0:07 welcome to my unboxing and first look at the Logitech g600 MMO gaming mouse this
0:11 mouse has been turning a lot of heads because it looks like it might be the
0:16 perfect Mouse because it just is awesome
0:20 in fact this is okay to aside putting
0:24 the product down this is the first mouse that I've seen that has tempted me to
0:30 ditch my aari laser I know right like I love the razor
0:34 Naga but the shape doesn't quite do it for me like but I love having all the
0:37 buttons it's great for playing like torch light or whatever else I don't actually play any MMOs but it's still
0:42 great for RPGs this the shape looks in
0:46 pictures I haven't I haven't touched one yet looks like I might just go for it so
0:51 MMO gaming mouse 20 MMO tune buttons I also love the way Logitech mice track
0:55 like my g9x is awesome the only reason I use the aari is cuz the shape really
0:59 does it for me but it doesn't have enough buttons so okay I'm pretty stoked
1:03 on this all right so 200 to 8200 dots per inch okay 11.2 megapixels per second
1:08 30 G's maximum acceleration it's like how many G's can you have um like a g 20
1:15 MMO tune buttons a 12 thumb buttons a clickable scroll wheel that tilts DPI
1:18 and profile switching all preconfigured for optimal anal use right out the box no drivers required however you'll still
1:23 benefit from installing drivers intuitive Thum panel design it looks
1:27 really good but I haven't tried it yet total personalization three onboard
1:31 profiles store all your button assignments tracking information and liting color settings use them as is or
1:35 download the optional software to tweak them to Perfection gshift and DPI shift
1:40 activate gshift with the ring finger button doubling the functionality of any
1:43 thumb button oh cool so you can shift
1:47 neat okay or set your profile to use the button for DPI shift lowering the
1:51 sensor's DPI for precision moves like for sniping for example crafted for
1:55 Comfort it looks pretty good high Precision laser sensor people swear by
1:59 Optical sensors still but I'm not really that
2:03 sold like I love the aari laser I can't think of any reason I would want an
2:06 optical sensor versus that one intuitive light up thumb panel made for the way
2:10 you play so you can actually change the lighting to any color red green blue
2:14 white or anything in between and let's
2:17 go ahead and have a look you know the Box could have been this big if they didn't have to say so much about how
2:22 awesome this mouse is cuz this is all we really
2:25 needed okay here we go no software included download the latest from
2:29 Logitech which is good just fine just fine ooh oh
2:35 wow this is the best sleeving I've seen on the cord of a mouse ever like ever
2:41 like look at this even right out of the box it looks like rope it doesn't have
2:47 any of that like wired kinkiness to it
2:50 not really it basically looks like the cord is wrapped in carbon fiber like can
2:54 you see that can you see how awesome that is I yeah like I was biased already
2:59 to towards this mouse just because I'm really hoping it's as awesome as I think
3:03 it is but now it's just sort of making it really hard for me to not just want
3:08 one okay another thing that I love about Logitech I know their mice are durable
3:13 I've been using my G9 for a few years now and the feet are still basically
3:17 like the day I got it they don't wear through at all so again this uh the g600
3:22 has very large very large slippy pads on
3:26 the bottom all along the top of the mouse all along the bottom of the mouse
3:30 oh the shape is like sex in your hand but in a good way
3:35 it's like perfect it's not a huge Mouse
3:39 um so if you have smaller hands it's probably going to work perfect for you
3:43 as a palm grip you can see I can hold on to that just fine like I can shake my
3:46 hand around I can hold on to it but without accidentally pressing any
3:50 buttons except that left click I'm actually pressing that one but I'm not
3:53 too worried about that none of the I don't have to hold on so tight that I'm
3:56 going to accidentally press any of these buttons though that's for sure let's go
4:00 ahead and peel this off
4:03 okay um got like kind of a sort of
4:07 Crisis Nano suit looking pattern on the side here the back you got your g600 you
4:13 got all your buttons okay so let me just sort of visualize what these are like
4:17 so naturally these six are going to be
4:21 easy I can tell that much just feeling them so these six at the front here are
4:25 going to be easy Once you come over these two bries
4:30 it becomes very clear which set you're touching and let me just see like am I
4:34 going to be able to move this while operating these or operating these it
4:39 requires a bit of a shift so what I'd say is you would want to have sort of
4:43 these six be your main ones that you use and these ones would be like your
4:47 backups with the exception of ones like this which you can reach quite easily
4:51 even without moving just by rolling your thumb back and maybe you the bottom
4:55 one's a little bit tougher even this one's pretty easy to feel just because
4:58 you you can you can really this Ridge right here is really the landmark that
5:03 you've got so these all curve in I want you guys to have a look at this from the
5:07 side they all curve in towards the center which gives you a really good feel for the six and the six and then
5:12 these are quite sharp as you roll over them so that gives you a really good
5:15 idea of which one you have your thumb on at any given time it's quite smart um
5:19 the one problem I had with the Naga was that really for me to use them I was
5:24 only able to feel my way around maybe
5:28 four or five of the buttons easily this one I think I could probably use at
5:33 least seven to eight of them without any difficulty this one as well is going to
5:37 be quite easy to get to because of the fact that it's got this uh this bump on
5:41 it right here so I'm thinking at least 8
5:44 n this is oh man I'm I'm liking this so
5:48 you got a couple more G buttons here this is that one that can be programmed
5:51 either as a shift or as a uh or as a DPI switcher another programmable button
5:56 here these see I can reach that like this this one I don't find to be that
6:00 useful though the G8 um I don't think I'd be able to reach that in a game this
6:05 has a tilt either way that'll obviously be usable middle click will be usable
6:09 and the shape of this is very nice your fingers fit in quite easily and the
6:13 pinky can either sit on the grip here perfectly positioned grip so that you
6:17 can keep it above the mouse pad if you want or you can let your pinky drag
6:20 which some people do like to do as well I'm actually going to get slick to give
6:24 us the large-handed person perspective on this so here just give me the camera
6:29 and uh sort of just maybe give me the
6:33 give me the nod or the not nod so that's what it looks like in much larger hands
6:37 here here's Slick's hand versus my hand show them the yeah see so we're talking
6:42 a pretty big difference here that's not a trick of the camera folks what do you
6:46 think mostly claw grip yeah okay for see
6:49 for me I can pomm it what if you try to pomm it yeah so that's kind of jokes if you
6:54 try to pom it your fingertips will be nowhere near the buttons see
6:58 that so just a couple so yeah it'll be a claw grip for larger handed people and
7:02 it'll be a fingertip grip for uh people who have smaller hands for the ladies
7:07 out there who want to play their you know um My Little Pony MMO or whatever
7:11 it is that girls girl gamers play um I'm just I'm just kidding I'm just kidding I
7:15 know girl gamers play real games they just aren't watching this channel so I don't have to worry about what they
7:19 think um so okay okay right to be clear
7:23 three% of my viewers are female so to those 3% I'm sorry uh thank you for
7:28 checking out this unboxing in first look at the oh you want me to plug it in
7:31 right he kept gesturing I wasn't sure like I wasn't sure what he meant by he
7:35 could have meant like shank someone or you could have meant like I don't know I
7:40 wasn't sure where he was going with that so let's go ahead and plug it in have a look at the lighting effect so I'm
7:45 expecting it to Glow at some point oh
7:48 yeah looks pretty good look at that it
7:51 Cycles through all the colors for you while it's like doing
7:54 something fantastic actually those are some of the better uh those are some of
7:58 the better color transitions that I've seen as well
8:01 very very granular so thank you for checking out
