0:00 today I'm going to be having a look at a very special edition of the Razer Naga
0:05 this is the Razer Naga molten special edition so this is an
0:10 expert MMO gaming mouse for gamers by Gamers which is Razor slogan it comes in
0:14 a very similar packaging to the regular Naga MMO optimized multi-button thumb
0:20 grid the multi-button thumb grid of the Razer Naga molon special edition creates
0:24 an entirely new way of playing MMO games which I actually don't use for MMOs
0:29 because I don't play m but I have used it for some offline RPGs like Dragon Age
0:34 as well as torch light and it's awesome so I don't have a molten Edition I have
0:38 a regular Naga but I just just love the
0:41 way that the uh the grid is so easily accessible from with
0:46 your thumb in addition by using razor driver software you can send any key or
0:49 custom macro to all 17 buttons out
0:54 standing okay what else do we got here
0:57 17 MMO optimized buttons uh maximum comfort for long gaming
1:02 sessions and it's true custom interface add-ons for MMO games as well as an
1:07 ergonomic design 3.5g laser sensor it has a great
1:11 sensor 1,00 HZ Ultra pulling on the Fly
1:14 sensitivity as well as Ultra slick Mouse feet on the back we find more of the
1:18 same 7t lightweight braided fiber cable
1:21 goldplated USB connector anti-slip rubber coating on
1:25 the top as well as a scroll wheel with 24 individual click positions is that
1:29 that so I have never bothered to count
1:34 how many click positions there are on a mouse wheel
1:39 before and I don't think we're going to be able to count this one because you
1:43 don't really have any way of knowing where it starts unless you mark it
1:46 somehow all right so let's find out what's in the
1:49 box first things first we have Razor's usual excellent
1:54 packaging which includes some glue or something okay we go ahead
2:00 and take this
2:09 off for gamers by Gamers razerzone.com
2:12 okay what do we got in here probably a user guide probably some kind of driver
2:17 disc probably a catalog of other razor merchandise probably a certificate of
2:22 authenticity there it is ooh the grid trainer so this includes little dots
2:28 which you can apply however desire to allow you to more easily find your way
2:33 around the grid so you've got some square ones you got some circle ones
2:37 whatever you prefer cool quick start guide Master
2:43 guide some stickers something about get
2:51 imba okay as well as a product catalog
2:54 so no driver disc guess you're going to download the latest drivers from the
2:58 Razer website which I would have expected Ed my more dedicated viewers to
3:03 already know to do anyhow so here why don't we put these back in the correct
3:07 order here just throw that in there somewhere throw that in there
3:15 somewhere oh that won't work yes it will no it won't I don't
3:20 know how this is going to work okay so put that there and then let's get the
3:24 Razer Naga molten Edition out of the
3:28 packaging so here is the braided cable
3:32 with goldplated USB connector next to my keys which no longer need to be here as
3:37 well as the plastic packaging that comes off quite easily so we just pull the
3:40 table through here and boom we have unboxed the mouse it was actually that
3:44 easy so the molten Edition here just for the sake of
3:48 comparison next to the regular non- molten Edition you know what I think
3:54 they've actually slightly altered the finish on it although it's hard to say
3:57 cuz mine's quite worn and maybe not no I
4:01 changed my mind I don't think they've changed the finish on it versus the
4:04 original Naga okay you can see from the
4:07 side that they are quite
4:11 identical okay you can see from the other side that they are also quite
4:15 identical from that angle as well so it looks like all we've really changed is
4:19 this piece of plastic the pattern on it um from a razor logo to a cracked well a
4:27 razor logo but a more different one okay so so we're going to go ahead
4:33 and plug this in in order to
4:37 experience what it looks like side by side with the original
4:42 Mara oh pulsating
4:45 oh who waa did they both start pulsating oh no no that was just the driver oh
4:50 hold on oh W they both started pulsating
4:53 bizarre I've never seen my blue one do that before okay must be something to do
4:58 with the driver so here's the 3.5g sensor on the bottom here here's where
5:02 you can switch between the number pad or the number buttons at the top of the
5:07 keyboard depending what you want everything bound to the naga has
5:11 exceptional slippy pads going all the way around almost the bottom of the
5:16 mouse the entire circumference and then
5:19 here are all of your thumb buttons so in terms of ergonomics I'm a big fan of the
5:23 Naga you know what it's probably not great for people with big hands I have
5:26 quite small hands and you can see that I fit very very comfortably on the Naga
5:30 being able to reach the back buttons with the bottom of my thumb like this
5:33 the middle buttons with the top of my thumb as well as the other two rows It
5:39 just fits like an absolute glove for me it's actually one of my favorite razor
5:42 mice in terms of econ uh economics ergonomics in spite of the fact that
5:47 it's kind of a weird Mouse and that it has 17 buttons on it um so here's your
5:51 back and forward there's your typical normal buttons that you'd find on the
5:55 side of a mouse then you've got your left and right click your middle click
5:58 as well as the 12 buttons on the side so thank you for checking out my unboxing
6:02 of the Razer Naga molten special edition
