0:00 huge thanks to Squarespace for sending lonus Media Group to CES 2016 check out
0:04 the link in the video description to learn more about Squarespace so there's
0:08 a lot of stuff in the MSI Booth they've got like a star destroyer computer they
0:12 got a bunch of liquid cooled computers they got ey tracking they got VR they
0:16 got all this stuff but this this is the
0:19 focal point this is the center of the room this is the vortex and this is the
0:26 actual cause of a legitimate argument
0:29 between me and someone that I've actually known for years at MSI and I
0:33 would have considered a friend until I came into the booth and he told me no
0:38 lonus you may not open the vortex so
0:42 inside this kind of Mac Pro shaped but
0:45 actually slightly bigger cylinder PC they have a phenomenal amount of
0:50 Hardware so they got a core i7 6700k that's a sky processor up to 64 gigs of
0:56 ddr4 RAM loaded on sodm memory sticks so that's no memory sticks up to two GTX
1:03 980s note the absence of an M yes that
1:06 is NVIDIA's new mxm gtx980 two m.2 SSD slots so you can
1:13 throw in NVMe ssds you can put them in raid if that's even supported yet I mean
1:17 you don't even need to you could just throw throw one NVMe in here throw
1:21 another like you know storage NVMe CU you're apparently a baller because it's
1:25 priced at anywhere from $2,000 for the one with 960s to 3,00 ,000 for the one
1:31 with 980s but you're probably asking yourselves well hold on a second lonus
1:36 how did they get two 980s in SLI a GTX
1:40 6700k up to 64 gigs of RAM and two
1:43 drives in here great question and you can actually watch Apple's keynote on
1:48 the Mac Pro online because it was I'm
1:51 sorry MSI because it was actually done in a fairly similar manner so instead of
1:55 relying on the more traditional PC
1:58 configuration where you've got the box with all the components kind of against
2:02 one side they've actually got multiple completely custom laid out pcbs inside
2:07 here with one gigantic blower fan on the top that MSI is claiming is capable of
2:13 something in the neighborhood of like 22 DB at idle and in the low 30s underload
2:18 making it not only extraordinarily powerful but extremely quiet and they
2:22 didn't skimp on iio either at the back you'll find four USB 3.1 ports two HDMI
2:28 ports two mini dis ports and two USB 3.1
2:33 type-c ports with Thunderbolt support
2:36 for a total of six display outputs
2:39 natively supported if you count the USB 3.1 type-c and also Thunderbolt 3 ports
2:45 oh yeah and I guess it's got dual Lan as well audio ports and all the usual stuff
2:49 now this is not the final Hardware it
2:53 isn't launching until Q2 which is apparently why they won't let me open it
2:57 but I have somewhat forgiven Cliff
3:00 because he has assured me and now this is this is documented this is documented
3:05 Cliff he has assured me that lonus Tech tips will be the first to cover the
3:10 finalized system you have my work so drop a comment on the video and let me
3:14 know if you are excited to see us tear apart the vortex and reveal its secrets
3:20 to the world I didn't bring a screwdriver can you believe I didn't
3:24 bring a screwdriver everyone came so prepared for me this year I walk in
3:27 they're like no you can't open it so thanks for checking out this video
