0:08
as well as hyperx all right guys welcome to the
0:11
origin suite and welcome to one of the coolest things I've seen at CES 2015
0:15
this year this is the Eon 17x and also the Eon 15x the only difference between
0:20
these two laptops is their size 15-in screen 17-in screen it has a desktop
0:24
freaking processor in it it has a 4790k and it has one that's overclocked
0:29
not even stock speeds not underclocked it's running at 4.5 GHz on every
0:33
freaking core that's four cores overclocked and it doesn't throttle it's
0:37
completely fine for other freaking crazy performance metrics it also has a GTX
0:41
980m with 8 GB of memory the screen is a 1080p screen but it supports 4K output
0:48
on its display ports so you could easily plug this into a 4K TV or 4k monitor and
0:53
get that 4K awesome gaming that you want to do now you might be wondering why do
0:56
I need this crazy processor in my laptop especially people like who might be
1:00
editing videos or streamers who might be using expit or something that uses a lot
1:04
of your CPU when you're on the road it could be crazy helpful some games are
1:08
also CPU dependent not a ton of them but some of them are so that might not be
1:12
for everyone but the people that do need this will greatly appreciate it this
1:16
laptop is also 37.5% thinner and 30% lighter than the
1:21
predecessor fullsize desktop processor laptop from origin the keyboard is
1:25
fairly standard Fair it's a back lit keyboard uh no actual real problem here
1:30
the mouse tracking pad is fairly normal but I do like that they're separated
1:34
independent left and right clicks and some people will also appreciate the
1:38
fingerprint reader right in the middle in terms of IO on the left hand side we
1:42
have Ethernet triple USB 3 a DSD MMC
1:45
port and a eeta USB combo port on the
1:50
back side you have your beefy monstrous power jack a HDMI out and dual display
1:55
port fullsize DisplayPort out on the right hand side you have one USB 3.0
2:00
Jack quad audio jacks and a Kensington
2:03
lock in terms of audio they're running a sound blaster x53 and the general
2:08
Aesthetics of the machine are able to be changed this one that we have here is a
2:11
Sleek matte black but it being origin PC
2:14
you could get a custom paint job you get some of their other stock colors pretty
2:18
much whatever the heck you want to do on the bottom they have five fairly large
2:21
rubbery freet so you won't have to worry about this thing scooting around on you while you're gaming they also have a
2:26
subwoofer port and easy access to your battery storage and RAM slots under the
2:31
computer which is nice because we're seeing some computers now these days
2:35
where you can't change things and that's really frustrating all right guys thanks
2:38
for joining me at the origin Suite if you want a laptop with a full-size
2:41
desktop processor in it let me know in the comments down below thank you to
