0:00 our coverage of computex 2017 is brought to you by the Corsair 1 and Synergy
0:05 check them out at the link in the video description so my initial plan for the
0:08 Gigabyte Suite was pretty straightforward drop by check out the
0:11 x299 boards and then GTFO then I saw this thing this is not
0:19 the thinnest GTX 1080 gaming notebook
0:22 that's here at the show both ASUS and
0:25 Acer actually have thinner ones but gigabytes approach to VI's Max Q design
0:32 technology that they announced here in my opinion is a little bit better Balan
0:37 so yes inside this device is a
0:41 fully-fledged GTX 1080 8 gig GDDR 5x
0:46 overclockable graphics card and while you might not be that impressed cuz it
0:50 is about a half a cimeter thicker than ASUS's design in my opinion they've made
0:56 fewer gross tradeoffs than both of the
0:59 other guys with a touchpad that's in a normal location and a massive 94w hour
1:06 battery not to mention that the rest of the specs are looking pretty balls to
1:11 the wall as well it's got a great mix of IO with support for up to three external
1:16 4K displays it's got four full-size USB
1:19 ports in addition to a type-c and a
1:22 Thunderbolt 3 Port it's got HDMI out it's got an SD card reader and Hardline
1:27 networking making it suitable for work station use and that's not all that
1:32 makes it suitable for workstation use the 4K display might not be high refresh
1:36 rate which I would prefer but it's panone certified it's got a number pad
1:41 it's got programmable macro keys and the
1:44 whole keyboard is RGB backlit with a nice feeling touchpad that I wish was a
1:48 little bit more responsive feeling but these are small complaints because when
1:53 you open this thing up it has absolutely got it where it counts to go along with
1:57 the overclockable graphics card they've got an overclockable core i7 7820hk quad
2:03 core up to 64 GB of ddr4 memory and you
2:08 can even swap them yourself because they're sodum based they've got two m.2
2:12 slots with support for raid zero in addition to a 2 and 1/2 in Drive Bay and
2:18 they are rocking a massive 94w hour
2:22 battery so that extra half a cm is
2:25 really being put to good use now you
2:29 aren't going to get this for cheap it's going to cost over
2:32 $3,000 but so far this is looking like
2:36 the best balanced thin GTX 1080 notebook
2:40 that I've seen it might seem a little cludy that you got this little kickstand
2:44 thing to get a little bit of extra cooling but in my opinion it actually
2:47 feels less flimsy than as's vent that
2:50 opens up when you flip open the
2:54 display so thanks for watching and a huge shout out to Synergy for allowing
2:57 us to be here at the show their software which you you can save 25% on it the
3:01 link in the video description lets you share a mouse and a keyboard across
3:04 multiple PCS even crossplatform and to
3:08 Corsair whose Corsair one small form
3:11 factor gaming PC looks and performs freaking fantastic you can check that
3:15 out down below as well don't forget to
3:18 subscribe so you don't miss any of our compex coverage and I will see you guys
3:22 at the next uh
3:25 terrifying skyscraper Suite man it is a long way
