0:00 thank you to the hyperx YouTube channel for sending us here this year that's youtube.com/ Kingston hyperx also thank
0:05 you to linda.com and Phantom glass welcome to the Intel booth at PAX East
0:09 2015 what we're going to be doing here today is a top five OEM system Showdown
0:13 so I've gone through all the crazy amount of systems here and picked five
0:16 top systems for usually fairly unique reasons the first one we're going to
0:19 start with is NC PC we got to give them a shout out cuz they're our buddies from
0:23 back home this system is named the Rogue X for Rog and x99 it has a 5820k in dual
0:29 9 80s a 730 series Intel SSD 16 gigs of
0:33 RAM and a 1 TB hard drive the water cooling system in this machine is called
0:37 a turbo Hydro it's got a pump dual radiators a whole bunch of different
0:41 fittings but my favorite part is the quick disconnects if you had any reason
0:44 to swap all the graphics cards if they failed if you wanted to do an upgrade if
0:48 you wanted to put them in system whatever it is you'd be able to take
0:51 these graphics cards out using the quick disconnects to easily do that put the
0:54 quick disconnects back together without the graphics cards and be able to run
0:57 your system totally fine which is a sweet feature it's not hard piping hard
1:02 piping is super cool and looks great but this is going to be easier to work with
1:06 in the long run as you can see here these are Poseidon cards I might have
1:09 mentioned that earlier usually ncipc would be installing EK water blocks on
1:13 their cards but they just wanted to show how they could configure posidon cards
1:16 for you if you wanted them you can pick pretty much whatever the heck you want in their systems and they'll do whatever
1:21 for you they can even put Automotive grade carbon fiber on pretty much any
1:24 piece you want as you can see here one of the tubing runs has carbon fiber on
1:28 it that was Ivan's nice little Edition but you can do pretty much whatever you
1:31 want just contact them and they'll help you configure whatever you need ncx PCS
1:34 is one of only 10 companies in North America that can say that they're powered by ASUS PCS ASUS puts the
1:39 certification on systems that they believe are very well built and very
1:43 high performing it's just a good overall experience next up is dogghouse if you
1:47 haven't heard of them I don't blame you apparently they got the company name by
1:51 the the man who started it when in the doghouse when his wife was kind of mad
1:55 that he started a computer business I don't know how true that story is but I
1:58 heard that from someone that's here so we'll see anyways there's a 5960x inside
2:02 an Intel 730 series SSD a 1000 W EVGA
2:05 power supply an h100i and that's about
2:08 it other than the Dual 980s for performance Hardware in terms of custom
2:12 work they've added a lot of purple LEDs including to the power button at the top
2:16 of the case although I would have hoped that they would have done it to the hard drive activity LED as well instead of
2:21 just the power button but it does look pretty cool and quite unique but the big
2:25 draw for this computer is that doghouse computers will do custom 3D printing for
2:30 you so in this one they've done a 3D printing shroud to go to the fan at the
2:33 back to help cool your motherboard a pretty unique and pretty cool system I
2:37 haven't really seen very many of these so it was really cool to see it it packs this year all right guys next up is the
2:42 Exotic PC executioner this has a 5960x
2:46 dual 980s a 480 gig Intel series 730 SSD
2:50 and 16 gigs of ddr4 RAM as you can see it's very beautifully hard piped I know
2:54 I was just ragging on hard pipe a little bit when I was checking out the nzx PC
2:57 system but that this could definitely be something you're looking for especially
3:01 if you're not looking for Rapid upgrades in the future one thing that they did
3:04 here too is this is clear hard piping so it actually looks like it's solid white
3:08 but that's due to the pastel nature of their actual liquid in the system the
3:11 system is currently just sleeved with the Corsair kit but if you wanted to get
3:15 custom sleeving from exotic PC that is definitely something they offer as well
3:18 one thing they can do too is metal piping if you're not down with that clear acrylic I don't know exactly what
3:23 metals they can use but I know that they can do metal piping and if you want some
3:26 more customization as you can see this system is lit up with LEDs you can get
3:30 your system lit up with LEDs and controlled by an external controller so
