razer blade stealth it has an Intel core
0:39 something or other processor it has a screen it has a battery it has a GPU of
0:44 some sort some RAM some storage these ones are totally different so
0:48 we've actually seen concepts like this before where you take
0:54 whoa did he just press that button where you take your phone
0:59 and you just put it into kind of a dumb shell and take that CPU that RAM that
1:04 storage that battery that Android experience and make it larger than life
1:09 and razer is showing off actually a more
1:13 finished version of this than i probably would have expected so they moved the
1:18 keyboard up so there's no power button here anymore the power button is now on
1:23 the side of the phone so your fingerprint is going to work just fine
1:26 as long as you use the right fingerprint because normally you would set up the razer phone with your thumb because it's
1:30 kind of on the side anyway don't worry too much about those details then you've got a 1080p screen up here which may or
1:35 may not ever be a real product at all so will it be 1080p i don't know but in the
1:40 future they do say it will be touch screen so
1:43 um how are you able to clarify that it will have some specs but you can't say
1:47 that it will have others because it might not ever be a pro you know what
1:50 it's not the point the point is you got a big screen up here that would be touch screen you've got a small screen down
1:55 here that you can use as a second screen slash use as a gigantic trackpad the
2:00 speakers are actually built into the phone and then they're going to have some other functionality built into this
2:04 guy as well so it's going to have an extended battery so you're not going to
2:07 have to worry about the still impressive four thousand milliamp hour battery but
2:11 maybe not good enough to power this screen for a long time battery you're
2:15 going to be able to get hopefully a fair bit of use out of it it's got a full
2:19 size razor grade keyboard so that means nice clicky keys in the case of the
2:23 razer blade stealth as well as full RGB lighting it's got an illuminated razer
2:27 logo on the back and they're working out a way to use usb on the go for expanded
2:32 storage so it's not clear whether that would be through a microsd slot or
2:36 whether that would be through storage that's actually built into the chassis
2:39 itself in terms of io right now the
2:43 project linda version of it has a headphone jack
2:46 so razer does know we still need those how about that it's got a type c input
2:50 that can also be used for charging and power and then it's got a type a over on
2:54 the other side so the idea here is that whether it's for larger screen gaming or
2:59 whether it's for some you know lightroom i mean phone processors are getting so
3:03 powerful that you can legitimately oh right sorry this one's tethered down
3:07 they didn't want me lifting that one up sorry so you can legitimately do
3:11 productivity type work on your phone processor the idea is now you've just
3:15 got a bigger screen in order to be able to have a better experience so
3:20 they're not talking about pricing if i had to guess i'd say based on just you
3:25 know the aluminum construction the sort of quality of the components and all
3:28 that i don't think it's going to be cheap so let me know what you would
3:32 think would you consider buying like a shell accessory like this that is for
3:37 one specific model of phone although we don't know what razer's plan for the
3:41 future of the razer phone is maybe they're going to keep this form factor for a bit i don't know but would you
3:45 consider an accessory like this to have a more laptop-like mobile experience
3:51 with your phone device and if so please leave a comment letting me know
3:56 how much you would consider paying for something like that
4:00 but wait don't go away hold on hold on there's one other thing that i wanted to
4:03 show you guys here today check this out so this is cool i
4:08 actually asked razer they had no idea if this was going to work or not but hey
4:11 usb is usb right and this thing for a
4:14 project type product not product project um it's in a
4:20 fairly functional state actually check this out this right here is the razer
4:25 mamba hyperflux it is a wireless mouse that
4:30 requires no battery and no wire whatsoever because it is using inductive
4:35 charging now you might say well hold on a minute Linus logitech has
4:40 had that for months and you would be right but that's slightly different because razer's
4:44 solution doesn't have a battery
4:48 so when you take it off the pad you have
4:51 to plug in the cable or it just doesn't work at all
4:55 and you might go but Linus that sounds terrible
4:59 well hold on maybe it's not terrible maybe it's just a different use case
5:03 because unlike logitech solution the mamba hyperflux is extremely light so
5:08 what it has in it is a capacitor that charges up over a span of about 30
5:13 seconds because i mean it's got to use all the rest of the power so for all the
5:16 you know chroma RGB lighting and everything on it and then that gives you
5:20 about five to ten seconds of you know liftoff timer like oh i accidentally
5:23 went off my mouse pad but i want to make sure that it's working right away and
5:26 there it is completely wireless mouse and uh
5:31 all yours for the value price of just 249.99 us
