0:07 I'm actually quickly becoming a fan of teeken motion because uh you know some
0:12 of their products have been you lowend
0:15 at low price point so you know more value oriented products but one of the
0:19 ones that I had an opportunity to have a look at and that I actually use
0:24 regularly now is the pulse wave and what I like so much about that product sorry
0:28 I'm not going to even talk about this all for now I'll talk about the pulse wave for a bit one of the things I like
0:33 about it is the fact that it allows you with the flip of a switch to either use
0:37 the onboard USB sound card or use the
0:40 analog uh sound input so what that means is when like the speakers I have on my
0:45 desk at work are not um they don't have
0:49 a proper headphone output on the front so what that means is that unless I was
0:54 using a USB headset then I couldn't actually
0:58 have two different audio devices at the same time so that was kind of a pain I
1:02 thought that was stupid cuz my front audio doesn't work on my case so what I
1:06 did was I was able to use the USB in that scenario and then when I want
1:10 better quality audio out of it um and I have a proper sound card then I can just
1:15 not use the USB and I can switch to analog I thought that was cool I don't
1:18 use the vibration functionality of it at all um that particular aspect of that
1:23 headset I think is a bit of a gimmick but what I do use is the just generally
1:29 come able and very good sounding headset
1:33 considering the price point and considering the sort
1:37 of you know less professional audio
1:40 oriented kind of positioning that they had for it they're like yeah it lights
1:44 up and it vibrates and blah blah blah so you would expect it to not sound very
1:48 good but then it did so that's that's what I liked about it so moving on to
1:53 the Intruder uh which is the headset that we have here today what do we got
1:57 here in terms of accessories and whatnot give me give me just a moment here and I
2:02 will tell you guys exactly what we're dealing with so the first thing we find
2:10 is here we are uh which direction does this go this
2:15 is going to go this way so we have a detachable mic which I'm personally a
2:20 big fan of I'm I don't always you know need to when I'm wearing my head
2:25 headphones I don't always need to look like you know a gamer necessarily
2:29 depending where I am so attachable mic is capable of moving sort of in this uh
2:34 range okay so it can sit right by your mouth or it can sit a little bit away from it okay what else we got here we
2:40 have sort of uh a bit of a harder foam
2:43 but a very desirable shape so they've gone with an ear shape which is sort of
2:48 seems like rocket science when you look at most uh most headsets where they have
2:51 round shapes or oval shapes well this looks like an ear which is good because
2:55 it's designed to fit over an ear it's like I said it's not really the softest
2:59 foam I've ever felt um but what they've gone for I guess is more lightweight in
3:04 terms of more padding and cushioning um
3:07 which is what it has on the uh pulse
3:10 wave which is the one that the one that I regularly use um this is kind of neat
3:16 check this out so it actually uses a a headset Jack so you could use this with
3:21 your phone to make phone calls um if you
3:25 if you so desired which is kind of Handy
3:29 in fact it includes two microphones apparently so hold on a second and I
3:33 will figure out where that other microphone went okay guys I figured it
3:37 out so it has a fairly wide variety of
3:41 different attachments and adapters and dongles and doodads and there's
3:45 different ways to use sort of all of them so it has two microphones it has
3:49 the gaming mic which is like your typical uh huge microphone that sits in
3:54 front of your mouth then it has a Mobility
3:58 mic so this one is intended for use if you're like
4:02 making a phone call or something so you're out and about you're just using these as headphones and you've got your
4:06 smartphone or whatever else with you you use this Jack right here which is
4:10 smartphone compatible and you got just a little mic down here so it doesn't sit
4:14 right in front of your mouth while you're sitting on the bus right okay so
4:17 there's those two microphone options then on this side of things you can
4:23 either plug this in for right
4:27 angle okay or you you can plug this
4:33 into here where you get your inline
4:36 volume control as well as your microphone mute okay so that's on the
4:40 controller here and then it goes out to your dedicated headphone and microphone
4:44 jacks and then for whatever reason
4:47 they've also included the ability to adapt it back to one of the three band
4:54 connectors which you can use to plug into a smartphone or whatever else and
4:57 then you can go to right angle
5:01 so they've included all these different adapters giving you a ton of different
5:04 options in terms of cable length so you can have a nice long cord that can reach
5:08 to your your other device or you can have a short one in fact speaking of the
5:13 cord length it's oh I don't know about two Linus ARM bans long which make it
5:17 about 11 ft long so now let's have a closer look at the headset itself so I'm
5:21 going to put the uh the gaming mic on so
5:24 you just you put it on Sideways and then you you rotate it that way it's locked
5:27 in place and uh yeah here let's have a close look so these are these are
5:31 rotatable look at that that's a wider range of rotation than I typically see
5:36 uh so that means that no matter how your ears are oriented on your head you're
5:39 not going to have too much difficulty fitting it on correctly not as much
5:44 padding like I said as I have on the pulse wave but uh like okay it is a
5:49 lightweight headset so I guess that's that's to be expected um let's see it's
5:55 a fairly open design I can hear myself uh very very clearly while I'm talking
5:59 here so I wouldn't expect much of the noise of whatever it is that you're
6:02 listening to to be isolated from the people around you very good overall
6:06 aesthetic this is the kind of thing that you wouldn't have to be other than the word intruder which maybe you could
6:11 maybe you could scratch off you wouldn't have to be too embarrassed to wear something like this out in public
6:15 especially if you don't have the uh the gaming mic on it you just click this to
6:21 you know wherever and then run it down to your pocket to your phone so it's a
6:25 good length for that if you're just going to go like that there you go it's
6:30 about right so I think that pretty much covers it thank you for checking out my
6:34 unboxing and first look at the Intruder
6:38 from teeken motion uh so it's a lightweight sort of they call it a
6:42 gaming headset but you can use it for pretty much anything in fact if I'd even
6:45 looked at the box I would already know this so PC and Mac mobile devices
6:49 removable mic headband 40 wow really 40
6:53 mil speakers huh wow neat so don't forget to sub
6:59 subribe to my less Tech tips channel for unboxings reviews and other computer
7:03 videos and thank you for checking out this video on the teeken motion Intruder
7:08 and one more thing that I hadn't talked about just yet so you got the folding
7:12 design
7:15 here there you go and it comes with a
7:18 carrying bag