3:33 you can like turn the lights off when you want to go to bed or anything like that one of the bigger Jaws for this
3:37 system as well was how much it's been painted they've got an automotive grade
3:40 painting solution where they can paint pretty much anything and in this system
3:44 they've done up the GPU plates on the graphics cards and the actual case
3:47 itself with their custom logos which looks really sick they've actually also
3:51 painted the RAM I didn't notice that at first and it wasn't just the kind of Plasti Dip solution that lonus did in
3:56 his build log it's actually again that Automotive grade paint next up is origin
4:00 PC they have a 5960x 730 series SSD a
4:04 1300 W EVGA power supply and a 380s
4:08 actually most of the systems here are running one or 2 980s but origin went
4:11 for three the CPU is cooled by a triple Radiator in the trop a triple 120 mm
4:16 Radiator in the top which also has their own custom logo on the Block other than
4:21 custom sleeving there actually wasn't a ton of like mods done to this case but
4:25 they made it into my Showdown just because of how badass the actual case is
4:29 as you can see in this situation they've rotated their motherboard something super unique up in the front they've got
4:33 that really sick hard drive cage that they have in all of these cases which is
4:37 just a really nice Adder That You Don't See in a lot of these cases so if if
4:41 you're looking into something which isn't necessarily too crazy this system
4:45 could go for you but origin off also offers a ton of modifications if you go
4:49 for one of their other tier systems and last but definitely not least in
4:52 performance or price is the main gear force superstock in its current
4:57 configuration has a 5960x dual 9 80s on
5:00 a deluxe board with 32 gigs of RAM and a 1200 W Corsair power supply and
5:05 naturally it also has 730 series ssds for storage but any of this stuff is
5:09 configurable you can get more larger 730 series ssds you can get more graphics
5:14 cards this case obviously supports up to quad graphics cards pretty much whatever
5:17 you want the parallelized Dual pump water cooling system on this thing is
5:22 nothing short of insanity there's 85 fittings that's enough fittings to
5:26 easily cool eight different systems if you had to use them individually but
5:30 they use all these 85 fittings to do a lot of really cool things there's a
5:34 really easy access drain Port it looks generally beautiful throughout the
5:37 entire thing but something to remember is that just those 85 fittings alone
5:41 will be around a grand but if you're going for a for superstock Price
5:44 probably isn't a large object for you so I'm just going to move on from there it
5:47 has a triple 140 mm Radiator in the top and a quad 120 mm Radiator in the bottom
5:52 to go along with all that nice fancy water cooling to help justify the cost
5:56 of this system there's an insane level of detail if you you have a very
6:00 specific color that you need all your logos to be they can match that with
6:03 their wire Combs as they make them in-house and they'll even color coordinate everything all the way down
6:07 to the exact zap straps that are all throughout the system all right guys
6:11 thanks for watching be sure to check out youtube.com/ Kingston hyperx they helped
6:14 us a ton with getting us here this year and they release a lot of cool gaming
6:17 content we even have some stuff on there so be sure to subscribe also check out
6:21 store. fantomcat out there and linda.com packs
6:26 to help learn a bunch of cool stuff like editing and Premiere coding business
6:29 works whatever the heck you want all right guys what build was your favorite hit up #y Intel build on Twitter or
6:35 Instagram or Vine or whatever the heck you like to frequent and let them know
6:38 if you submit your build or another Buddy's build or a build you've done or
6:42 maybe even one of these you might be able to win one of three core i7 Intel
6:47 processors along with definitely using that hashtag let me know what system you
6:50 like the most in the comments down below and over on the Forum thank you guys for
6:54 watching stay subscribed to lineus techtips to see all of our paxi 2015
6:57 content all right guys if you stay tuned for this long I have a little surprise
7:00 for you I don't know how much I can tell you about it so I will tell you nothing
7:04 but it is an SSD prototype and if you go to Intel gaming promo.com SSD you'll see
7:10 maybe more information but definitely a countdown timer and if you wait for imem
7:14 or Intel extreme Masters they'll definitely be releasing more info there
7:17 so stay tuned
